In many applications of widely recognized technique, DEA, finding the most efficient DMU is desirable for decision maker. Using basic DEA models, decision maker is not able to identify most efficient DMU. Amin and Toloo [Gholam R. Amin, M. Toloo, Finding the most efficient DMUs in DEA: an improved integrated model. Comput. Ind. Eng. 52 (2007) 71–77] introduced an integrated DEA model for finding most CCR-efficient DMU. In this paper, we propose a new integrated model for determining most BCC-efficient DMU by solving only one linear programming (LP). This model is useful for situations in which return to scale is variable, so has wider range of application than other models which find most CCR-efficient DMU. The applicability of the proposed integrated model is illustrated, using a real data set of a case study, which consists of 19 facility layout alternatives.  相似文献

A modern distribution network design model needs to deal with the trade-offs between a variety of factors, including (1) location and associated (fixed) operating cost of distribution centers (DCs), (2) total transportation costs, and (3) storage holding and replenishment costs at DCs and retail outlets. In addition, network design models should account for factors such as (4) stockouts, by setting appropriate levels of safety stocks, or (5) capacity concerns, which may affect operating costs in the form of congestion costs. The difficulty of making such trade-offs is compounded by the fact that even finding the optimal two-echelon inventory policy in a fixed and uncapacitated distribution network is already a hard problem. In this paper, we propose a generic modeling framework to address these issues that continues and extends a recent stream of research aimed at integrating insights from modern inventory theory into the supply chain network design domain. Our approach is flexible and general enough to incorporate a variety of important side constraints into the problem.  相似文献

The location of path-shaped facilities on trees has been receiving a growing attention in the specialized literature in the recent years. Examples of such facilities include railroad lines, highways and public transit lines. Most of the papers deal with the problem of locating a path on a tree by minimizing either the maximum distance from the vertices of the tree to the facility or of minimizing the sum of the distances from all the vertices of the tree to the path. However, neither of the two above criteria alone capture all essential elements of a location problem. The sum of the distances criterion alone may result in solutions which are unacceptable from the point of view of the service level for the clients who are located far away from the facilities. On the other hand, the criterion of the minimization of the maximum distance, if used alone, may lead to very costly service systems. In the literature, there is just one paper that considers the problem of finding an optimal location of a path on a tree using combinations of the two above criteria, and efficient algorithms are provided. In particular, the cases where one criterion is optimized subject to a restriction on the value of the other are considered and linear time algorithms are presented. However, these problems do not consider any bound on the length or cost of the facility. In this paper we consider the two following problems: find a path which minimizes the sum of the distances such that the maximum distance from the vertices of the tree to the path is bounded by a fixed constant and such that the length of the path is not greater than a fixed value; find a path which minimizes the maximum distance with the sum of the distances being not greater than a fixed value and with bounded length. From an application point of view the constraint on the length of the path may refer to a budget constraint for establishing the facility. The restriction on the length of the path complicates the two problems but for both of them we give O(n log2 n) divide-and-conquer algorithms.  相似文献

This paper investigates variability in the occurrence of different event sequences on an annual basis during the operation of a proposed nuclear facility. During the operational period of a nuclear facility, the annual radiological dose received by workers or members of the public depends on the number of event sequence occurrences. Based on the facility design, some combinations of event sequences will be expected to occur at least once during the operational period, and some combinations will not. This paper provides analytical solutions for calculating the expected number of combinations of independent event sequences. These analytical solutions agree with numerical solutions for an example problem. Although uncertainties can be incorporated into the method, only point-estimate parameter values are used in the example problem presented. The main objectives of this paper are to present calculational approaches to (i) identify which combinations of event sequences within the same year are expected to occur at least once during the operational life of a proposed facility and (ii) determine the annual doses from those identified combinations. Facility performance based on some proposed design is evaluated against the operational dose limits. Because the operational dose limits tend to be annual quantities that may not be exceeded in any year of operation, calculation of the doses resulting from combinations of event sequences that are expected to occur at least once can provide insight on the maximum annual dose expected during the operation of a proposed facility.  相似文献

We examine voting location problems in which the goal is to place, based on an election amongst the users, a given number of facilities in a graph. The user preference is modeled by shortest path distances in the graph. A Condorcet solution is a set of facilities to which there does not exist an alternative set preferred by a majority of the users. RF cold test of a novel C-band cavity beam position monitor (PBM) to be used in the SDUVFEL Test Facility is described.The test results are presented and some characteristics discussed.The main parameters obtained are in reasonable agreement with the analytical estimations.Effective suppression of the common mode has been demonstrated.The position sensitivity over the test region of±0.5 mm is about -21.58 dB/10 μm for the TM110 mode and is linear in the central region of the BPM cavity.  相似文献

新一代粒子加速器中磁铁位置与姿态的准确测量和安装依赖于各项技术的综合运用。实现磁铁在全局坐标系中准确定位,并且快速精密安装测量,为了建造高亮度、低发射度的第四代同步辐射光源,国家同步辐射实验室开展了“合肥先进光源(HALF)”的预研工作。作为准直测量系统的重要研究内容,创新性地提出了准直参考网络方法。为了保证准直测量精度,对准直参考网络的机械系统本身的形变要求很高,通过ANSYS软件对机械系统整机进行了静力学仿真,根据分析结果对准直基准板进行了优化设计,使其满足工作条件要求。  相似文献
