The influence of Rashba spin-orbit interaction (SOI) and polaronic effect on the ground-state energy of electrons in semiconductor quantum rings (QRs) are studied by means of the Lee-Low-Pines variational method. Numerical calculations for GaAs QRs are performed and the results show that the ground-state energy of electrons splits into two branches as E(↑) and E(↓) under the Rashba SOI, which correspond to the spin-up state and spin-down state, respectively. The contribution of the Rashba SOI effect to the ground-state energy of electrons is related to the spin state of electrons and is closely linked to the inner and outer radii of a QR. However, it is independent of the height of the QR. The ground-state energy of electrons decreases due to the polaronic effect in QRs. The energy shift ∆Ee-LO of the ground-state of the electron induced by the polaronic effect decreases monotonically with increase of the height of a QR and fluctuates with the changes of the radii of QRs. The amplitude of the fluctuation is very sensitive and remarkable to the changes of the inner radius R1 and the outer radius R2.  相似文献

According to density functional theory (DFT) using the plane wave base and pseudo-potential, we investigate the effects of the specific location of oxygen vacancy (Vo) in a (Ti,Co)06 distorted octahedron on the spin density and magnetic properties of Co-doped rutile Ti02 dilute magnetic semiconductors. Our calculations suggest that the Vo location has a significant influence on the magnetic moment of individual Co cations. In the case where two Co atoms are separated far away from each other, when the Vo is located at the equatorial site of a Co-contained octahedron, the ground state of the two Co cations is d6(t3g↑, t23g ↓) without any magnetic moment. However, if the Vo is located at the apical site, these two Co sites have different ground states and magnetic moments. The spin densities are also observed to be modified by the exchange coupling between the Co cations and the location of Vo. Some positive spin polarization is induced around the adjacent O ions.  相似文献

We use a first-principles plane wave method with the new relativistic analytic pseudopotential of the Hartwigsen,Goedecker and Hurter (HGH) scheme and the pseudopotential of the Troullier-Martins scheme to calculate the eleetron-phonon coupling constant λ of superconducting MgB2. The calculated results show that there is a peak at about 300-350cm^-1 in the eleetron-phonon spectral functional α2F(ω), duo to the coupling of the electrons to the acoustic phonon, and the relativistic effect appears in the high frequencies zone. CaS phosphor activated with Dy ions is prepared by the solid-state diffusion method. The phosphor is characterized by x-ray powder diffraction, thermogravimetric analysis and photoiuminescence. Defect centres formed in CaS:Dy are studied using the technique of electron spin resonance. The thermoluminescence glow curve shows peaks at around 117℃ and 345℃. Irradiated CaS:Dy exhibits ESR lines due to defect centres. The thermal annealing behaviour of one of the defect centres appears to correlate with the TL peaks at 117℃ and 345℃. This centre is characterized by an isotropic g-value of 2.0035 and is assigned to an F^+ centre.  相似文献

基于Landauer公式,研究了有限长的非公度和公度双壁碳纳米管的电子输运性顾,结果表明 ,双壁管的几何结构对其电子输运性质有显著的影响:非公度的双壁碳管的电导随能量的不 同,既可以是弹道型的,也可以是非弹道型的;由armchair管组成的公度的双壁碳管的电导 随能量变化呈现快速的电导振荡,并且此快速振荡叠加在背景慢振荡上,而zigzag管组成的 公度双壁管的电导随能量变化只有快速振荡、没有规则的慢振荡背景. 关键词: 碳纳米管 电子输运性质  相似文献

为克服低能带电粒子核反应截面直接测量中所遇到的库仑位垒和电子屏蔽效应带来的困难,试用基于准自由反应机制的特洛伊木马方法,在意大利南部国家核物理实验室的15MV串列加速器上,通过^2H(^9Be,α^6Li)n核反应对^9Be(p,α)^6Li在低能区(Ecm=0-1000kev)的裸核反应截面做了间接测量,并将测量结果与直接测量数据进行了比较。The beryllium abundance acts as a key role for understanding the inhomogeneous Big Bang nucleosynthesis. In order to measure the ^9Be(p, α)^6Li bare nucleus cross section and S(E) factor at astrophysical energies, the Trojan Horse Method (THM) can be applied. The main feature of the method is that it allows to extract the energy dependence for the astrophysical S(E) factor of bare nuclei at very low energies without any extrapolation, by measuring the cross section of an appropriate three body process. Thus the ^9Be (p,α)^6Li has been studied by means of the THM applied to the ^2H(^9Be,α^6Li)n at INFN-LNS, Catania, Italy. The two body reaction cross section has been studied in the energy range of Ecm=0-1 000 keV. Preliminary results are discussed and a comparison with direct data is made.  相似文献

This paper studies and compares the effects of pull-pull and 3-point bending cyclic loadings on the mechanical fa- tigue damage behaviors of a solder joint in a surface-mount electronic package. The comparisons are based on experimental investigations using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) in-situ technology and nonlinear finite element modeling, respec- tively. The compared results indicate that there are different threshold levels of plastic strain for the initial damage of solder joints under two cyclic applied loads; meanwhile, fatigue crack initiation occurs at different locations, and the accumulation of equivalent plastic strain determines the trend and direction of fatigue crack propagation. In addition, simulation results of the fatigue damage process of solder joints considering a constitutive model of damage initiation criteria for ductile materials and damage evolution based on accumulating inelastic hysteresis energy are identical to the experimental results. The actual fatigue life of the solder joint is almost the same and demonstrates that the FE modeling used in this study can provide an accurate prediction of solder joint fatigue failure.  相似文献
