650nm光在Intralipid-10%中分布的测量和分析

本文提出一种用光纤测定光在生物组织模型Iitralipid内部光分布的方法并测定了650nm激光在Iitralipid 10%中的分布,该方法与各向同性球形光纤探头探测组织内光分布是一种互补的方法。实验结果揭示了在生物组织模型中不同方向散射光的分布规律,表明了不同的组织光学参数和不同直径的入射光束与光分布之间的关系;采用外推边界条件的漫射方程解拟合前向散射光的测量数据确定了组织模型的散射系数和吸收系数并得到较好的结果,所测量的光学参数与公开发表的结果比较其差别在2 35%以内。     

Anisotropy in Third-Order Nonlinear Optical Susceptibility of a Squarylium Dye in a Nematic Liquid Crystal

A squarylium dye is dissolved in 4-cyano-4＇-pentylbiphenyl （SCB） and oriented by sandwiching mixtures between two pieces of rubbed glass plates. The optical absorption spectra of the oriented squarylium dye-5CB layers exhibit high anisotropy. The third-order nonlinear optical responses and susceptibilities X^（3）e of squarylium dye in 5CB are measured with light polarizations parallel and perpendicular to the orientational direction by the resonant femtosecond degenerate four-wave mixing （DFWM） technique. Temporal profiles of the DFWM signal of the oriented squarylium dye-5CB layers with light polarizations parallel and perpendicular to the orientational direction are measured with a time resolution of 0.3ps （FWHM）, and are found to consist of two components, i.e., the coherent instantaneous nonlinear response and slow response due to the formation of excited molecules. A high anisotropic ratio of x^（3）e, 10.8 ：k 1.2, is observed for the oriented layers.     

基于单端半导体光放大器的可调谐超短光脉冲源理论与实验研究

超短光脉冲源是光时分复用(OTDM)系统中的关键器件.提出了一种基于单端半导体光放大器(SOA)的注入型主动锁模光纤激光器产生超短光脉冲的方案，建立了该方案的理论模型.实验实现了高消光比稳定的重复频率10—40GHz皮秒级光脉冲的输出，输出波长在30nm范围内连续可调. 关键词： 超短光脉冲 单端半导体光放大器 主动锁模     

Effect of Molecular Weight on Liquid Crystal Photoalignment by Photosensitive Polyester Containing Thrifluoromethyl Moieties

We investigate the liquid-crystal （LC） alignment direction on photoalignment films formed from photosensitive polyester containing thrifluoromethyl moieties （PPDA） with various molecular weights by crossed polarized optical microscopy. It is found that LC alignment behaviour changes with molecular weight of PPDA. The LC alignment on PPDA irradiated films with the highest molecular weight is homogeneous, while those with low and intermediate molecular weights are homeotropic. However, surface morphologies show weak dependence on molecular weight. The surfaces are smooth and there is no clear morphological anisotropy on these aligned films observed by an atomic force microscope. The surface energies of the irradiated films are also measured by using an indirect contact-angle method where both surface energy and its polar component, increase with increasing molecular weight. Different polar surface energies can be considered as a main reason for different alignment characteristics.     

光纤环形外腔半导体激光器频偏特性研究

本文给出了在环形光纤外腔光反馈之下半导体激光器频偏特性的小信号分析理论.分析表明,尤其在千兆赫以下的调制频段中,耦合腔相移、内外腔光耦合强度及内外腔光场相位失谐对频偏功率比均有显著影响.可望用作强度调制直接检测高速率、长距离光纤通信系统中的光源.     

Design of Two-Dimensional Photonic Crystal Edge Emitting Laser for Photonic Integrated Circuits

An edge emitting laser based on two-dimensional photonic crystal slabs is proposed. The device consists of a square lattice microcavity, which is composed of two structures with the same period but different radius of air-holes, and a waveguide. In the cavity, laser resonance in the inner structure benefits from not only the anomalous dispersion characteristic of the first band-edge at the M point in the first Brillouin-zone but also zero photon states in the outer structure. A line defect waveguide is introduced in the outer structure for extracting photons from the inner cavity. Three-dimensional finite-difference time-domain simulations apparently show the in-plane laser output from the waveguide. The microcavity has an effective mode volume of about 3.2（λ/nslab）^3 for oscillation mode and the quality factor of the device including line defect waveguide is estimated to be as high as 1300.     

利用г—X混合在AlAs／GaAs异质结构实现光生电子、空穴对的持久存储

利用GaAs量子阱中г谷束缚态与AlAs层中X谷束缚态在异质结界面处的共振г-X混合，使得光生电子不仅在实空间而且在K窨 与光生空穴分离开来，从而在结构中形成了持久的电荷极化。这一效应已被C-V特性上所观察到的电容阶跃和正反扫描时所出现的双稳滞迟现象所证实。如果将我们的器件用作光存储单元，预期可以获得很长的存储时间Ts。同时，由于г-X混合隧穿速率很快，光子“读出”仍可以保持很快。     

热效应对光折变晶体两波耦合的特性影响的理论分析

用一种模型对两波耦合进行了分析，导出了强度相位的解析式，对影响两波耦合的参数进行了理论分析。分析了对ＢａＴｉＯ３光折变晶体的两波耦合的测量结果。     

TlBaCaCuO外延膜的光响应

在波长γ＝６３２．８ｎｍ，入射功率约０．８ｍ的Ｈｅ－Ｎｅ激光照射下，对ＴｌＢａ２Ｃａ２ＣｕＯ２（Ｔｌ－２２１２）外延膜的光响应行为进行了实验研究。结果显示：在样品转变温度（Ｔｃ＝１０５．５Ｋ）附近，ＴｌＢａ－ＣａＣｕＯ外延膜的光响应行为表现为辐射热与非辐射热效应共存现象。光响应信号电平与样品温度、偏置电流、及入射光束的调制频率等诸因素有密切关系的关系。实验结果还表明，辐射热与非辐射热效应的响应行为     

脉冲离散效应对光纤中基于交叉相位调制的脉冲压缩的影响

通过数值模拟，分析了脉冲离散效应对单模光纤正群速色区基于暗孤子交叉不相位调制的脉冲压缩的影响，并提出了减轻这种影响的办法，作者发现，即使暗孤子与被压缩脉冲的中心波长相差很小，离散效应对脉冲压缩的影响也很大，离散效应不仅导致脉冲压缩比的减小和压缩后脉冲峰值功率的降低，而且还导致脉冲压缩所需最佳光纤长度的增加以及压缩后的脉冲呈现不对称性，还发现，若采取本文提出了的非同步耦合法，则可以明显地弥补离散效应
