Enhanced pulse compression induced by the interaction between the third—order dispersion and the cross—phase modulation in birefringent fibres

In this paper,we report on the enhanced pulse compression due to the interaction between the positive third-order dispersion (TOD) and the nonlinear effect (cross-phase modulation effect) in birefringent fibres.Polarization soliton compression along the slow axis can be enhanced in a birefringent fibre with positive third-order dispersion,while the polarization soliton compression along the fast axis can be enhanced in the fibre with negative third-order dispersion.Moreover,there is an optimal third-order dispersion parameter for obtaining the optimal pulse compression.Redshifted initial chirp is helpful to the pulse compression,while blueshifted chirp is detrimental to the pulse compression.There is also an optimal chirp parameter to reach maximum pulse compression.The optimal pulse compression for TOD parameters under different N-order solitons is also found.

olc型双折射滤波器离轴消光比的研究

提出了一种 ˇSolc型双折射滤波器的离轴消光比的一般性计算方法 ,利用所得结果模拟出了 ˇSolc型双折射滤波器的锥光干涉图以及发散光积分消光比与波长和发散角的关系曲线 ,实验结果证实了理论推算的合理性。此外本方法也适用于计算各种类型双折射滤波器的离轴消光比。     

用于电流传感器的高线性双折射高扭转光纤

本文用耦合模理论分析了扭转的线性双折射光纤。高线性双折射光纤在熔融态下扭转后形成高椭圆双折射光纤。具有合适扭转率的这种光纤是检测Faraday效应的功能型光纤,可在很大程度上消除线性双折射对检测的影响。用上述光纤对电流进行的测量证明了这一观点。     

真空机组循环水控制装置

设计了真空机组的电控装置和循环水冷却装置．电控装置使实验简化，避免了错误地开关冷却水；冷却装置通过水蒸发表面降温实现了循环水的冷却，节约了真空实验用水．     

二元衍射光栅式偏光器件的设计

本文利用双折射晶体刻划成的二元衍射光栅的衍射偏振特性,设计了偏光器件(可分别对o光或e光起偏);偏光分束器件(包括非对称及对称偏振分束两类),并对有关参数对设计的影响进行了讨论.     

用等效矩形波导近似研究双模椭圆芯光纤的特性

用等效矩形波导近似，结合一级微扰理论，研究了双模椭圆芯光纤的传播特性，得到了双模运行的Ｖ值范围和Ｅｘ２１模与Ｅｘ１１模之间的双折射、模间色散随归一化频率和椭圆比的变化关系曲线     

Birefringence Grating and Surface Grating in Azobenzene Polymer Liquid Crystal Films Investigated by Near—Field Optical method

The birefringence grating and the surface grating in azobenzene polymer liquid-crystal (Azo-PLC) films are studied by a near-fied scanning optical microscope.With laser irradiation,the refractive index change caused by birefringence and the sinusoidal surface profile are observed at the near-field transmittance image and the surface topography of the grating.The grating period and the peak-to-peak value of the sinusoidal surface profile are 0.8μm and 40nm,respectively.The maximum diffractive efficiency of the grating is 2% .The dynamic process of the grating formation is probed and analysed.The mass diffusion responsible for the formation of the surface grating due to the temperature rise is analysed.     

尼龙1010球晶的转化

本文利用偏光显微镜研究了尼龙1010球晶的转化。发现在降温过程中放射状球晶多转变成相同光性的环状球晶。升温时正环状转化为正放射状球晶;正、混合放射球晶部分转化为负放射状球晶;黄蓝两瓣球晶在一定温度范围内可与负放射球晶相互转变。多种球晶共存时,混合放射球晶可转变成两瓣、不对称四瓣和六瓣形放射球晶;正、混合坏状分别转变成不对称四瓣和六瓣形环状球晶;最后都以环状球晶熔化。     

新型支化侧链偶氮聚电解质的合成与性能研究

通过后重氮偶合的方法合成了一种含支化侧链偶氮苯生色团的聚电解质 (PBANT AC) .用IR、NMR、DSC、UV和元素分析等手段对聚合物的结构和性能进行了表征 .研究发现 ,在不同比例的水和四氢呋喃混合溶剂中PBANT AC的紫外 可见光光谱有很大的差别 .这种差别反映了PBANT AC分子中的偶氮苯生色团的不同聚集状态 .通过静电吸附逐层自组装的方法将PBANT AC分子组装成多层膜 .在 488nm的偏振Ar+ 激光的照射下 ,聚合物薄膜中的偶氮苯生色团可发生光致取向 ,取向有序度约 0 0 5 .偶氮苯生色团的顺反异构化反应使H 聚集体在光照后发生解聚集
