2‐connected 7‐coverings of 3‐connected graphs on surfaces

An m‐covering of a graph G is a spanning subgraph of G with maximum degree at most m. In this paper, we shall show that every 3‐connected graph on a surface with Euler genus k ≥ 2 with sufficiently large representativity has a 2‐connected 7‐covering with at most 6k ? 12 vertices of degree 7. We also construct, for every surface F² with Euler genus k ≥ 2, a 3‐connected graph G on F² with arbitrarily large representativity each of whose 2‐connected 7‐coverings contains at least 6k ? 12 vertices of degree 7. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Electrochemical characterization of poly(vinylidenefluoride)-zinc triflate gel polymer electrolyte and its application in solid-state zinc batteries

Gel polymer electrolyte (GPE) films comprising of poly(vinylidenefluoride), propylene carbonate, ethylene carbonate and zinc trifluoromethane sulfonate are prepared and characterized. The composition of GPE is optimized to contain minimum liquid components with a maximum specific conductivity of 3.94×10⁻³ S cm⁻¹ at (25±1) °C. A detailed investigation on the properties such as ionic conductivity, transport number, electrochemical stability window, reversibility of Zn/Zn²⁺ couple and Zn/gel electrolyte interfacial stability have been carried out. The ionic conductivity follows a VTF behaviour with an activation energy of about 0.0014 eV. Cationic transport number varies from 0.51 at 25 °C to 0.18 at 70 °C. Several cells have been assembled with GPE as the electrolyte, zinc as the anode, γ-MnO₂ as the cathode and their charge–discharge behaviour followed. Capacity values of 105, 82, 64 and 37 mAh/g of MnO₂ have been achieved at 10, 50, 100 and 200 μA/cm² discharge current densities, respectively. The discharge capacity values are almost constant for about 55 cycles for all values of current densities. Cyclic voltammetric study of MnO₂ electrode in Zn/GPE/MnO₂ cell clearly shows intercalation/deintercalation of Zn²⁺.     

红光激发下掺Ho3+氟化物薄膜的上转换发光

利用激光脉冲沉淀法制备了稀土Ho~(3 )掺杂的氟化物薄膜。观测到处于薄膜中的Ho~(3 )离子在632.8nm红光激发下的上转换发射。这些上转换发射包括:~5S_2→~5I_7,~5F_4→~5I_7和~5S_2→~5I_8。     

超流研究的历史回顾

回顾了超流发现的历史，介绍了超流的一些现象、理论以及新近的研究结果。强调指出超流与超导一样是一种宏观量子现象。     

Gd2O3:Eu纳米晶的制备及其光谱性质研究

以EDTA为络合剂，聚乙二醇为有机分散剂，用络合溶胶—凝胶法制备出Gd2O3:Eu纳米晶。用XRD，SEM，X—射线能量色散谱仪(EDS)，荧光分光光度计等分析手段对Gd2O3:Eu的纳米晶结构、形貌、组分的均匀性以及发光特性进行了研究。结果表明：EDTA—M凝胶仅在800℃焙烧即可得到颗粒细小、组分均匀、纯立方相的Gd2O3:Eu纳米晶，颗粒基本呈球形，粒径为30nm左右。对样品的激发光谱、发射光谱测定表明：Gd2O3:Eu纳米晶在269nm光激发下发红光，发射光谱谱峰在611nm，与体材料基本相同；激发光谱中电荷迁移带(CTB)明显红移，从体材料的255nm移至269nm，移动了约14nm；猝灭浓度从体材料的6％提高到8％。     

单壁碳纳米管的SERS研究

本文通过改进实验方法,将单壁碳纳米管的乙醇溶液与金胶混合并制作成固体薄膜,使单壁碳纳米管夹裹在金纳米粒子之间,保证了吸附的紧密性,获得了高质量的单壁碳纳米管SERS光谱。不但观测到文献中报道的径向呼吸振动模(RBM)和C-C正切拉伸模(GM)的增强,还在1100-1500cm-1区域观测到一组新峰,其峰形完整并有相当的强度。这些峰在现有的文献中几乎没有报导。文章对这组新峰的出现进行了初步的分析。     

关于Pn3的优美性

设G(V,E)是一个简单图,对自然数k,当V(G^k)=V(G,E(G^k)=E(G)∪{uv|d(u,v)=k},则称图G^k为k-次方图,本文证明了图P_n³的优美性。     

EPR and optical absorption studies on VO ions in KZnClSO4·3H2O single crystals—an observation of superhyperfine structure

EPR spectra of VO²⁺ ions doped in KZnClSO₄·3H₂O single crystals have been studied at different temperatures. The EPR spectrum shows a well-resolved hyperfine and superhyperfine structure patterns. The angular variation of EPR spectra reveals the presence of more than three magnetic complexes, which correspond to distinct sites of VO²⁺ ion. From the angular variation EPR data, the spin-Hamiltonian parameters are evaluated and discussed. The optical absorption spectrum studied at room temperature shows bands corresponding to C_4v symmetry. From the EPR and optical data, the molecular-orbital bonding coefficient ε² and β² are evaluated and discussed. The observed five-line superhyperfine structure has been attributed to four protons (with I=1/2) from the surrounding water molecules of one of the vanadyl sites.     

Luminescence enhancement by hydrogenation of Si:Er,O

Erbium (Er)- and oxygen (O)-doped Cz–Si was additionally doped with hydrogen, using plasma enhanced chemical vapour deposition. Photoluminescence (PL) spectra show a large enhancement especially for samples treated with solid phase epitaxy before hydrogenation and annealing at 900°C later. Secondary ion mass spectroscopy measurements give evidence for an enhanced diffusion of O and Er at this temperature towards the surface. Etching shows that the PL does not stem from the heavily doped surface layer but from a deeper region with lower Er concentration. This conclusion is supported by the appearance of the so-called “cubic” centre with low solubility. Comparing the PL yield of the hydrogenated samples to that of samples with similar Er volume concentration but without hydrogenation still gives a large enhancement. We thus conclude that hydrogen can enhance the solubility of the cubic centre in Si:Er,O.
