Semiclassical calculation of the recurrence spectra of He Rydberg atom in perpendicular electric and magnetic fields 下载免费PDF全文
Closed orbit theory is a semiclassical technique for explaining the spectra of Rydberg atoms in external fields. By developing the closed orbit theory from two degrees of freedom to three non-separable degrees of freedom, we calculated the recurrence spectra of He Rydberg atom in perpendicular electric and magnetic fields. The closed orbits in the corresponding classical system have also been obtained. Fourier transformed spectra of He atoms have allowed direct comparison between the resonance peaks and the scaled action values of closed orbits, whereas the nonhydrogenic resonance can be explained in terms of the new orbits created by the core scattering. The semiclassical result is in good agreement with the quantum spectra, which suggests that our method is correct. 相似文献

The asymmetric patterns of superradiance from Bose-Einstein condensates are studied for the spatially inhomogeneous pump pulse with the semiclassical Maxwell-Schrodinger equations. The dynamics expansion mechanisms for plasma plume generated by pulsed laser radiation are studied in detail, taking account of plasma ionization effect. Based on the consideration of local conservations of mass, momentum, collected as the assumption that plasma can be viewed as compressible ideal fluid and high temperature-high pressure ideal gas, we develop a new dynamics expansion mechanism for plasma produced by pulsed laser radiation. Using the analytical method, the space number density and pressure evolvement of plasma in cylindrical coordinate are obtained, the dynamics evolvement equations are also derived. The results from the present model indicate that the plasma dynamic expansion behaviour can be evidently influenced by the ionization fraction η. Its effect is similar to a new dynamic source for plasma expansion and increases the expansion acceleration in all directions. The predictions of the expansion of the plasma is affected by the temperature, the average atoms mass and the ionization degree of the plasma are consistent with the experimental results. 相似文献

Bunch lengthening phenomenon is resulted from one of the most severe single bunch instabilities in storage rings. We develop a new code to calculate the single bunch length and energy spread in storage rings using FORTRAN. In this code, wake field is calculated using an analytical formula, which is different from the previous ones. The bunch length and energy spread under different bunch currents are calculated for BEPCII by using this code, and the tracking results are in good agreement with those from other codes. The calculated energy spread clearly shows that the longitudinal microwave instability threshold is around 65 mA for BEPCII storage ring. 相似文献

By mapping the Fock space of many local fermionic modes isomorphically onto a many-qubit space and using the measure of concurrence, this paper studies numerically the mode entanglement of two spinless electrons with on-site interaction U moving in the one-dimensional Harper model. Generally speaking, for electrons in extended regimes (potential parameter λ 〈 2), the spectrum-averaged concurrence N(C) first decreases slowly as A increases until its local minimum, then increases with λ until its peak at λ = 2, while for electrons in localized regimes (λ 〉 2), N(C) decreases drastically as λ increases. The functions of N(C) versus λ are different for electrons in extended and localized regimes. The maximum of N(C) occurs at the point λ= 2, which is the critical value in the one-dimensional singleparticle Harper model. From these studies it can distinguish extended, localized and critical regimes for the two-particle system. It is also found for the same λ that the interaction U always induce the decreases of concurrence, i.e., the concurrence can reflect the localization effect due to the interaction. All these provide us a new quantity to understand the localization properties of eigenstates of two interacting particles. 相似文献
