Stability of Dust Acoustic Waves in Weakly Two—Dimensional Dust Plasma with Vortex—Like Ion Distribution

By considering the vortex-like ion distribution,we know that the nonlinear dust acoustic wave can be described by the modified Korteweg-de Vries equation.If there are high-order transverse perturbations in this system,the governing equation for this system is the modified Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation.We also find that for this system under the transverse perturbation the one-dimensional solitary wave solution is stable.     

Thermalcapillary Convection in NaBi（WO4）2 Melt

Surface-tension drive flow in NaBi(WO4)2 melt is visualized by means of the already proved method of high temperature in situ optical observation.The transition phenomena of the melt from steady spatial to oscillatory behaviour in melt are observed.The oscillatory thermocapillary convection is accompanied by synchronous temperature oscillations with the frequency 10Hz.The onset temperature of thermocapillary convection varies with the change of meniscus curvature of the melt free surface,which probably due to the liquid pressure at the surface associated with the curvature of meniscus.The oscillatory frequency is proportional to the temperature.Finally another kind of oscillatory thermocapillary convection with the frequency about 5Hz dominating in the undercooled melt is also observed.

在脉冲引导磁场涡流的计算中，为克服不规则计算区域给网格划分带来的麻烦，可进行坐标变换，将不规则的区域转换成新的规则计算区域。     

A Passively Mode－Locked Diode－End－Pumped Nd：YAG Laser with a Semiconductor Saturable Absorber Mirror Grown by Metal Organic Chemical Vapour Deposition

We report the experimentM results of a mode-locked diode-end-pumped Nd:YAG laser with a semiconductorsaturable absorber mirror (SESAM) from which we achieved a lOps pulse duration at 150MHz repetition rate.The SESAM was grown by metal organic chemical vapour deposition at low temperature. The recovery time wasmeasured to be 0.5 ps, indicating the potential pulse compression to sub-picoseconds.     

LD端面泵浦Nd∶YAG激光器中的热透镜焦距

采用热透镜焦距的理论计算与实验测量相比较的研究方法，得到一种端泵固体激光器出激光时的在线测量方法.通过建立热透镜等效腔模型以及腔型分析求解得出腔内光束束腰半径,用刀口法测出DPL腔外的远场发散角,根据发散角与透镜变换前后的束腰关系，得出LD端面泵浦Nd∶YAG激光器中的热透镜焦距.结果表明,通过上述方法所得结果与理论计算的热透镜焦距吻合,证实此方法准确、可行.     

强流电子二极管中阴极等离子体的膨胀

强流真空电子二极管是一种可以利用场发射的方法获得脉冲电流数kA到数MA的电真空装置，在强流加速器、高功率微波等领域得到广泛应用。强流电子真空二极管中，由于阴极材料气化和离子化等因素产生了阴极等离子体。阴极等离子体以一定速度向阳极运动，改变二极管阴阳极间实际间隙大小，并影响进一步引出电子束时二极管状态，从而影响引出束参数。     

利用外腔改善半导体激光器列阵的远场特性

采用一个由快轴准直透镜和一个高反射率平面镜组成的简单外腔,在腔长为几个cm时实现了半导体激光器列阵中部分单元的锁相运行;DLA远场出现了3个瓣,每瓣发散角为10 mrad左右,对比度为50%;通过控制部分单元的输出,可以抑制旁瓣的能量.     

Compact Diode-Pumped Continuous-Wave Nd：LuVO4 Lasers Operated at 916 nm and 458 nm

We report the compact diode-pumped continuous-wave （CW） Nd：LuV04 lasers operated at 916nm and 458nm for the first time. The maximum output power of 780mW at 916nm laser is obtained with a slope efficiency of 9.3%. We generate 50roW of 458nm blue laser employing a type-Ⅰ critical phase-matched LBO crystal.     

超冷费米原子气体的超流动性

最近美国MIT的Ketterle W教授和他的同事们对超冷费米原子气体具有超流动性作出了实验论证，他们观察到在锂-6原子气体形成玻色-爱因斯坦凝结时会出现涡流运动，涡流呈现出持久的无摩擦的流动特性．Ketterle研究组用激光束将冷冻的原子固定在各自的位置上，然后再分离出若干激光光束来激发出涡流．通常玻色原子与费米原子在低温下的量子行为是很不相同的．     

直喷式柴油机燃烧数值计算研究

以KIVA-3为计算平台,对4气门直喷式柴油机的早喷燃烧、预喷燃烧和传统燃烧三种燃烧方式工作过程进行了模拟计算,得以下结论:早喷燃烧方式因喷到缸壁的油量较多,受进气涡流影响较少,同时利用喷射效应改善缸内氧气分布,因此早喷燃烧比较完全。预喷燃烧方式仍以扩散燃烧为主,预喷油燃烧改变了主喷初期油注周围的组分分布与温度分布,从而改变主喷燃油的燃烧历程。进气涡流造成的缸内流场不均匀性是影响传统燃烧方式燃烧不完全的主要因素之一。
