Nontransversality of the gluon polarization tensor in a chromomagnetic background field

We investigate the problem of the transversality of the gluon polarization tensor in a homogeneous Abelian chromomagnetic background field. Using the Slavnov-Taylor identities, we rederive the nontransversality known from a one-loop calculation in the Feynman gauge. In addition, we generalize the whole procedure to an arbitrary gauge-fixing parameter ξ and calculate the ξ-dependent part of the polarization tensor. __________ Translated from Teoreticheskaya i Matematicheskaya Fizika, Vol. 148, No. 1, pp. 42–56, July, 2006.     

Simultaneous recording of fringe patterns with one camera

A novel method to separate and simultaneously record the Moiré interferometry fringe patterns of three deformation fields with only one CCD camera is developed; details of its operation principle, key points and error analysis are presented. With this technique, the deformation inU, V andW fields can be measured simultaneously, so dynamic test with comprehensive information can be performed. The advantage of this technique over other similar techniques lies in its simplicity, easy implementation and low cost. An application of this technique is given to show its feasibility. Technical problems that may be caused with this technique are also analyzed.

对倾斜入射时窄带薄膜滤光片的特性作了描述 ,由于低折射率间隔层的滤光片 ,倾斜入射时 p偏振分量的通带比s分量更移向短波 ,而高折射率间隔层的滤光片则反之 ,因此可把间隔层同时设计成高、低折射率两种材料 ,或选用适当的中间折射率材料 ,使p分量和s分量两个通带的中心波长重合。设计了用于 2 0°入射角的密集波分复用 (DWDM )滤光片 ,并给出了实验结果。     

基于内反射效应的可变光学衰减器

提出一种基于内反射原理的可变光学衰减器，这种利用一加长的棱镜和涂于棱镜上下两底面的SiO2薄膜的简单结构，使随入射角变化的反射光实现弱偏振相关和大动态范围的衰减。     

Differential capacitance between circular stacked quantum dots

We have investigated the differential capacitance between two stacked, circular quantum dots. An expression defining such differential capacitance has been derived on the basis of that for the self-capacitance of a single quantum dot. By means of a self-consistent simulation we have obtained numerical results showing that the differential capacitance between the two dots is strongly influenced by shell-filling effects, and that the classical limit of the parallel-plate capacitor is retrieved when the two dots are in close proximity. Our results represent a contribution to the effort for the definition of a capacitance matrix for a complex system of quantum dots.     

Evolution of an intense elliptically polarized electromagnetic wave in underdense plasmas

An elliptically polarized electromagnetic wave in an underdense plasma acquires a longitudinal component of the electric field which oscillates as even harmonics of the fundamental frequency. The phase shift between transverse field components and the wave amplitudes exhibit nonlinear oscillations.     

Polarization of the Fluorescence Excited in the P- and R Branches of the Vibronic Lines of Jet-Cooled Complex Molecules

A model is suggested to calculate the degree of polarization of the fluorescence of jet-cooled polyatomic molecules excited within the P- and R branches of the rotational contour of the vibronic line by light not providing resolution of the rotational structure. These dependences are calculated and compared with experimental data for molecules belonging to different types of asymmetric tops with different intramolecular orientation of the fluorescence transition dipole moment: anthracene; anthracene + Ar; 1,4-diaminoanthraquinone; indole; tetracene, and triphendioxazine.     

Calculation of the Band Intensities of the IR Spectra of Oriented Polymers

An attempt has been made to extend the theory of IR spectra of polymers to oriented polymers. Formulas for the absorption-band intensities in polarization IR spectra of oriented polymers reflecting the dependence of the polarized absorption-band intensity on the structural and orientation characteristics of polymers have been obtained. These formulas permit calculating the intensity of polarized absorption bands at different degrees of orientation of the polymer.     

缓蚀剂对金属钆在水介质中腐蚀行为的影响

采用失重法、腐蚀电化学方法研究了NaOH、NH4OH、单宁酸和苯并三氮唑等缓蚀剂对金属钆在水介质中腐蚀行为的影响。在没有缓蚀剂的情况下,钆在水中发生明显的点蚀,腐蚀速度为0.152g.m-2.h-1。NaOH能有效地控制金属钆在水介质中的腐蚀,经8880h的长时间浸泡,钆表面依然呈现明显的金属光泽,没有失重与点蚀发生。当采用NaOH调节苯并三氮唑(BTA)溶液的pH值接近中性时,钆在其中长时间浸泡,同样没有失重发生,表观没有发现点蚀发生。选择合适的缓蚀剂,使得钆能够在水介质中不发生腐蚀,保证了磁制冷机的长时间正常运转。
