Structural Phase Transformations of ZnS Nanocrystalline Under High Pressure

In-situ energy dispersive x-ray diffraction on ZnS nanocrystalline was carried out under high pressure by using a diamond anvil cell. Phase transition of wurtzite of 10nm ZnS to rocksalt occurred at 16.0GPa, which was higher than that of the bulk materials. The structures of ZnS nanocrystalline at different pressures were built by using materials studio and the bulk modulus, and the pressure derivative of ZnS nanocrystalline were derived by fitting the equation of Birch-Murnaghan. The resulting modulus was higher than that of the corresponding bulk material, which indicates that the nanomaterial has higher hardness than its bulk materials.     

掠入射X射线衍射研究Si覆盖层对Ge/Si量子点微结构的影响

利用掠入射X射线衍射和常规X射线衍射研究了Si(001)上的Ge量子点在不同厚度的Si覆盖层下微结构的变化,同时用AFM研究了其形貌变化.实验结果表明在小的覆盖度下,量子点中组分的变化已十分明显,同时量子点的形状也发生了明显的变化.     

Field Emission from Silicon Nanocrystallite Films with Compact Alignment and Uniform Orientation

Patterned silicon nanocrystallite (SINC) films were fabricated on (100) orientation p-type boron-doped sificon wafer by the hydrogen ion implantation technique and the anodic etching method. The efficient field emission with low turn-on field of about 3.5V/μm at current density of 0.1μA/cm^2 was obtained. The emission current density from the SiNC films reached 1mA/cm^2 under a bias field of about 9.1V/μm. The experimental results demonstrate that there are great potential applications of the SiNC films for fiat panel displays. A surface treatment with hydrogen plasma was performed on the SiNC films and a significant improvement of emission properties was achieved.     

Fabrication of Long-Period Fibre Gratings Using 800 nm Femtosecond Laser Pulses

Long-period fibre gratings inside standard single-mode optical communication fibres are successfully fabricated with infrared femtosecond laser pulses. The refractive index perturbations are well confined within the fibre core by choosing the proper laser focusing parameters and translation speed of the fibre during the direct laser writing process. With the self-focusing effect considered and at a constant average irradiation dose of 1.62 × 10^3 J/（cm^2μm）, the threshold intensity for fabricating long-period gratings with infrared femtosecond laser pulses is determined to be 5.13 × 10^13 W/cm2.

碳化硅压腔和高压下的中子衍射

使用宝石级碳化硅晶体作为压砧材料，成功研制出了碳化硅压腔（MAC），并应用全景式MAC进行了高压下物质的中子衍射实验研究。结果表明，MAC是一种既能产生高的压力又具有大的高压样品室的装置，特别适合于高压下的中子衍射研究。     

波长检测技术在温度测量中的应用

提出一种波长检测技术实现温度测量的方法,利用FBG传感器对温度等物理量实施监测,具有测试精度高,应用场合不受限制等特点,当环境参数发生变化时,光纤光栅的有效折射率和光栅周期会受到影响,将引起光纤光栅峰值波长的偏移,依据反射光谱结构的变化,可知道其温度的变化趋势。实验测试结果表明,在温度变化0.1°,波长变化1pm,温度和波长具有良好的线性关系。

在光的衍射实验中,我们看到的一般是由通过衍射片的直射光形成的衍射图样,但在衍射片的另一面,同样存在着另一个衍射图样,它是由衍射片的背面反射光形成的,两个衍射图样关于衍射片对称.本文给出了这种实验现象,并用巴比涅原理解释了这种现象.
