Pedestrian speed in a transfer station corridor is faster than usual and sometimes running can be found among some of them. In this paper, pedestrians are divided into two categories. The first one is aggressive, and the other is conservative. Aggressive pedestrians weaving their way through crowd in the corridor are the study object of this paper. During recent decades, much attention has been paid to the pedestrians’ behavior, such as overtaking (also deceleration) and collision avoidance, and that continues in this paper. After sufficiently analyzing the characteristics of pedestrian flow in transfer station corridor, a cell-based model is presented in this paper, including the acceleration (also deceleration) and overtaking analysis. Acceleration (also deceleration) in a corridor is fixed according to Newton’s Law and then speed calculated with a kinematic formula is discretized into cells based on the fuzzy logic. After the speed is updated, overtaking is analyzed based on updated speed and force explicitly, compared to rule-based models, which herein we call implicit ones. During the analysis of overtaking, a threshold value to determine the overtaking direction is introduced. Actually, model in this paper is a two-step one. The first step is to update speed, which is the cells the pedestrian can move in one time interval and the other is to analyze the overtaking. Finally, a comparison between the rule-based cellular automata, the model in this paper and data in HCM 2000 is made to demonstrate our model can be used to achieve reasonable simulation of acceleration (also deceleration) and overtaking among pedestrians.  相似文献

The modelling of active magnetic bearings based on a network approach is considered. Unlike in the standard modelling approach, where a linearization of the current-force relation for the centred shaft position is used, network models permit to include the position dependence of the bearing force in the force model. This becomes necessary when model based controllers are used to stabilize a magnetically supported shaft in tracking applications.

The approach is based on the well known application of network models to magnetic circuits. Further simplifying assumptions are discussed which allow one to obtain a network with a limited number of lumped parameters describing the magnetic behaviour of a magnetic bearing. The modelling of a combined radial and axial bearing serves as an example for the application of the proposed approach. Furthermore, the fitting of the network based model to measured characteristic force curves is discussed. In this context, a method for including saturation effects in the model is sketched.  相似文献

Macomber1 has inquired into the mechanisms by which a signal is produced in a crossed-coil NMR spectrometer, His reflections led him to question the conventional explanation and to propose in its place a novel and more subtle one. The claim is made that the crossed-coil instrument is unique in its performance of a special form of emission spectroscopy-the detection of coherent spontaneous radiation (superradiance).2 It is important to question fundamentals; however, we must disagree with the author's conclusions.  相似文献

Planetary rovers need high mobility on a rough terrain such as sandy soil, because such a terrain often impedes the rover mobility and causes significant wheel slip. Therefore, the accurate estimation of wheel soil interaction characteristics is an important issue. Recent studies related to wheel soil interaction mechanics have revealed that the classical wheel model has not adequately addressed the actual interaction characteristics observed through experiments. This article proposes an in-wheel sensor system equipped with two sensory devices on the wheel surface: force sensors that directly measure the force distribution between the wheel and soil and light sensors that accurately detect the wheel soil surface boundary line. This sensor design enables the accurate measurement of wheel terrain interaction characteristics such as wheel force distribution, wheel–soil contact angles, and wheel sinkage when the powered wheel runs on loose sand. In this article, the development of the in-wheel sensor system is introduced along with its system diagram and sensor modules. The usefulness of the in-wheel sensor system is then experimentally evaluated via a single wheel test bench. The experimental results confirm that explicit differences can be observed between the classical wheel model and practical data measured by the in-wheel sensor system.  相似文献

In this paper we report the first application of multivariate data analysis techniques to force spectrometry measurement sets to enable the physicochemical assignment of spatially ordered multi-component systems. Principal component analysis (PCA) and hierarchical clustering techniques were used to reveal hidden chemical information within force-distance curves generated by high spatial resolution force microscopy. Two experimental samples were analyzed: (i) a two-component system of cytochrome c proteins on a mica surface, and (ii) a three-component system of avidin protein islands positioned on a gold and glass surface. PCA and hierarchical clustering techniques were used to discriminate the different components of the two-component system, whereas hierarchical clustering was found to be superior for the three-component system. Results were in good agreement with the topography and prior knowledge of the surface patterns. This research represents a formative step towards the combination of force spectrometry with chemometric tools for the high resolution physicochemical investigation of complex biochemical systems.  相似文献

On-surface synthesis is at the verge of emerging as the method of choice for the generation and visualization of unstable or unconventional molecules, which could not be obtained via traditional synthetic methods. A case in point is the on-surface synthesis of the structurally elusive cyclotriphosphazene (P3N3), an inorganic aromatic analogue of benzene. Here, we report the preparation of this fleetingly existing species on Cu(111) and Au(111) surfaces at 5.2 K through molecular manipulation with unprecedented precision, i.e., voltage pulse-induced sextuple dechlorination of an ultra-small (about 6 Å) hexachlorophosphazene P3N3Cl6 precursor by the tip of a scanning probe microscope. Real-space atomic-level imaging of cyclotriphosphazene reveals its planar D3h-symmetric ring structure. Furthermore, this demasking strategy has been expanded to generate cyclotriphosphazene from a hexaazide precursor P3N21 via a different stimulation method (photolysis) for complementary measurements by matrix isolation infrared and ultraviolet spectroscopy.  相似文献
