Models relating the coupling coefficient of coupled circuits to their physical layout and separation are essentially empirical in nature and have, until very recently, been available exclusively for inductive systems. In this work, we propose elementary models for representing the evolution, with distance, of the coupling coefficient between two dipoles arranged in different configurations. Both the electric and magnetic coupling cases are examined. We demonstrate that in the case of electrically coupled dipoles, with due consideration for specific practical constraints, the coupling coefficient is optimal when the dipoles are asymmetrical and arranged in an axial configuration. We show that the rate of fall of coupling coefficient increases with the relative separation between the dipoles. Finally, a simple formula for estimating the range of all non-radiating resonant power transport devices is proposed. 相似文献

Chiroselective binding sites have been created on thin gold films by application of the spreader‐bar approach. Impedometric techniques and surface plasmon resonance were applied to detect binding. (R)‐(+)‐1,1′‐Binaphthyl‐2,2′‐diol (R‐BNOH) and (S)‐(?)‐1,1′‐binaphthyl‐2,2′‐diol (S‐BNOH) were used as model analytes. The artificial receptors were prepared by co‐adsorption of 16‐mercaptohexadecane (matrix) with a thiol‐modified chiral selector (template). The conjugates of D ,L ‐thioctic acid and (R)‐(+)‐ or (S)‐(?)‐1,1′‐binaphthyl‐2,2′‐diamine were used as templates. Different concentration ratios of the matrix and template were tested. No chiral selectivity of surfaces formed by either the matrix or the template alone was observed. The use of alkylthiols shorter than 16‐mercaptohexadecane led to the formation of surfaces with no chiral selectivity. The gold electrodes coated by the spreader‐bar technique displayed an enantioselectivity of up to 4.76 or up to 2.55 as measured by the capacitive and SPR methods, respectively. 相似文献

Electrocodepositions were conducted in solutions of aniline and MnSO4 through potential cycling to afford hybrid films of polyaniline (PANI) and manganese dioxide (PANI/MnO2). The films obtained displayed characteristic redox peaks of PANI on cyclic voltammograms in acidic aqueous solution. While in 1.0 M NaNO3 at pH 1, the films showed pseudocapacitive behaviors from 0 to 0.65 V vs. SCE. MnO2 was detected through XRD and XPS measurements on the films. The codeposition of PANI with MnO2 had dramatic effects on morphologies of the obtained hybrid films that displayed fibrous morphologies instead of granular one of PANI. Hybrid film PM50 obtained in the presence of 50 mM Mn2+ displayed a specific capacitance of 532 F g−1 at 2.4 mA cm−2 discharging current, 26% higher than that of similarly prepared PANI. It showed a coulombic efficiency (η) of 97.5% over 1200 cycles with 76% specific capacitance maintained. 相似文献

A new antibody immobilization strategy was proposed for the fabrication of a label-free capacitive immunosensor based on electrodeposition of nanometer-sized bioactive hydroxyapatite (HAP). By a procedure of constant current cathodal electrodeposition, a nano-HAP film with bioactivity was formed on a self-assembled β-mercaptoethanol monolayer-modified gold electrode. A suitable amount of chitosan was added into the electrodeposition solution with the aim of obtaining a strong and homogeneous HAP-coating film. After blocking with long-chain alkylthiol and then embedding antibody by coupling with divinylsulphone, the electrode was possessed of a higher initial capacitance value, which was suitable for capacitive transduction. The sensitive layer was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectrum, scanning electron microscopy and electrochemical method. Human transferrin immunoassay was selected as the testing system. The linear response range of the sensor for transferrin was between 1 and 100 ng/mL with a detection limit of 0.15 ng/mL. After simply rinsing with subacidity solution, the regenerated sensor achieved up to 10 assay cycles without significant loss of sensitivity. 相似文献

This Letter exposes an electrostatic-based vibration energy scavenging scheme using a two-layer configuration made of a high permittivity material and a low permittivity layer of variable thickness. Because of the significant change in the permittivity allowed by this process, the capacitance ratio variation is much larger than in the case of a single layer (whatever the permittivity of the latter), therefore allowing an increased efficiency and a significant energy gain, by a typical factor of 50. 相似文献
