Based on an extensively study of the Dyson-Schwinger equations for a fully dressed quark propagator in the “rainbow“ approximation, a parametrized fully dressed quark propagator is proposed in this paper. The parametrized propagator describes a confining quark propagator in hadron since it is analytic everywhere in complex p2-plane and has no Lemmann representation. The validity of the new propagator is discussed by comparing its predictions on selfenergy functions Af(p2), Bf(p2) and effective mass Mf(p2) of quark with flavor f to their corresponding theoretical results produced by Dyson-Schwinger equations. Our comparison shows that the parametrized quark propagator is a good approximation to the fully dressed quark propagator given by the solutions of Dyson-Schwinger equations in the rainbow approximation and is convenient to use in any theoretical calculations.  相似文献

We complete the derivation of the Cornwall-Jackiw-Tomboulis effective potential for quark propagator at finite temperature and finite quark chemical potential in the real-time formalism of thermal field theory and in Landau gauge. In the approximation that the function A(p2) in inverse quark propagator is replaced by unity, by means of the running gauge coupling and the quark mass function invariant under the renormalization group in zero temperature Quantum Chromadynamics (QCD), we obtain a calculable expression for the thermal effective potential, which will be a useful means to research chiral phase transition in QCD in the real-time formalism.  相似文献

The exact short time propagator, in a form similar to the Crank-Nicholson method but in the spirit of spectrally transformed Hamiltonian, was proposed to solve the triatomic reactive time-dependent schrödinger equation. This new propagator is exact and unconditionally convergent for calculating reactive scattering processes with large time step sizes. In order to improve the computational efficiency, the spectral difference method was applied. This resulted the Hamiltonian with elements confined in a narrow diagonal band. In contrast to our previous theoretical work, the discrete variable representation was applied and resulted in full Hamiltonian matrix. As examples, the collision energy-dependent probability of the triatomic H+H2 and O+O2 reaction are calculated. The numerical results demonstrate that this new propagator is numerically accurate and capable of propagating the wave packet with large time steps. However, the efficiency and accuracy of this new propagator strongly depend on the mathematical method for solving the involved linear equations and the choice of preconditioner.  相似文献

A class of continuous renormalization group flows with a dynamical adjustment of the propagator is introduced and studied theoretically for fermionic and bosonic quantum field theories. The adjustment allows to include self–energy effects nontrivially in the denominator of the propagator and to adapt the scale decomposition to a moving singularity, and hence to define flows of Fermi surfaces in a natural way. These flows require no counterterms, but the counterterms used in earlier treatments can be constructed using them. The influence of propagator adjustment on the strong–coupling behaviour of flows is examined for a simple example, and some conclusions about the strong coupling behaviour of renormalization group flows are drawn.  相似文献

There exists a large local relative orbital angular momentum between produced partons along the direction opposite to the reaction plane in the early stage of non-central heavy-ion collisions. This initial local orbital angular momentum can lead to quark polarization along the same direction due to spin-orbital coupling in QCD. We present the quark polarization by using hard thermal loop gluon propagator for quark-quark scattering in quark-gluon plasma and compare it with the result obtained from the static potential model.  相似文献

NMR imaging and one- and two-dimensional self-diffusion propagator measurements of the liquid phase in salt water ice are presented. The properties of the network of brine-filled pores are found to depend on the growth conditions of the ice. Two types of samples are compared: (a) shock-frozen ice produced in the probe in situ and (b) ice grown over several hours under controlled conditions. By shock-freezing, an ice structure could be produced which featured streak-like porous channels of diameters of up to 300 μm allowing almost unrestricted self-diffusion along one preferential axis but reduced diffusivities in the remaining directions. In ice grown under controlled conditions, the pore sizes are near the resolution limit of the imaging experiment of typically 50 μm. For this type of samples, strongly non-Gaussian self-diffusion propagators are obtained, indicating restricted self-diffusion on rms scales of 30 μm. Common to all samples was the observation of highly anisotropic self-diffusion. One- and two-dimensional propagators are compared in order to estimate the degree of anisotropy and the size of the restrictions.  相似文献

Based on the parameterized fully dressed quark propagator proposed by us, the tensor susceptibilities of QCD vacuum and quark vacuum condensates are investigated. Our predicted values of the tensor susceptibilities are in agreement with those predicted by many other theoretical models with QCD feature. The results also show that the tensor susceptibility of QCD vacuum strongly depends on flavor of quark but not sensitive to variation of quark vacuum condensates. However, the quark vacuum condensate is very sensitive to the change of cut-off-parameter μ^2 of the integration, that is, it depends on the separation point of perturbative and non-perturbative QCD region. The successful predictions clearly indicate the extensive validity of our parameterized fully dressed quark propagator used here.  相似文献

Based on the Dyson-Schwinger equations in raAnbow approximation for quark propagator with an effective gluon propagator, and on the parametrized fully dressed quark propagator proposed by us, the unknown GasserLeutwyler coeiticients of the chiral Lagrangian for pseudoscalar Goldstone bosons, Li, are predicted respectively. The predicted values of Li in the two different ways are not only in reasonable agreement each other but also in agreement with empirical values used widely in literature and the values predicted by many other theoretical models with QCD characteristics. The compatible results of Gasser-Leutwyler coefficients predicted by our parameterized quark propagator, in turn, clearly verify its extensive validity.  相似文献

In this paper we obtain a propagator of path integral for a harmonic oscillator and a driven harmonic oscillator by using the power series expansion. It is shown that our result for the harmonic oscillator is more exact than the previous one obtained with other approximation methods. By using the same method, we obtain a propagator of path integral for the driven harmonic oscillator, which does not have any exact expansion. The more exact propagators may improve the path integral results for these systems.  相似文献

The invariant, propagator, and wavefunction for a variable frequency harmonic oscillator in an electromagnetic field are obtained by making a specific coordinate transformation and by using the method of phase space path integral method.
