Non-existence of a massive scalar field for the Marder universe in Lyra and Riemannian geometries

In this paper, we have studied a massive scalar field for a Marder type universe in the context of Lyra and Riemannian geometries. From the exact solutions obtained we show that the massive scalar field does not survive in Lyra and Riemannian geometries for an anisotropic Marder type universe. Therefore we have solved the massless scalar field problem in Lyra and Riemann geometries for two cases. Also we have obtained vacuum solutions for homogeneous and anisotropic Marder space-time in Lyra geometry and the solutions obtained are compared by considering Lyra and Riemann geometries. Finally, some physical and kinematical properties are discussed by using graphics.     

Dilaton Black Hole Tunneling Radiation in de Sitter Universe

The Hawking radiation via tunneling from the dilaton black hole in de Sitter universe is investigated using Parikh Wilczek＇s method. We show that if the self-gravitational interaction and energy conservation are taken into account, the modified radiation spectrum deviates from exact thermal spectrum and satisfies the unitary theory.     

Some Magnetized Bulk Viscous String Cosmological Models in Cylindrically Symmetric Inhomogeneous Universe with Variable ∧-Term

Some cylindrically symmetric inhomogeneous viscous fluid string cosmological models with magnetic field and cosmological term A varying with time are investigated. To get the deterministic solution, it has been assumed that the expansion （θ） in the model is proportional to the eigen value σ^11 of the shear tensor σ^ij. The value of cosmological constant for the model is found to be small and positive, which is supported by the results from recent supernovae Ia observations. The effect of bulk viscosity is to produce a change in perfect fluid and hence exhibits essential influence on the character of the solution. The physical and geometric properties of the models are also discussed in presence and absence of magnetic field.     

Quantum Creation of Closed Universe with Both Effects of Tunnelling and Well

A new “twice loose shoe“ method in the Wheeler-DeWitt equation of the universe wavefunction on the cosmic scale factor a and a scalar field φ is suggested,We analyze both the affections coming from the tunnelling effect of α and the potential well effect of φ,and obtain the initial values α0 about a primary closed universe which is born with the largest probability in the quantum manner,Our result is able to overcome the “large field difficulty“ of the universe quantum creation probabiltiy with only tunnelling effect.This new born universe has to suffer a startup of inflation,and then comes into the usual slow rolling inflation.The universe with the largest probalility maybe has a “gentle“ inflation of an eternal chaotic infltion.this depends on a new parameter q which describes the tunnelling character.     

The Inflationary Solutions with O(2,2) Duality Symmetry in String Cosmologies

The low energy duality string model is investicated in time-dependent metric, torsion, dilaton background fields and potential fields, the inflationary solutions for string cosmologies are obtained when the space-time dimension is D = 3. It is found that the new cosmological solutions can be generated through O(d, d) duality transformations.

 对爆磁压缩发生器中爆炸管2维动力学简化模型进行了模拟计算,分析表明：径向膨胀速度会随径向位置（或者时间）的变化而变化,因此膨胀角也会随径向位置（或者时间）发生变化。对各时间点（或位置点）处的膨胀速度进行了平均,求得理论上的平均膨胀速度,再将该平均膨胀速度与实验测量值进行了比较。模拟结果给出了径向膨胀速度受到端头效应影响的情况,这可为改进实验结果提供参考。由于径向速度与轴向速度的比值一般在5以上,用作爆炸管的物质质量越大,这一比值就越大,因此选择密度较大的金属材料作为爆炸管,可减少滑移。应用2D简化模型计算出的膨胀角数值,与Gurney模型以及1D模型进行了比较,它们之间的差别可能主要来自2D效应。     

New Solutions to Einstein's Equations in the Taub Universe and Their Accelerating Stage

Following a specific strategy in which the cosmological time variables are operated upon, a new family of solutions to the empty Taub universe is found. Among the characteristics of such a family, it stands the positive acceleration provided by the tri-curvature property of this universe to two of the three scale factors of the Taub model. This effect of the tri-curvature results not in a restoring force such as normal gravity but in the conversion of the Taub cosmology into an accelerating universe.

For an oscillating universe, the assumptions of wave-function localization and approximate symmetry for the initial and final states impose restrictions on the intermediate motion. We argue that one of these restrictions is the avoidance of superpositions of macroscopically distinct states.     

Phase Transitions for Uniformly Expanding Maps

Given a uniformly expanding map of two intervals we describe a large class of potentials admitting unique equilibrium measures. This class includes all Hölder continuous potentials but goes far beyond them. We also construct a family of continuous but not Hölder continuous potentials for which we observe phase transitions. This provides a version of the example in (9) for uniformly expanding maps.
