In this paper, we calculate the decay rates of the D +D 0 e + ν, D S +D 0 e + ν, , D S +D + e e + and B S 0B 0 e e + semileptonic decay processes, in which only the light quarks decay, while the heavy flavors remain unchanged. The branching ratios of these decay processes are calculated with the flavor SU(3) symmetry. The uncertainties are estimated by considering the SU(3) breaking effect. We find that the decay rates are very tiny in the framework of the standard model. We also estimate the sensitivities of the measurements of these rare decays at future experiments, such as BES-III, super-B and LHC-b.  相似文献

Nanoscale ridge apertures provide a highly confined radiation spot with a high transmission efficiency when used in the near field approach. The radiation confinement and enhancement is due to the electric–magnetic field concentrated in the gap between the ridges. This paper reports the experimental demonstration of radiation enhancement using such antenna apertures and lithography of nanometer size structures. The process utilizes a NSOM (near field scanning optical microscopy) probe with a ridge aperture at the tip, and it combines the nonlinear two photon effect from femtosecond laser irradiation to achieve sub-diffraction limit lithography resolution.  相似文献

The fundamental advantages to using ultrafast (?100 fs) laser pulses in two-photon microscopy for biomedical imaging are seldom realized due to chromatic dispersion introduced by the required high numerical aperture microscope objective. Dispersion is eliminated here by using the multiphoton intrapulse interference phase scan (MIIPS) method on pulses with a bandwidth greater than 100 nm full width at half maximum. Higher fluorescence intensity, deeper sample penetration, and improved signal-to-noise ratio are demonstrated quantitatively and qualitatively. Due to the higher signal intensity obtained after MIIPS compensation, lower laser power is required, which decreases photobleaching. The observed advantages are not realized if group delay dispersion is compensated for while higher-order dispersion is not. By using a pulse shaper and taking advantage of the broad spectrum of the ultrafast laser, selective excitation of different cell organelles is achieved due to the difference in nonlinear optical susceptibility of different chromophores without requiring an emission filter wheel. Experiments on biological specimens, such as HeLa cells and mouse kidney tissue samples, illustrate the advantages to using sub-10 fs pulses with MIIPS compensation in the field of two-photon microscopy for biomedical imaging.  相似文献

When the techniques of integrating the variation of the conventional DVD,the high-density multilevel run-length pit depth and width simultaneously are adopted to limited read-only optical storage method is achieved. The dynamic range of readout signal is greatly enlarged in comparison with keeping one parameter varied, and the recording levels number can be obviously increased. The discs can be manufactured using standard photoresist mastering and replication techniques with great compatibility to conventional binary read-only discs. Experimental results show that eight-level read-only optical disc can be realized and the capacity can be increased to 20 GB.  相似文献

We propose a method for reducing the deteriorating effect of group-velocity mismatch on the frequency-doubling modelocker time response. A birefringent plate is used to introduce a time delay between the fundamental and the second-harmonic pulses which is opposite in sign to that accumulated in the frequency-doubling crystal. We report a new source of high-repetition rate and widely tunable picosecond pulses for the near infrared. A singly resonant, cw, picosecond optical parametric oscillator based on temperature-tuned LiB3O5 and synchronously pumped by 1.8 ps pulses from a self-mode-locked Ti:Sapphire laser is demonstrated. The oscillator can provide average output powers of up to 90 mW under non-critical type-I phase matching at a pulse repetition rate of 81 MHz. Without dispersion compensation, transform-limited signal pulses with 720 fs durations have been generated at 1.2 times threshold. With the available mirror set, signal tuning over 1.374–1.530 µm and idler tuning over 1.676–1.828 µm is demonstrated for a range of pump wavelengths and phase-matching temperatures. With additional mirrors, continuous tuning throughout 1–2.7 µm should be readily attainable with a single LiB3O5 crystal.  相似文献

The gene fragment (191 bp) encoding protein G IgG Fc binding domain was isolated by PCR from group G streptococcus (CMCC32138), and a clone containing this gene fragment was found to give fine reactivity to human IgG when expressed in Escherichia coli. The complete nucleotide sequence of the gene fragment was determined. One base pair differs from previously reported protein Gnucleotide sequences, and resultsin an amino acid change (Ala-Thr), but this variation makes no difference in binding to the IgG Fc part by ELISA.The secondary structure of the protein G IgG Fc binding domain has been estimated by circular dichroism and assigned by computer algorithm.It shows a typical α-helix region in this domain.By breaking this α-helix region with recombinant DNA techniques, a 44 peptide, which contained the N-terminal 27 amino acid residues of this domain, was expressed in E. coli and showed no reactivity to IgG.The hydropathicity of this domain was also analyzed and compared with that of protein A relevant  相似文献

The time and frequency features of the fluctuations are studied for a pulsed squeezed state field generated by train of pulses produced by a mode-locked laser via degenerated four wave mixing. We propose an improved balanced homodyne detection scheme, which can be used to measure simultaneously the time variation and the frequency spectrum of the noise of in one quadrature component of the pulsed squeezed state field. The explicit expressions for the intensity and the noise as functions of time and frequency are derived. The features of the intensity and noise spectra are discussed. It is shown that the variation of noise with time exhibits a pulse train with reduced noise and the frequency spectrum of the noise displays some very interesting properties.  相似文献
