Coherent Landau states with gauge invariance

Coherent states for the Landau system (planar charged particle moving in a uniform magnetic field) are developed. It is convenient to use these states to describe the circular motion of the charged particle. The results obtained do not depend on gauges.

Two-Qubit Logic Gates and Teleportation of an Entangled State of Atom-Cavity with Cavity QED

In this paper, a scheme is proposed for realization of two-qubit controlled-not gates and teleportation of an entangled state of atom-cavity. In this scheme, applying hyperfine levels of atom, we consider A-type three-level atom interacting resonantly or nonresonantly with cavity field that is prepared in σ- polarized. We consider the experimental feasibility of this scheme and compare our results with other schemes.     

Giant Vortex States in a Long Superconducting Cylinder with a Hole in Center

We have theoretically studied the nucleation of superconductivity in doubly connected superconductors in the form of long superconducting cylinders. The giant vortex states are investigated with the nonlinear Ginzburg-Landau theory. The solutions of Ginzburg-Landau equations are solved numerically with relaxation method. The quantum size effect is clearly shown through the calculation of free energy.     

Coherence vortices of partially coherent beams in the far field

Based on the propagation law of cross-spectral density function, studied in this paper are the coherence vortices of partially coherent, quasi-monochromatic singular beams with Gaussian envelope and Schell-model correlator in the far field, where our main attention is paid to the evolution of far-field coherence vortices into intensity vortices of fully coherent beams. The results show that, although there are usually no zeros of intensity in partially coherent beams with Gaussian envelope and Schell-model correlator, zeros of spectral degree of coherence exist. The coherence vortices of spectral degree of coherence depend on the relative coherence length, mode index and positions of pairs of points. If a point and mode index are kept fixed, the position of coherence vortices changes with the increase of the relative coherence length. For the low coherent case there is a circular phase dislocation. In the coherent limit coherence vortices become intensity vortices of fully coherent Laguerre--Gaussian beams.     

Quantum Standard Teleportation Based on the Generic Measurement Bases

We study the quantum standard teleportation based on the generic measurement bases. It is shown that the quantum standard teleportation does not depend on the explicit expression of the measurement bases. We have given the correspondence relation between the measurement performed by Alice and the unitary transformation performed by Bob. We also prove that the single particle unknown states and the two-particle unknown cat-like states can be exactly transmitted by means of the generic measurement bases and the correspondence unitary transformations.

Hydrodynamic Evolution of Spherical Fireball in Relativistic Heavy Ion Collisions

Evolution process can be calculated from the relativistic hydrodynamic equation with certain estimated initial conditions about a single spherical fireball here.So one can estimate a kind of initial condition qualitatively with a possible energy density about ε0≈1.9 GeV/fm^3,and to fit the experimental data at thermal freeze-out based on this process.The evolution from a cylindrical fireball is discussed simply.     

Rare Decay B→Xsvv in the Two—Higgs—Doublet Model of Type—Ⅲ

In this paper, we calculated the new physics contribution to theoretically very clean rare decay B→X_sνν in the general two-Higgs-doublet model (model III). Within the considered parameter space, we found that (a) the new physics contribution can provide one to two orders of enhancement to the branching ratio B(B→X_sνν) and can saturate the experimental bound on B(B→X_sνν) in some regions of the parameter space; (b) besides the CLEO data of B→X_sγ, the ALEPH upper limit on B(B→X_sνν) also leads to further constraint on the size of the Yukawa coupling λ_tt: λ_tt< 6.4 for λ_bb=2.7 and m_H⁺=200 GeV.     

Coherent States and a Path Integral for the Relativistic Linear Singular Oscillator

The SU（1,1） coherent states for a relativistic model of the linear singular oscillator are considered. The corresponding partition function is evaluated. The path integral for the transition amplitude between SU（1,1） coherent states is given. Classical equations of the motion in the generalized curved phase space are obtained. It is shown that the use of quasiclassical Bohr Sommerfeld quantization rule yields the exact expression for the energy spectrum.
