2-Dimension from the Topological Viewpoint

In this paper we study the 2-dimension of a finite poset from the topological point of view. We use homotopy theory of finite topological spaces and the concept of a beat point to improve the classical results on 2-dimension, giving a more complete answer to the problem of all possible 2-dimensions of an n-point poset.

Proof of the Mixing Theorem for Statistical Systems in Classical Physics

In a general measure-theoretic context, it is proved that the action of a stochastic map on a pair of probability distributions can be characterized by the criterion of decreasing mixing distance.     

The measure of a translated ball in uniformly convex spaces

Let (E, ¦·¦) be a uniformly convex Banach space with the modulus of uniform convexity of power type. Let be the convolution of the distribution of a random series inE with independent one-dimensional components and an arbitrary probability measure onE. Under some assumptions about the components and the smoothness of the norm we show that there exists a constant such that |{·<t}–{·+r<t}|r ^q , whereq depends on the properties of the norm. We specify it in the case ofL spaces, >1.     

Calculus I: The first derivative of pseudoisotopy theory

Let P be the (stable, smooth) pseudoisotopy space of the space X. For any map Y: YX of spaces, we identify the homotopy type of the fiber of P(f): P(f) P(f) in a stable range, roughly twice the connectivity of the map YX. We establish some language for discussing and manipulating such stable-range relative calculations for any homotopy functor. The theorem about P has a corollary about Waldhausen's A. Optimality for set functions with values in ordered vector spaces

Let (X, , ) be a finite atomless measure space,L a convex subfamily of , andY andZ locally convex Hausdorff topological vector spaces which are ordered by the conesC andD, respectively. LetF:LY beC-convex andG:LZ beD-convex set functions. Consider the following optimization problem (P): minimizeF(), subject to L andG() _D . The paper generalizes the Moreau-Rockafellar theorem with set functions. By applying this theorem, a Kuhn-Tucker type optimality condition and a Fritz John type optimality condition for problem (P) are established. New Results on Generalized $c$-Distance Without Continuity in Cone $b$-Metric Spaces over Banach Algebras

In this work, some new fixed point results for generalized Lipschitz mappings on generalized $c$-distance in cone $b$-metric spaces over Banach algebras are obtained, not acquiring the condition that the underlying cone should be normal or the mappings should be continuous. Furthermore, the existence and the uniqueness of the fixed point are proven for such mappings. These results greatly improve and generalize several well-known comparable results in the literature. Moreover, some examples and an application are given to support our new results.     

Some Estimates for $θ$-Type Calderόn–Zygmund Operators and Linear Commutators on Certain Weighted Amalgam Spaces

In this paper, we first introduce some new kinds of weighted amalgam spaces. Then we discuss the strong type and weak type estimates for a class of Calderόn–Zygmund type operators $T_θ$ in these new weighted spaces. Furthermore, the strong type estimate and endpoint estimate of linear commutators $[b, T_θ]$ formed by $b$ and $T_θ$ are established. Also we study related problems about two-weight, weak type inequalities for $T_θ$ and $[b, T_θ]$ in the weighted amalgam spaces and give some results.
