We show that static properties like the charge radius and the magnetic moment of relativistic three-fermion bound states with
instantaneous interactions can be formulated as expectation values with respect to intrinsically defined wave functions. The
resulting operators can be given a natural physical interpretation in accordance with relativistic covariance. We also indicate
how the formalism may be generalized to arbitrary moments. The method is applied to the computation of static baryon properties
with numerical results for the nucleon charge radii and the baryon octet magnetic moments. In addition, we make predictions
for the magnetic moments of some selected nucleon resonances and discuss the decomposition of the nucleon magnetic moments
in contributions of spin and angular momentum, as well as the evolution of these contributions with decreasing quark mass. 相似文献

Possible errors in the widely used 1972–1973 macroscopic original-electric-modulus formalism are identified, corrected, and their consequences considered. These errors include misidentification of the high-frequency-limiting dielectric constant arising entirely from mobile charges, εC1∞, and the failure to treat properly the high-frequency-limiting dielectric constant associated with bulk dipolar and vibrionic effects, εD∞. It is shown that the corrected modulus formalism, which describes dispersed mobile-charge effects, is isomorphic in form with the 1973 microscopic continuous-time random-walk hopping model of Scher and Lax after a minor but significant correction is made to the latter's response function. This firmly established correction, which nevertheless could not be determined by Kronig–Kramers transformation, involved inversion of synthetic frequency-response data to determine a distribution of relaxation times and led to extension of the real part of the Scher–Lax dielectric response to higher frequencies by the inclusion of a nonzero limiting value. This isomorphism, along with excellent data fitting using the corrected modulus formalism, suggests that since the Scher–Lax stochastic model involves no explicit Coulomb interactions, cation motion in glasses is dominated by short-range interactions. Finally, two very-high-frequency processes, which each lead to a limiting plateau value of the real part of the conductivity at sufficiently high frequencies, are discussed in detail. 相似文献

Microlens arrays and microoptical components in general are integral components in a wide range of high-tech products. The ability to fabricate such elements cheaply and with a high degree of accuracy is vital for the development of the next generation of optics-based technologies. There are currently a wide range of microoptical element fabrication technologies. These techniques all have advantages and disadvantages and no one technique is yet sufficient to meet all possible application criteria. One method that has been examined recently is the ink-jet deposition method. This method applies well-established ink-jet printer technology and is thus one possible candidate for large-scale fabrication of inexpensive components. The lenses fabricated using this method are normally found to have spherical profiles. In this paper, we examine the possibility of modifying the profile of these spherical lenses using an applied electric field (E-field). We note that the resulting aspheric lenses have a wide number of applications. These include beam shaping and power transfer applications including fiber coupling. In this paper we describe initial experiments involving single lenses. The single lenses produced using applied E-Fields differ significantly from lenses produced with no applied E-field. 相似文献

The optimization problem in this paper is targeted at large-scale hydrothermal power systems. The thermal part of the system is a multi-area power pool with tie-line constraints, and the hydro part is a set of cascaded hydrostations. The objective is to minimize the operation cost of the thermal subsystem. This is an integer nonlinear optimization process with a large number of variables and constraints. In order to obtain the optimal solution in a reasonable time, we decompose the problem into thermal and hydro subproblems. The coordinator between these subproblems is the system Lagrange multiplier. For the thermal subproblem, in a multi-area power pool, it is necessary to coordinate the area generations for reducing the operation cost without violating tie limits. For the hydro subsystem, network flow concepts are adopted to coordinate water usage over the entire study time span, and the reduced gradient method is used to overcome the linear characteristic of the network flow method in order to obtain the optimal solution. In this study, load forecasting errors and forced outages of generating units are incorporated in system reliability requirements. Three case studies for the proposed method are presented. 相似文献

The effect of electrolyte conductivity on the partial arc discharge development between two electrolyte electrodes on a silicone rubber sheet surface was investigated. Tests were executed by placing the salt-waterlogged glass-filter paper on a silicone rubber sheet to simulate a polluted electrolyte layer, and partial arc discharges with a constant current value of 10 mA were observed. It was found that the formation of an arc channel and a temperature distribution on the sample surface varied with the electrolyte conductivity. In addition, the relation between the electrolyte conductivity and the weight loss due to the heat erosion of specimens was also investigated by a 3D morphological observation and a simulated calculation. The partial arc discharge did significantly not influence on the sample surface erosion under serious polluted conditions. In contrast, the severest erosion appeared under the light pollution with comparatively lower conductivity of the electrolyte electrodes. 相似文献

A root-mean-square error is used as the criterion of the fuzzy model's adequacy to the real system. A number of mathematical operations necessary for the implementation of the fuzzy model are used as the criterion by which the fuzzy model's applicability if estimated from the point of view of computing techniques.
