Previous work has shown that Benjamin-Feir unstable traveling waves of the complex Ginzburg-Landau equation (CGLE) in two spatial dimensions cannot be stabilized using a particular time-delayed feedback control mechanism known as ‘time-delay autosynchronization’. In this paper, we show that the addition of similar spatial feedback terms can be used to stabilize such waves. This type of feedback is a generalization of the time-delay method of Pyragas [K. Pyragas, Continuous control of chaos by self-controlling feedback, Phys. Lett. A 170 (1992) 421-428] and has been previously used to stabilize waves in the one-dimensional CGLE by Montgomery and Silber [K. Montgomery, M. Silber, Feedback control of traveling wave solutions of the complex Ginzburg Landau equation, Nonlinearity 17 (6) (2004) 2225-2248]. We consider two cases in which the feedback contains either one or two spatial terms. We focus on how the spatial terms may be chosen to select the direction of travel of the plane waves. Numerical linear stability calculations demonstrate the results of our analysis.  相似文献

This paper presents an important improvement for precise AC magnetic measurement under sinusoidal magnetic flux by using the digital feedback of harmonic compensation. Core loss-testing can be simply carried out with the sinusoidal magnetic flux even at a magnetic induction up to 1.87 T. The principle, circuit diagram, experimental results and its analysis are reported. Also it is found that the hysteresis loss per cycle P is smaller after correcting the magnetic flux waveform than before.  相似文献

The optimal digital nonlinear feedback control law is carried through the first power of , taking into account the non-Gaussian character of the state conditional distribution. The feedback law for a control problem with a nondifferentiable cost functional is characterized by an initial-value problem for a differential system with singular right-hand side. This system is characteristic for a partial differential equation formally satisfied by the feedback law. Titanium nitride is a hard and inert conducting material that has yet not been widely used as electrode material for electroanalytical applications although there are highly developed protocols available to produce well adherent micro and nanostructured electrodes. In this paper the possibilities of using titanium nitride thin films for electroanalytical applications is investigated. Scanning electrochemical microscope (SECM) was used for analysis of the redox kinetics of a selected fast redox couple at thin films of titanium nitride (TiN) in different thicknesses. The investigation was carried out by approaching an amperometric ultramicroelectrode (UME) to the TiN film while the soluble redox couple (ferrocenemethanol/ferrociniummethanol) served as mediator in a SECM configuration. The substrate was biased at a potential so that it rereduces the species being produced at the UME, thus controlling the feedback effect. Normalized current–distance curves were fitted to the theoretical model in order to find the apparent heterogeneous standard rate constant () at the sample. The data are further supported by structural investigation of the TiN films using scanning force microscopy and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy. It was found that the kinetics are little influenced by prolonged storage in air. The heterogeneous standard rate constants in 2 mM ferrocenemethanol were (0.73±0.05)×10?3 cm s?1 for 20 nm TiN thin layer, (1.5±0.2)×10?3 cm s?1 for 100 nm TiN thin layer and (1.3±0.2)×10?3 cm s?1 for 300 nm TiN thin layer after prolonged storage in air. Oxidative surface treatment (in order to remove organic adsorbates) decreased the kinetics in agreement with a thicker oxide layer on the material. The results suggest that their direct use for amperometric detection of reversible redox systems in particular at miniaturized configurations may be advantageous.  相似文献

This paper presents a novel adaptive nonlinear model predictive control design for trajectory tracking of flexible-link manipulators consisting of feedback lineariza-tion, linear model predictive control, and unscented Kalman filtering. Reducing the nonlinear system to a linear system by feedback linearization simplifies the optimization prob-lem of the model predictive controller significantly, which, however, is no longer linear in the presence of parame-ter uncertainties and can potentially lead to an undesired dynamical behaviour. An unscented Kalman filter is used to approximate the dynamics of the prediction model by an online parameter estimation, which leads to an adaptation of the optimization problem in each time step and thus to a better prediction and an improved input action. Finally, a detailed fuzzy-arithmetic analysis is performed in order to quantify the effect of the uncertainties on the control structure and to derive robustness assessments. The control structure is applied to a serial manipulator with two flexible links containing uncertain model parameters and acting in three-dimensional space.  相似文献

This note is concerned with the stabilization of control systems using an estimated state feedback. The global stabilization problem for a relatively broad class of nonlinear plants is discussed. Moreover, using the “input to state stability” property introduced by Sontag [1–4] and detectability condition, we show that the system can be globally asymptotically stable using a state detection.  相似文献
