Silica nanoparticles for separation of biologically active amines by capillary electrophoresis with laser-induced native fluorescence detection 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
This paper describes the analysis of biologically active amines by capillary electrophoresis (CE) in conjunction with laser-induced native fluorescence detection. In order to simultaneously analyze amines and acids as well as to achieve high sensitivity, 10 mM formic acid solutions (pH < 4.0) containing silica nanoparticles (SiNPs) were chosen as the background electrolytes. With increasing SiNP concentration, the migration times for seven analytes decrease as a result of increase in electroosmotic flow (EOF) and decrease in their electrophoretic mobilities against EOF. A small EOF generated at pH 3.0 reveals adsorption of SiNPs on the deactivated capillary wall. The decreases in electrophoretic mobilities with increasing SiNP concentration up to 0.3x indicate the interactions between the analytes and the SiNPs. Having a great sensitivity (the limits of detection at a signal-to-noise ratio (S/N) = 3 of 0.09 nM for tryptamine (TA)), high efficiency, and excellent reproducibility (less than 2.4% of the migration times), this developed method has been applied to the analysis of urinal samples with the concentrations of 0.50 +/- 0.02 microM, 0.49 +/- 0.04 microM, and 74 +/- 2 microM for TA, 5-hydroxytryptamine, and tryptophan, respectively. The successful examples demonstrated in this study open up a possibility of using functional nanoparticles for the separation of different analytes by CE. 相似文献

The potential of a microline‐imaging laser‐induced plasma spectrometry (LIPS) system for surface and depth analysis of heterogeneous solid samples in air at atmospheric pressure has been demonstrated. A pulsed Nd : YAG laser beam operating at 532 nm, with a homogeneous energy distribution (flat top laser), was used to generate a microline plasma on the sample surface. Subsequent light from the microline plasma was resolved spectrally and spatially and detected with an imaging spectrograph and an intensified charged‐coupled device detector. A patterned metal sample was chosen as the most appropriate for this study. Three‐dimensional chemical maps of Ni and Cu from the edge connectors of a printed circuit board have been obtained. With this experimental configuration, the lateral resolution (limited by crater width) was 42 µm and the spatial resolution along the spectrometer slit was 17.4 µm. Crosslinked and non-crosslinked polytetrafluoroethylene films (RX-PTFE and V-PTFE films, respectively) were irradiated by γ-ray and then grafted with styrene in liquid phase. Microscope FT-IR spectroscopy, TGA, solid state 13C CP/MAS and high resolution HS/MAS NMR spectroscopy, wide-angle X-ray diffraction (WAXD) study were used to get the structural information of the styrene grafted RX-PTFE and V-PTFE films. From microscope FT-IR spectra of the grafted RX-PTFE films, the “grafting front mechanism” was proved. TGA analysis showed that the grafted films have a small degradation step and two main degradation steps. In the 13C CP/MAS NMR spectra of the non-grafted films, there are no signal due to the absence of the hydrogen atom. While in the spectra of the grafted films, there are signals attributed to the polystyrene grafts. In the 13C HS/MAS NMR spectra of the grafted films, the relative intensity of the peaks attributed to the polystyrene grafts increased while the relative intensity of the peak attributed to PTFE matrix decreased with the increase in the DOG. From WAXD patterns, the intensity of the crystalline peak decrease with the increase in the DOG. The grafted films were sulfonated by chlorosulfonic acid and the results of highest IEC value exceeded 3.0. Those results will be reported in the near future. 相似文献

New proton exchange membranes (PEMs) were prepared by pre-irradiation induced grafting of α-methylstyrene (AMS)/styrene (STY)/divinylbenzene (DVB) into the crosslinked polytetrafluoroethylene (RX-PTFE) films and successively sulfonated. The new PEMs showed the improved glass transition temperature and chemical stability as compared with the PEMs prepared by pre-irradiation induced grafting of STY/DVB. The balance of the cost, grafting kinetic, thermal properties and the properties of the resulted proton exchange membrane is the key point of this work. 相似文献

以聚丙烯酸钠(NaPA: M_w ≈ 2100)为保护剂,对比研究了H_2还原K_2PtCl_4 和K_2PtCl_6水溶液制备纳米铂晶粒的形状选择性,揭示了前驱体的水解对纳米铂 晶粒的形状控制合成具有显著影响。文献中通常采用的合成立方形状纳米铂的 K_2PtCl_4前驱体在水溶液中不稳定,避光静置一周会析出黑色沉淀。这种不稳定 性导致了以K_2PtCl_4为Pt前驱体的合成结果难以重复。相比而言,避光静墨的 K_2PtCl_6水溶液很稳定,以它为前驱体合成的纳米铂通常为削角八面体。 K_2PtCl_6水溶液暴露于室内光线中会出现[PtCl_6]~(-2)的光致水解。当[PtCl_6] ~(2-)的紫外特征吸收峰(260nm)由于光致水解完全消失后,以聚丙烯酸钠为保护剂 ,通过H_2还原可以有选择性地(约80%)合成由{100}晶面包裹的立方体形状的纳米 铂。 相似文献

Summary The conformational possibilities of 5-(3-N,N-dimethylaminopropyl)-5H-dibenzo[a,d]cycloheptene (1), 5-(3-N,N-dimethylaminopropylidene)-10,11-dihydro-5H-dibenzo[a,d]cycloheptene (2), and 5-(3-N,N-dimethylaminopropyl)-10,11-dihydro-5H-dibenzo[a,d]cycloheptene (3) are analysed using empirical force field methods. Minimum energy conformations, interconversion pathways, interconversion graphs and interconversion energies are examined in view of the analysis of conformer equilibria of1,2, or3 in solution. In addition, some basic requirements of the analysis of fast interconverting conformers using the lanthanide induced shift method are discussed.

Zusammenfassung Die konformativen Möglichkeiten von 5-(3-N,N-dimethylaminopropyl)-5H-dibenzo[a,d]cyclohepten (1), 5-(3-N,N-dimethylaminopropylidene)-10,11-dihydro-5H-dibenzo[a,d]cyclohepten (2) und 5-(3-N,N-dimethylaminopropyl)-10,11-dihydro-5H-dibenzo[a,d]cyclohepten (3) wurden mit Hilfe empirischer Kraftfeldmethoden analysiert. Jene Konformationen, die einem energetischen Minimum entsprechen, sowie Interkonversionswege, Interkonversionsgraphen und Interkonversionsenergien wurden in Hinblick auf die Analyse der Konformerengleichgewichte von1,2 oder3 in Lösung untersucht. Weiters werden noch einige grundlegende Voraussetzungen für die Analyse von sich schnell ineinander umwandelnden Konformeren mittels der Lanthaniden-induzierten Verschiebungsmethode besprochen.相似文献

Removal of oil drops from solid surfaces immersed in an aqueous medium is of interest in many applications. It has been shown that drop shape analysis can be used to predict conditions at which the stability limit of a lighter than water oil drop on a solid surface immersed in an aqueous bath is reached (Adv. Colloid Interface Sci. 98 (2002) 265). However the above analysis is restricted to cases where the contact angle made by the drop is below 90degrees and when the surface conditions result in a 'pinned' contact line. In this paper, it is shown that drop shape analysis can be used to predict the critical conditions at which drop stability limit is reached for drop contact angles of 90degrees and above, which is encountered with 'hydrophilic' surfaces. This critical condition can predict the occurrence of partial oil drop detachment, before complete removal due to 'roll-up', which occurs when the hydrophilic surface is adequately smooth which prevents 'pinning' of the contact line. The critical conditions at which partial drop detachment occurs can also be approximately predicted from simple force balances. It has been shown (Adv. Colloid Interface Sci. 98 (2002) 265) that for contact angles less than 90degrees, the critical limit based on shape analysis appears to resolve the differences that arise due to alternate expressions for capillary retention force. This paper shows that even for contact angles above 90degrees, the critical conditions predicted from the shape analysis resolves the differences in the predictions from the alternate force balances. Drop shape analysis used in this paper is based on the 'Arc-length' form of Young-Laplace or 'drop shape' equation, which is different from the 'Y vs X' form of the above equation that is used in Adv. Colloid Interface Sci. 98 (2002) 265. The above drop shape equation is solved by a fourth order Runge-Kutta technique and it is shown that for angles less than 90degrees, the two forms of the drop shape equation, predict almost identical values of the critical Eotvos number. This paper highlights the competing effects of interfacial tension lowering induced drop instability and 'roll-up', a term that is used to describe the retraction of the contact line of an oil drop on a surface, in being the primary c ause for drop detachment. 相似文献
