A second‐derivative spectrophotometric method based on zero‐crossing over technique is developed in simultaneous determination of copper(II) and nickel(II) ions. Methylthymol blue (MTB) as a chromogenic reagent and cetyltrimethylammonium bromide as a surfactant were used, and measurements were carried out in buffered solution at pH 6 and at a temperature of 25 °C. The amplitude of derivative spectra was measured at wavelengths of 631.9 and 587.7 nm for the simultaneous determination of Ni2+ and Cu2+, respectively. Linearity was obtained in the range of 0.5–5.0 μg mL?1 for both ions in the presence of 0.0–5.0 μg mL?1 of the other ion as an interfering ion. IUPAC detection limits for Cu2+ and Ni2+ ions were obtained at 0.48 and 0.43 μg mL?1, respectively. The proposed procedure has been applied successfully for the simultaneous determination of copper and nickel in synthetic binary mixtures and real samples. 相似文献

A procedure has been developed for the direct fourth derivative spectrophotometric determination of zinc(II) dimethyldithiocarbamate by converting it into its copper(II) dimethyldithiocarbamate complex, which is then dissolved in Triton X-100. Beer's law is obeyed over the concentration range 0.5–30?µg/mL in the final solution. Various parameters such as the effect of pH and the interference of a number of ions on the determination of Ziram have been studied in detail. The method is sensitive and can be used for the determination of Ziram in commercial samples like Zirax and Ziron containing Ziram and from wheat grains. 相似文献

Catecholamines are biogenic compounds that perform a variety of vital functions, playing a key physiological role in humans and animals. They are important markers in diagnosis of diseases and dysfunctions as well as widespread components of pharmaceutical formulations. Therefore, development of highly sensitive, rapid, and economically efficient methods for the determination of catecholamines is of great interest. The spectroscopic analytical methods have a good potential in this respect. This mini-review summarizes in a concise manner some advances and trends in the determination of catecholamines by spectroscopic methods, including spectrophotometry, fluorescence spectroscopy, immunoassays with spectroscopic detection, Raman spectroscopy, and other methods. Information on mainly determined compounds and analyzed samples is given and discussed. Abstract The principal aim of this research was the standardization of a spectrophotometric method using the reaction with ferric ion for quantitative determination of these substances in pharmaceutical preparations. By reaction with ferric ion chlorpromazine gave a pink compound with maximum absorption at 525 nm. the violet product obtained by the reaction with ferric ion and levomepromazine had a maximum at 565 nm. Beer's law was obeyed in a wide range of concentrations for both compounds. the method was applied to simulated and commercially available samples. the efficiency of the method was confirmed by recovery tests. 相似文献
