We introduce a piecewise uniform frequency distribution to model a symmetrical bimodal natural frequency distribution and investigate the dynamics in the Kuramoto model on complex networks. We find that the scenario of the synchronization transition depends on the network topology. For an ER network, the incoherent state, standing wave states and stationary synchronous states are encountered successively with the increase of the coupling strength. However, for an SF network, there exists another type of synchronous states, traveling wave states, between the standing wave states and the stationary synchronous states. 相似文献

In this paper, we propose two methods to enhance the synchronizability of a class of complex networks which do not hold the positive correlation between betweenness centrality (BC) and degree of a node, and observe other topology characteristics of the network affected by the methods. Numerical simulations show that both methods can effectively enhance the synchronizability of this kind of networks. Furthermore, we show that the maximal BC of all edges is an important factor to affect the network synchronizability, although it is not the unique factor. 相似文献

In this paper, a simple adaptive linear feedback control method is proposed for controlling the scaling factor between two coupled unified chaotic systems to a desired value, based on the invarianee principle of differential equations. Under this control strategy, one can arbitrarily select the scaling factor. Numerical simulations are given to support the effectiveness of the proposed method and show the robustness against noise. Furthermore, a secure communication scheme based on the adaptive projective synchronization of unified chaotic systems is presented and numerical simulation shows its feasibility.[第一段] 相似文献

Partial synchronization (PaS) on regular networks with a few non-local couplings are studied. The criterion that PaS can emerge in any given network and some relevant phenomena about Lyapunov exponents are found. We study phase synchronization in oscillator networks through phase reduced method. The dynamics of networks is reduced to phase equations by this method. Analysing the phase equations through the master stability function method, one obtains that the oscillators with identical frequency can be in-phase synchronized by weak balanced coupling. Similarly, the problem of frequency synchronization of oscillators with different frequencies is transformed to the existence of a locally asymptotically stable equilibrium of the phase error system. 相似文献

We present a network model with a new coupled scheme which is the generalization of drive-response systems called a drivingly coupled network. The synchronization of the network is investigated by numerical simulations based on Lorenz systems. By calculating the largest transversal Lyapunov exponents of such network, the stable and unstable regions of synchronous state for eigenvalues in such network can be obtained and many kinds of drivingly coupled arrays based on Lorenz systems such as all-to-all, star-shape, ring-shape and chain-shape networks are considered. 相似文献

We investigate a drive-response system by considering the impacts of noise on generalized synchronization (GS). It is found that a small amount of noise can turn the system from desynchronization to the GS state in the resonant case no matter how noise is injected into the system. In the non-resonant case, noise with intensity in a certain range is helpful in building GS only when the noise is injected to the driving system. This paper investigates the control and synchronization of hyperchaotic Chen system based on the passive theory. By using two outputs, novel passive controllers are respectively designed to realize the globally asymptotical stability of the hyperchaotic Chen system and the error dynamical system, which avoids mistakes in Ref.[11], where function W(z) cannot guarantee that fo(z) is globally asymptotically stable via only one output and W(z) is the Lyapunov function of f0(z). In this paper, we consider a model system with two identical time-delayed coupled layers. Synchronization and anti-phase synchronization are exhibited in the reactive system without diffusion term. New segmented spiral waves, which are constituted by many thin trips, are found in each layer of two identical time-delayed coupled layers, and are different from the segmented spiral waves in a water-in-oil aerosol sodium bis(2-ethylhexyl) sulfosuccinate (AOT) microemulsion (ME) (BZ-AOT system), which consists of many small segments. "Anti-phase spiral wave synchronization" can be realized between the first layer and the second one. For different excitable parameters, we also give the minimum values of the coupling strength to generate segmented spiral waves and the tip orbits of spiral waves in the whole bilayer. 相似文献
