A 1H, 13C and 15N NMR study in solution and in the solid state of six N-substituted pyrazoles and indazoles

Three N-substituted pyrazoles and three N-substituted indazoles [1-(4-nitrophenyl)-3,5-dimethylpyrazole (1), 1-(2,4-dinitrophenyl)-3,5-dimethylpyrazole (2), 1-tosyl-pyrazole (3), 1-p-chlorobenzoylindazole (4), 1-tosylinda-zole (5) and 2-(2-hydroxy-2-phenylethyl)-indazole (6)] have been studied by NMR spectroscopy in solution (1H, 13C, 15N) and in the solid state (13C, 15N). The chemical shifts have been compared with GIAO/DFT calculated absolute shieldings. Some discrepancies have been analyzed.     

Investigation of the chemical modifications of beech wood lignin during heat treatment

Holocellulose, Klason lignin and milled wood lignin (MWL) of beech wood were extracted before and after heat treatment and analysed using CP MAS ¹³C NMR, ¹³C NMR, ³¹P NMR and size exclusion chromatography (SEC). Experimental results showed that the thermal treatment degrades hemicelluloses and affects lignin polymer through depolymerisation due mainly to cleavage of β-aryl-ether linkages and recondensation reactions. The spectroscopic analysis of MWL demonstrated that these recondensation reactions involved mainly guaiacyl units through formation of 5,5′-biphenolic and diarylmethane structures.Analysis of molecular weight distribution of MWL by SEC indicated that average molecular weights of heat treated milled wood lignin were lower than those of native milled wood lignin.     

Geometrical CP violation from non-renormalisable scalar potentials

We consider in detail the non-renormalisable scalar potential of three Higgs doublets transforming as an irreducible triplet of Δ(27)$\mathrm{\Delta }(27)$ or Δ(54)$\mathrm{\Delta }(54)$. We start from a renormalisable potential that spontaneously leads to a vacuum with CP-violating phases independent of arbitrary parameters – geometrical CP violation. Then we analyse to arbitrarily high order non-renormalisable terms that are consistent with the symmetry and we demonstrate that inclusion of non-renormalisable terms in the potential can preserve the geometrical CP-violating vacuum.     

柱矢量光束的角动量性质

介绍了非近轴光束的表示理论,利用该表示理论很好地解决了非近轴光束的角动量问题,发现非近轴光束的总角动量可以严格地分解成自旋和轨道两部分,但是两者都依赖于由偏振椭圆度表征的光束的偏振状态。主要研究了柱矢量光束的角动量问题。给出了动量空间和位形空间中的柱矢量光束表达式和角动量算符表达式。通过分析两个空间中的角动量算符及柱矢量光束表达式,发现在这两种空间中,具有螺旋型相位的柱矢量光束是角动量算符沿着传播方向的分量的本征态,其本征值与偏振椭圆度无关,这为计算这类特殊光束的角动量提供了一种新方法。
