滚摆运动的研究

从实验和理论上研究了滚摆的运动,得到了滚摆滚动最大高度和滚动时间随滚动次数的变化关系。揭示了空气阻力及摆线间摩擦力等因素对滚摆运动的影响及其引起的系统机械能损失。     

具有Manning-Rosen标量势与矢量势的Klein-Gordon方程的任意l波束缚态近似解析解

在球坐标系中研究了具有离心项的Manning-Rosen型标量势与矢量势的Klein-Gordon方程.在标量势等于矢量势的条件下,运用合适的指数近似将具有离心项的径向Klein-Gordon方程转化成超几何微分方程,从而获得了系统的任意l波Klein-Gordon方程解析束缚态径向波函数.最后,对l=0和α=0或1两种特殊情况进行了简单讨论.     

Analysis to Some Solutions Obtained by Modified Extended tanh-Function Method＊

First, two tanh-coth type solutions of a class of nonlinear wave equation are derived by using a simplified modified extended tanh-function method. Then, further analysis to some tanh-coth type solutions of nonlinear evolution equations are given. The results show that when balance number m is one or two, the tanh-eoth type solutions obtained by the modified extended tanh-funetion method can be obtained by using the hyperbolic-function method.

Optimal reactions for synthesis of nuclides of element 108

The cross sections for the production of nuclides of element 108 via hot fusion evaporation reactions are studied using a two-parameter Smoluchowski equation. The optimal reactions for the synthesis of new nuclides of element 108 with mass numbers from 266 to 271 are suggested. The macroscopic-microscopic approach predicts a strong deformed shell closure at Z \approx 108 and N=162. The synthesis of more nuclides of element 108 is meaningful to the confirmation of the existence of this deformed shell closure.     

Inverse Scattering Transform for the Derivative Nonlinear Schrodinger Equation

Since the Jost solutions of the derivative nonlinear Schrodinger equation do not tend to the free Jost solutions, when the spectral parameter tends to infinity（｜A｜→∞）, the usual inverse scattering transform （IST） must be revised. If we take the parameter κ = λ^-1 as the basic parameter, the Jost solutions in the limit of ｜κ｜→∞ do tend to the free Jost solutions, hence the usual procedure to construct the equations of IST in κ-plane remains effective. After we derive the equation of IST in terms of κ, we can obtain the equation of IST in λ-plane by the simple change of parameters λ = κ^-1. The procedure to derive the equation of IST is reasonable, and attention is never paid to the function W（x） introduced by the revisions of Kaup and Newell. Therefore, the revision of Kaup and Newell can be avoided.

By using the traditional perturbation method, we obtain the nonlinear Sehrodinger equation for one-dimensional Schrodinger-Poisson system. Some of its solutions can explain previous results.     

Quantum Mechanical Study on Tunnelling and Ballistic Transport of Nanometer Si MOSFETs

Using self-consistent calculations of million-atom SchrSdinger-Poisson equations, we investigate the I-V characteristics of tunnelling and ballistic transport of nanometer metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistors （MOSFET） based on a full 3-D quantum mechanical simulation under nonequilibtium condition. Atomistic empirical pseudopotentials are used to describe the device Hamiltonian and the underlying bulk band structure. We find that the ballistic transport dominates the I-V characteristics, whereas the effects of tunnelling cannot be neglected with the maximal value up to 0.8mA/μm when the channel length of MOSFET scales down to 25 nm. The effects of tunnelling transport lower the threshold voltage Vt. The ballistic current based on fully 3-D quantum mechanical simulation is relatively large and has small on-off ratio compared with results derived from the calculation methods of Luo et al.
