Applications of parabolized stability equation for predicting transition position in boundary layers

The phenomenon of laminar-turbulent transition exists universally in nature and various engineering practice.The prediction of transition position is one of crucial theories and practical problems in fluid mechanics due to the different characteristics of laminar flow and turbulent flow.Two types of disturbances are imposed at the entrance,i.e.,identical amplitude and wavepacket disturbances,along the spanwise direction in the incompressible boundary layers.The disturbances of identical amplitude are consisted of one two-dimensional(2D) wave and two three-dimensional(3D) waves.The parabolized stability equation(PSE) is used to research the evolution of disturbances and to predict the transition position.The results are compared with those obtained by the numerical simulation.The results show that the PSE method can investigate the evolution of disturbances and predict the transition position.At the same time,the calculation speed is much faster than that of the numerical simulation.

美国国家研究理事会于2011年7月发布了《K-12年级科学教育框架》,为开启美国新一代的科学教育奠定基础。《框架》采用“核心学科概念”“交叉观念”和“科学与工程实践”3大维度来建构其结构,将“工程与技术、科学应用”纳入核心学科领域,突出科学的实践本质,并通过“学习进程”来描述科学学习的发展过程。通过对《框架》的解读,开拓我国科学教育改革的视野。

Regular Small-World Network

According to the deficiencies in Watts and Strogatz＇s small-world network model, we present a new regular model to establish the small-world network. Besides the property of the small-world, this model has other properties such as accuracy in controlling the average shortest path length L, and the average clustering coefficient C, also regular network topology as well as enhanced network robustness. This method improves the construction of the small-world network essentially, so that the regular small-world network closely resembles the actual network. We also present studies on the relationships among the quantities of a variety of edges, L and C in regular small-world network in detail, This research lays the foundation for the establishment of the regular small-world network and acts as a good guidance for further research of this model and its applications.     

树立有效教学理念 致力提高教学效率——初中物理教学实践中有效教学的思考与探索

基础教育课程改革的深入实施,提高了广大中学物理教师的改革意识、效率意识与质量意识.但在教学实际中,部分教师教学仍然存在"灌输"、"作秀"、"苦磨"等误区,教学效率低下,制约了教学质量的提高.     

“传感器”的妙用二例

"传感器"作为人教版<物理>选修3-2模块的二级主题,集中体现了科学、技术与社会的密切关系.如果能在教学中,引导学生将所学传感器知识应用到生活、学习中去,搞出"小发明"、"小创造",不仅能加深学生对科学与技术关系的理解,而且能培养学生的创新精神与动手实践能力.

大学物理实验常见问题分析

物理学是一门实验科学,物理学发展史究其本质亦是实验物理的发展史.物理实验课是高等理工科院校对学生进行科学实验基本训练的必修基础课程.     

Shack-Hartmann传感器用于湍流大气横向风速的测量

分析了利用Shack-Hartmann波前传感器子孔径对之间光强信号的时间延迟交叉相关函数, 进行光传播路径上横向平均风速测量的基本原理, 给出了横向平均风速的计算公式, 并进行了水平1 km湍流大气实验测量.实验结果如下: 不同子孔径对同时测量的横向风速相关系数达0.988; 将多对子孔径对测量的结果取平均, 与接收端附近布置的风速计测量的横向风进行了对比, 发现两系统的测量结果在随时间的变化趋势上具有较好的一致性, 两次实验拟合的相关系数分别为0.848和0.820, 标准偏差分别为0.372和0.376.以上结果表明, 将Shack-Hartmann波前传感器用于横向平均风速的测量是可行的, 拓展了该传感器的使用功能.
