We show analytically that in phase-mismatched second-harmonic generation, an effective diffraction is induced at the second-harmonic (SH) frequency. Numerical simulation results agree with the analytical predictions. Compared to the case of linear propagation, the effect of the overall diffraction at the SH frequency becomes doubled due to the induced diffraction, which causes an interesting result that the SH beam width will be larger than that of the fundamental field.  相似文献

By using a standard multiple scale method, a Davey--Stewartson (DS) equation has been derived and also applied to a multi-dimensional analytical investigation on the interaction of an ultra-intense laser pulse with a cold unmagnetized transparent electron-ion plasma. The regions of instability are found by considering the modulation instability of a plane wave solution of the DS equation. The DS equation is just of the Davey--Stewartson 1 (DS1) type and admits a dromion solution, i.e. a two-dimensional (2D) dromion soliton decaying exponentially in all spatial directions. A 2D relativistic electromagnetic dromion-like soliton (2D REDLS) is derived for a vector potential.  相似文献

在基于μ子多重库仑散射的断层成像技术中,天然宇宙射线中不同动量的μ子在同一目标对象中的散射特性存在明显的差异,这在一定程度上影响了成像分辨率。为了减少或消除这种不利影响,建立了一套基于天然宇宙射线μ子动量谱的多群模型,并检验其用于铅板厚度测量及平板材料识别中的性能和特征。结果表明,采用基于μ子动量谱的多群模型能够实现1~16cm范围内铅板厚度的准确测量,相对误差小于5%。此外,该多群模型还可以通过计算辐射长度来识别未知平板的材料组成,尤其是对于高原子序数材料组成的平板,其辐射长度相对误差小于4%。  相似文献

We study fermionic zero modes in the self-dual vortex background on an extra two-dimensional Riemann surface in (5+1) dimensions. Using the generalized Abelian-Higgs model, we obtain the inner topological structure of the self-dual vortex and establish the exact self-duality equation with topological term. Then we analyze the Dirac operator on an extra torus and the effective Lagrangian of four-dimensional fermions with the self-dual vortex background. Solving the Dirac equation, the fermionic zero modes on a torus with the self-dual vortex background in two simple cases are obtained.  相似文献

The creation and propagation of longitudinal acoustic phonons (LAPs) in high quality hematite thin films (α-Fe203) epitaxially grown on different substrates (BaTiO3, SrTiO3, and LaAlO3) are investigated using the femtosecond pump- probe technique. Transient reflection measurements (AR/R) indicate the photo-excited electron dynamics, and the initial decay less than 1 ps and the slow decay of -500 ps are attributed to the electron-LO phonon coupling and electron-hole nonradiative recombination, respectively. LAPs in α-Fe2O3 film can be created by ultrafast excitation of the ligand field state, such as the ligand field transitions under 800-nm excitation as well as the ligand to metal charge-transfer with 400- nm excitation. The strain modulations of the sound velocity and the out-of-plane elastic properties are demonstrated in α-Fe2O3 film on different substrates.  相似文献

The influence of Rashba spin-orbit interaction (SOI) and polaronic effect on the ground-state energy of electrons in semiconductor quantum rings (QRs) are studied by means of the Lee-Low-Pines variational method. Numerical calculations for GaAs QRs are performed and the results show that the ground-state energy of electrons splits into two branches as E(↑) and E(↓) under the Rashba SOI, which correspond to the spin-up state and spin-down state, respectively. The contribution of the Rashba SOI effect to the ground-state energy of electrons is related to the spin state of electrons and is closely linked to the inner and outer radii of a QR. However, it is independent of the height of the QR. The ground-state energy of electrons decreases due to the polaronic effect in QRs. The energy shift ∆Ee-LO of the ground-state of the electron induced by the polaronic effect decreases monotonically with increase of the height of a QR and fluctuates with the changes of the radii of QRs. The amplitude of the fluctuation is very sensitive and remarkable to the changes of the inner radius R1 and the outer radius R2.  相似文献

We use a first-principles plane wave method with the new relativistic analytic pseudopotential of the Hartwigsen,Goedecker and Hurter (HGH) scheme and the pseudopotential of the Troullier-Martins scheme to calculate the eleetron-phonon coupling constant λ of superconducting MgB2. The calculated results show that there is a peak at about 300-350cm^-1 in the eleetron-phonon spectral functional α2F(ω), duo to the coupling of the electrons to the acoustic phonon, and the relativistic effect appears in the high frequencies zone. Effect of temperature on the polaron stability in a one-dimensional organic lattice is investigated within the Su-Schrieffer-Heeger model. The temperature effect is simulated by introducing random forces to the equation of the lattice motion. It is found that the localized polaron state becomes delocalized even at low temperatures. The time of polaron keeping localized depends on the magnitude of temperatures. By taking into account the thermal effect, we find that the dissociation field is weaker as compared with earlier works.  相似文献
