The paper demonstrates conceptual parallels and relationships between intellectual capital measurement methods and the evaluation of quality in clinical laboratories in the Slovak Republic. It explores further the contextual links of those parallels with the tangibility (or intangibility) of quality indicators of laboratory diagnostics. The rotary motion of the F0 part of the F0F1-ATPase motor that synthesizes the ATP molecules used by the intracellular stepping motors, such as kinesins, is modeled within a stochastically fluctuating medium via the application of the Langevin dynamics wherein the random intramembrane fluctuations are represented by a white noise. We have investigated the influence of an applied electric field and an applied electric current on this rotary motion, and the subsequent production rate of the ATP molecules. It is seen that the application of a field, or a current, changes both the elastic behavior of the cell membrane and the transmembrane potential. These changes in turn transform the dynamics of the F0 part of the motor. We have found that at low fields, the role of transmembrane potential becomes significant in the production rate of the ATP molecules, whereas at high fields the changes induced in the surface tension of the membrane also contribute to the production rate of the ATP.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose a design method of guaranteed cost controllers for uncertain large-scale systems with time delays in subsystem interconnections using delayed feedback. Using the Lyapunov method, a linear matrix inequality (LMI) optimization problem is formulated to design a delayed feedback controller which minimizes the upper bound of a given quadratic cost function. A series of(Si_O2/MgO/ID/MgCl_2)·TiClx Ziegler-Natta catalysts for propylene polymerization has been prepared with a new method. These catalysts were synthesized using soluble Mg-compounds as the Mg-source and the preparation progress was relatively simple. The catalyst could copy the spherical shape of the carrier very well. The propylene polymerization results showed that the catalyst revealed the best activity with 9,9-di(methoxymethyl)fluorene(BMMF) as internal donor at 50 °C with the optimal molar ratio Al/Ti = 5, which was much lower than what the industrial polypropylene catalyst used(at least molar ratio Al/Ti = 100), resulting in great cost saving. Additionally, the polymerization kinetics of the catalyst exhibited very stable property after achieving a relatively high value. These catalysts possessed rather high activity and good hydrogen response. The isotactic index(Ⅱ.) value of the PP products could be higher than 98% in the presence of both internal and external electron donors. Moreover, temperature rising elution fractionation method was used to understand the influence of donors and H2 on the properties of the PP products.  相似文献

<正>Poly(maleic anhydride-coacrylic acid),P(MA-AA),was synthesized by the free-radical copolymerization of maleic anhydride with acrylic acid,and fast responsive pH-sensitive poly(maleic anhydride-co-acrylic acid)/polyethylene glycol,P(MA-AA)/PEG,hydrogels were prepared using PEG as macromolecular cross-linking agent.FT-IR and ~1H-NMR spectrometry were applied to characterize the structure of P(MA-AA).The influences of pH and ionic strength on the swelling behavior of P(MA-AA)/PEG hydrogels and the swelling-deswelling changes along with the repeated changes between acid and alkali conditions were studied.The results showed that there was a hundredfold difference in the swelling ratios between the conditions of acid and alkali,and the swelling capability could not be weakened after multiple swelling-deswelling cycles.The results of swelling kinetics demonstrated that the response rate of P(MA-AA)/PEG hydrogels was very fast,because the swelling transition points always occurred at 10 min.The pH-responsive hydrogels reported here might be a smart material for potentially applications in many areas,including biosensors,drug-delivery devices and tissue engineering.  相似文献

This paper presents a multicarrier communication system which transmits information on independent subcarriers to achieve an increased data rate. For this system, a passive-phase conjugation (PPC) based receiver structure is assessed by processing data collected in sea trials. Based on temporal diversity (pulse compression) exploited by PPC processing, an adaptive multichannel decision feedback equalizer is used to remove intersymbol interference, where spatial diversity is exploited by adaptive multichannel combination. The digital phase-locked loop (DPLL) technique is implemented for carrier-phase tracking. In the scenario of low input signal-to-noise ratios (SNRs), the receiver structure achieved superior performance using a common DPLL. In a depth-fluctuated environment, two sea experiments were conducted over ranges of 2 km and 4 km, respectively, and this communication system was assessed with a data rate of 4 kbps. In terms of mean square error, output SNR and bit error rate, this receiver structure has demonstrated its performance for the multicarrier communication system.  相似文献

Increasing the knowledge in climate radiative feedbacks is critical for current climate studies. This work focuses on short-term relationships between global mean surface temperature and top-of-atmosphere (TOA) net radiation. The relationships may be used to characterize the climate feedback as suggested by some recent studies. As those recent studies, an energy balance model with ocean mixed layer and both radiative and non-radiative heat sources is used here. The significant improvement of current model is that climate system memories are considered.Based on model simulations, short-term relationship between global mean surface temperature and TOA net radiation (or the linear striation feature as suggested by previous studies) might represent climate feedbacks when the system had no memories. However, climate systems with the same short-term feedbacks but different memories would have a similar linear striation feature. This linear striation feature reflects only fast components of climate feedbacks and may not represent the total climate feedback even when the memory length of climate systems is minimal. The potential errors in the use of short-term relationships in estimations of climate sensitivity could be big. In short time scales, fast climate processes may overwhelm long-term climate feedbacks. Thus, the climate radiative feedback parameter obtained from short-term data may not provide a reliable estimate of climate sensitivity. This result also suggests that long-term observations of global surface temperature and TOA radiation are critical in the understanding of climate feedbacks and sensitivities.  相似文献

We have reported a modified V-shaped external cavity, which is constructed around a commercial diode laser operating at a center wavelength of λ=785 nm by adding a new coated glass plate with about 50% reflectivity to the cavity. This allows simultaneous dual-wavelengths operation in the vicinity of Δνmin=0.18 THz to Δνmax=0.22 THz, which can be used as laser source for terahertz generation either for semiconductor devices or nonlinear schemes.  相似文献

We proposed and simulatedly demonstrated a novel full-duplex radio-over-fiber system using an external modulator and an optical interleaver to generate dual quadrupling-frequency optical millimeter waves for carrying two base station downstream data and wavelength reuse for uplink connection. The simulation results reveal that the power penalties for the downstream and upstream signals of both base stations are less than 0.8 dB. In this new scheme, the configuration of the both base stations is simplified further because there is no additional laser at two base stations. The frequency of local oscillator signal is reduced due to frequency quadrupling. The cost of the new system is largely reduced.  相似文献
