A low-field non-resonant microwave absorption has recently been observed in a variety of magnetically ordered materials at low DC fields (−1000 Oe HDC+1000 Oe), which is known as low-field microwave absorption (LFA). It has been shown that LFA is essentially similar to giant magnetoimpedance (GMI), and clearly different from ferromagnetic resonance (FMR). LFA strongly depends on the anisotropy field of the sample. In contrast with FMR (which can be described as the homogeneous precession of spins in the saturated state), LFA can be thought as a spin rotation process occurring during the magnetic saturation. In this work, we present a detailed study of the basic features of LFA in several types of materials: ferrites and amorphous microwires and ribbons; in particular the effects sample shape, temperature up to the Curie transition, the influence of easy axis and the effects of annealings. These examples show that once LFA is fully understood, it can become a powerful characterization tool.  相似文献

 以闪光二号加速器为研究平台, 建立了微分环阵列和Rogowski线圈同时监测二极管电流的方法,监测了二极管绝缘体表面的滑闪现象。根据电流探头测量结果的差异,分析了绝缘体滑闪对电子束流参数的影响。二极管绝缘体出现滑闪,位置附近的微分环波形严重畸变,其它位置的微分环和Rogowski线圈测量结果基本一致。采用距离滑闪位置较远的微分环结果处理二极管束流参数,相对于不出现滑闪时的结果,束流强度和总能量没有明显的变化。绝缘体滑闪沿面局部放电,能量损失较小,尚未对电子束流造成较大影响。  相似文献

We studied the electrical properties in Fe-Al2O3 granular films when the injected direct current or bias potential are varied in the low-field regime (eΔV?kBT). Measurements of the electrical resistance as a function of temperature and applied bias at different temperatures were performed. We found that the electrical properties are best described using variable range hopping. The variation in resistance showed unexpected characteristics in distinct regions of potential. These regions of potential could be due to modification of the electronic localization length. We have shown that the electrical resistance decreases when the applied bias and/or current increases. We associate this behavior of the resistance with the activation of new electronic paths. The total resistance of our samples is reduced as additional parallel electronic paths are formed.  相似文献

Cupric oxide nanoparticles of ∼8-10 nm width and 40-45 nm length self assembled as large particles ∼1-1.5 μm have been investigated, in the 10-325 K temperature range, using magnetic and dielectric measurements. In magnetic measurements a single broad peak at ∼230 K in a zero field cooled sample has been observed. Coercivity, in magnetization measurements at 10 K, suggests that the nanoparticles are core-shell type particles with an antiferromagnetic core and a ferromagnetic shell. Dielectric measurements, at various frequencies from 3.7 Hz to 949 kHz, exhibit a sharp peak at 284 K followed by weak anomalies around 213 and 230 K.  相似文献

In this paper we investigated the influence of mirror symmetry on the transmission spectra of quasiperiodic magnonic multilayers arranged according to Fibonacci, Thue-Morse and double period quasiperiodic sequences. We consider that the multilayers composed of two simple cubic Heisenberg ferromagnets with bulk exchange constants JA and JB and spin quantum numbers SA and SB, respectively. The multilayer structure is surrounded by two semi-infinite slabs of a third Heisenberg ferromagnetic material with exchange constant JC and spin quantum number SC. For simplicity, the lattice constant has the same value a in each material, corresponding to epitaxial growth at the interfaces. The transfer matrix treatment was used for the exchange-dominated regime, taking into account the random phase approximation (RPA). Our numerical results illustrate the effects of mirror symmetry on (i) transmission spectra and (ii) transmission fingerprints.  相似文献

The samarium doping zinc oxide (Zn1-xSmxO) with (x=0.0, 0.04, 0.05 and 0.17) polycrystalline thin films have been deposited on n-Si(1 0 0) substrate using thermal evaporation technique. Ceramic targets for deposition were prepared by the standard solid-state reaction method and sintered in nitrogen atmospheres. X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy analyses show that the bulk and films features reveal wurtzite crystal structure with a preferential (1 0 1) crystallographic orientation and grows as hexagonal shape grains. According to the results of the Hall effect measurements, all the films show p-type conductivity, possibly a result of nitrogen incorporation into the Sm-doped ZnO samples. Magnetic measurements show that ferromagnetic behavior depends on the Sm3+ concentration. For a film with lower Sm2O3 contents (x=0.04), a phenomenon of paramagnetism has been observed. While, with further increase of Sm3+ contents (x=0.05) the ferromagnetic behavior has been observed at room temperature. However, at higher doping content of Sm3+, the ferromagnetic behavior was suppressed. The decrease of ferromagnetism with increasing doping concentration demonstrates that ferromagnetism observed at room temperature is an intrinsic property of Zn1-xSmxO films.  相似文献

Experimental data on magnetization of the antiferromagnetic (AFM) polycrystalline samples in the temperature range of 20-300 K, for pressures of 2 kbar and in magnetic field of 300 kOe, are presented in the paper. In the fields of 250 kOe, the magnetization curve demonstrates a jump explained by exchange-interaction sign change. In the region of 50-70 kOe, on the differential susceptibility versus magnetic field curve, there is a break of the 2nd order corresponding to the anomalous behavior of the magnetization. The obtained results were processed on the basis of the phenomenological Landau theory. It is shown that the ferromagnetic vector occurrence is forced during the formation of AFM spiral structure. The behavior of thermodynamic potential factors has been determined. Three more anomalies have been revealed and explained by a jump-like magnetization change of the Co-subsystem.  相似文献

We experimentally studied the frequency dependent complex permittivity ε and permeability μ of composite composed of carbonyl iron powder (CIP) and epoxy resin in the frequency range 1-18 GHz. We found that the intrinsic ε and μ of CIP extracted from the measured ε and μ of composites follow the classical Maxwell equations and the Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert (LLG) equation, respectively. The dependences of ε and μ of composites on the volume fraction of CIP (vfCIP) were investigated using the two-exponent phenomenological percolation equation (TEPPE). We found that the TEPPE can fit the experimental results very well. Comparing the results of percolation parameters derived by experimental data at different frequencies, we show that the TEPPE is frequency independent for the composites at microwave frequencies. The results also show that the ε and μ spectrums of composites with definite vfCIP can be correctly calculated by combining the TEPPE with the theoretical models of intrinsic ε and μ.  相似文献

拓扑绝缘体是当前凝聚态物理研究的热点.退相干效应对该体系的影响的研究不仅有重要的理论意义,而且也是实现未来量子器件的不可或缺的前期工作.文章作者从理论上研究了退相干对二维拓扑绝缘体特别是量子自旋霍尔效应的影响.研究结果表明,作为量子自旋霍尔效应的标志的量子化纵向电阻平台对不破坏自旋记忆的退相干效应(普通退相干)不敏感,但却对破坏自旋记忆的退相干效应(自旋退相干)非常敏感.因此,该量子化平台只能在尺寸小于自旋退相干长度的介观样品中存在,从而解释了量子自旋霍尔效应实验中所观测到的结果(见Science,2007,318:766).同时,文章作者还定义了一个新的物理量,即自旋霍尔电阻,并发现该自旋霍尔电阻也有量子化平台.特别是该量子化平台对两种类型的退相干都不敏感.这说明在宏观样品中也能观测到自旋霍尔电阻的量子化平台,因此更能全面地反映量子自旋霍尔效应的拓扑特性.  相似文献
