Puzzles in B physics

I discuss some puzzles observed in exclusive B-meson decays, concentrating on the large difference between the direct CP asymmetries in the B ⁰ → π⁻ K ⁼ and B ^± → π⁰ K ^± modes, the large B ⁰ → π⁰π⁰ branching ratio, and the large deviation of the mixing-induced CP asymmetries in the b → sqq penguins from those in the b → ccs trees.

固体高分辨DNP CP/MAS探头的研制及DNP实验技术的探讨

介绍了自行研制的用于动态核极化实验的固体高分辨CP/MAS探头,给出了典型含自由基固体样品的DNP增强高分辨NMR谱.并对动态核极化实验中的技术问题进行了讨论,提出了相应的解决方法.     

Search for new physics at a super-<Emphasis Type="Italic">B</Emphasis> factory

The importance of a super-B factory in the search for new physics, in particular, due to CP-odd phase(s) from physics beyond the standard model is surveyed. The first point to emphasize is that we now know how to directly measure all three angles of the unitarity triangle very cleanly, i.e. without theoretical assumptions with irreducible theory error ≲1%. However, this requires much more luminosity than is currently available atB-factories. Direct searches via penguin-dominated hadronic modes as well as radiative, pair-leptonic and semi-leptonic decays are also discussed. Null tests of the SM are stressed as these will play a crucial role especially if the effects of BSM phase(s) onB-physics are small.     

蚕丝蛋白的NMR研究Ⅱ.桑、柞蚕丝及其丝素的13C CP-MAS NMR研究

本文在Bruker AC-250和MSL-400谱仪上,首次测试了河南桑蚕茧、丝素及柞蚕黄茧、人工白茧和丝素的固态¹³C CP MAS NMR谱,归属了¹³C NMR谱线,并揭示了白茧和黄茧二级结构的差异。     

Pseudopotentials for H to Kr optimized for gradient-corrected exchange-correlation functionals

Pseudopotential parameter sets for the elements from H to Kr using the relativistic, norm-conserving, separable, dual-space Gaussian-type pseudopotentials of Goedecker, Teter, and Hutter (GTH) are presented as optimized for the gradient-corrected exchange-correlation functionals of Becke, Lee, Yang, and Parr (BLYP), Becke and Perdew (BP), and Perdew, Burke, and Ernzerhof (PBE). The accuracy and reliability of the GTH pseudopotentials is shown by calculations for a series of small molecules. Contribution to Karl Jug Honorary Issue     

Selected topics from Belle

The Belle experiment continues to explore the origin of CP violation and test all aspects of standard model inB meson decays. Recent results on CP violating paramter sin2ф₁ and other measurements are presented.     

D0-D-0 mixing and CP violation at BES-Ⅲ

Recently, both BaBar and Belle experiments found evidences of neutral D mixing. In this paper, we discuss the sensitivities of the measurements of D mixing parameters at BES-Ⅲ. With CP tag technique at ψ(3770) peak, the extraction of the strong phase difference in D0→Kπ decay at BES-Ⅲ are discussed. We also make an estimate on the measurements of the mixing rate RM by using the coherent data at ψ(3770) peak. The CP violation in D system is predicted with an unobserved level in the Standard Model. Any significant CP violation in the D system indicates the existence of new physics. The sensitivity of the measurements of CP violation in the D system is estimated in the coherent D decays. Finally, the search for the rare D decays are discussed, in which some of the forbidden decays are smoking gun of new physics.     

Measurements of D0-D-0 mixing and searches for CP violation: HFAG combination of all data

We present world average values for D0- mixing parameters x and y, CP violation parameters |q/P| and Arg(q/p), and strong phase differences δ and δKππ. These values are calculated by the Heavy Flavor Averaging Group (HFAG) by performing a global fit to relevant experimental measurements. The results for x and y differ significantly from zero and are inconsistent with no mixing at the level of 6.7σ. The results for |q/P| and Arg(q/p) are consistent with no CP violation. The strong phase difference δ is less than 45° at 95% C.L.
