Extended Group Foliation Method and Functional Separation of Variables to Nonlinear Wave Equations

Generalized functional separation of variables to nonlinear evolution equations is studied in terms of the extended group foliation method, which is based on the Lie point symmetry method. The approach is applied to nonlinear wave equations with variable speed and external force. A complete classification for the wave equation which admits functional separable solutions is presented. Some known results can be recovered by this approach.     

A High Revolution Speed Noncontact Ultrasonic Motor Driven by a Non-Symmetrical Electrode

Analysis of Nanostructural Waveguides Using Fourth-Order Accurate Finite Difference Methods with Nonuniform Scheme

We successfully apply fourth-order accurate finite difference methods with nonuniform scheme to analysis the symmetric slot waveguides. The results of numerical simulations show that the present nonuniform formula offers the results more accurate than the previously presented second order schemes.     

Excitonic Coupling between B and Q Transitions in Porphyrin Aggregates

The properties of meso-tetraphenylporphine （TPP） aggregates formed in acidic aqueous-organic solutions are investigated by UV-vis spectroscopy. According to the absorption spectra, the Q band absorption of the aggregated TPP shows red shift and intensity enhancement, and a model that includes the participation of water molecules in a porphyrin aggregation complex is proposed, then a qualitative explanation based on Gouterman＇s excition coupling theory is presented. Calculations including eigenenergies, eigenstates and the transition dipole strength of the coupled states are carried out.     

细水雾遮蔽红外辐射的蒙特卡洛模拟及透射场分析

基于蒙特卡洛法,对水雾遮蔽热辐射衰减建立了光子状态序列的追踪模型.利用该模型对水雾粒子的多重散射进行模拟,分析了影响水雾消光性能的消光系数、水雾浓度、不对称因子等参数,发现不对称因子也是影响水雾隐身性能的重要参数.研究表明:对于消光系数相同的介质,不对称因子越小越有利于衰减目标热辐射强度,而采用朗伯比尔定律则不能获得此结论;在雾粒子半径远大于红外波长的情况下,提高水雾的浓度并减小粒子半径可有效提高水雾的衰减作用.     

Symmetry Analysis of Two Types of （2＋1）-Dimensional Nonlinear Klein-Gorden Equation

By means of the classical symmetry method, we investigate two types of the （2＋1）-dimensional nonlinear Klein-Gorden equation. For the wave equation, we give out its symmetry group analysis in detail. For the second type of the （2＋1）-dimensional nonlinear Klein-Gorden equation, an optimal system of its one-dimensional subalgebras is constructed and some corresponding two-dimensional symmetry reductions are obtained.     

Vibrational Spectroscopy of Stretching and Bending Modes of Nickel Tetraphenyl Porphyrin： an Algebraic Approach

We calculate the vibrational frequencies of nickel tetraphenyl porphyrin for 36 vibrational bands by using the U（2） algebraic approach. The algebraic parameters in the calculations are accurate with the experimental data.     

Some Magnetized Bulk Viscous String Cosmological Models in Cylindrically Symmetric Inhomogeneous Universe with Variable ∧-Term

Some cylindrically symmetric inhomogeneous viscous fluid string cosmological models with magnetic field and cosmological term A varying with time are investigated. To get the deterministic solution, it has been assumed that the expansion （θ） in the model is proportional to the eigen value σ^11 of the shear tensor σ^ij. The value of cosmological constant for the model is found to be small and positive, which is supported by the results from recent supernovae Ia observations. The effect of bulk viscosity is to produce a change in perfect fluid and hence exhibits essential influence on the character of the solution. The physical and geometric properties of the models are also discussed in presence and absence of magnetic field.     

Symmetry Groups and Exact Solutions of New （4＋1）-Dimensional Fokas Equation

In this paper, we investigate symmetries of the new （4＋1）-dimensional Fokas equation, including point symmetries and the potential symmetries. We firstly employ the algorithmic procedure of computing the point symmetries. And then we transform the Fokas equation into a potential system and gain the potential symmetries of Fokas equation. Finally, we use the obtained point symmetries wave solutions and other solutions of the Fokas equation. and some constructive methods to get some doubly periodic In particular, some solitary wave solutions are also given.
