We report the observation of giant negative magnetoresistance up to −46% at 60 kOe magnetic field in Ni1.68Co0.32Mn1.20Ga0.80 alloy, which is about 5 times larger than that reported in Ni-Mn-Ga alloys. The significant change in resistivity during martensitic transformation originates from the altered electronic structure due to the change of magnetic state. The magnetic-field-induced phase transition from partially antiferromagnetic martensite to ferromagnetic austenite is responsible for the enhanced magnetoresistance.  相似文献

The magnetic behaviors of ferromagnetic single-walled nanotubes are systematically investigated by use of the many-body Green's function method of quantum statistical theory. The spontaneous magnetization, absolute value of ferromagnetic energy, area of hysteresis loop and coercivity increase with diameter of the tubes and spin quantum number, and decrease with temperature. Curie temperature increases with diameter and spin quantum number. As the diameter of the tube tends to infinity, all the numerical results approach to those of a two-dimensional monolayer. The dependences of initial susceptibility on temperature and diameter below and above Curie point are contrary. The calculated results are compared with experimental results where possible, and are qualitatively in agreement with the latter. The Curie temperature is determined by the tube diameter and independent of rolling helicities.  相似文献

A theoretical study is presented on the current-driven ferromagnetic resonance in the magnetic trilayers. On the basis of the Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert-Slonczewski equation, we derive the output dc voltage for arbitrary anisotropy in the free and pinned layers by the linearization method. As an example, the resonance spectra of the tilted-polarizer and perpendicular-analyzer trilayer show that the equilibrium position, the resonant linewidth and the resonant location can be tuned by changing the magnitude and the direction of spin torque. The effective damping can be minimized through adjusting the current and the pinned-layer magnetization direction.  相似文献

The NixFe1−x alloys close to the stoichiometric Ni3Fe composition are modeled by means of Monte Carlo simulations. To describe the atomic and magnetic configurations, the Ising and Heisenberg models with nearest-neighbor interactions have been used, respectively. The pairwise interactions have been fitted to the experimentally measured Curie and Kurnakov temperatures, the Fe-Fe magnetic exchange interaction has been considered antiferromagnetic. The mutual influence of the magnetic and chemical ordering is evidenced and a good agreement with the phase diagram is obtained. Our numerical results show that the magnetic order is able to increase the Kurnakov temperature and, reciprocally, the chemical order is responsible for a rise in the Curie temperature. Also, the influence of the applied magnetic field on the chemical order is investigated and an increase of the Kurnakov temperature with the external field is observed.  相似文献

The effects of the magnetization on the transport properties of a ferromagnet/barrier/ferromagnet spin valve fabricated with a topological insulator are studied. We consider two types of junctions, (i) an F1/normal barrier (NB)/F2 junction and (ii) an F1/magnetic barrier (FB)/F2 junction. The junctions in both cases lie in the xy-plane with the magnetizations in both ferromagnetic regions, F1 and F2 aligned in the z-direction. The charge carriers in the topological insulator have a Dirac like energy spectrum of a massive relativistic particle with the magnetization M playing the role of the mass. The gap opening is a special magneto feature of topological insulators. In an anti parallel alignment of the two magnetizations, the mass of the carriers is negative in the region where M is in the negative direction. The negative mass leads the behaviors of the magneto transport properties and the tunneling magneto resistance of these junctions to be quite different from those of graphene-based spin values.  相似文献

The negative viscosity of a colloidal dispersion composed of ferromagnetic rod-like particles, which have a magnetic moment normal to the particle axis, have been investigated. A simple shear flow problem has been treated to clarify the particle orientational distribution and rheological properties of such a semi-dense dispersion, under circumstances of an external magnetic field applied in the direction normal to the shear plane of a simple shear flow. The results obtained here are summarized as follows. For the cases of a very strong magnetic field and magnetic interactions between particles, the magnetic moment of the rod-like particles is significantly restricted in the magnetic field direction, so that the particle approximately aligns in the shear flow direction. Also, the particle can easily rotate around the axis of the cluster almost freely even in a simple shear flow. Characteristic orientational properties of the particle cause negative viscosity, as in the previous study for a dilute dispersion. However, magnetic particle-particle interactions have a function to make such negative viscosity decrease.  相似文献

拓扑绝缘体的出现为寻找拓扑超导体和Majorana费米子提供了一种可能的途径. 在拓扑绝缘体Bi2Te3表面沉积极薄的不连续铅膜, 试图通过邻近效应感应出大片的超导区, 为下一步研究拓扑超导电性创造条件.借助四引线电输运测量实验, 在0.25 K的低温下看到了超流现象, 表明沉积在Bi2Te3表面的厚度小于20 nm的颗粒化铅膜能够诱导邻近效应, 并且使大片Bi2Te3超导. 关键词: 超导邻近效应 S-N-S结 拓扑绝缘体  相似文献
