In quantum theory, symmetry has to be defined necessarily in terms of the family of unit rays, the state space. The theorem of Wigner asserts that a symmetry so defined at the level of rays can always be lifted into a linear unitary or an antilinear antiunitary operator acting on the underlying Hilbert space. We present two proofs of this theorem which are both elementary and economical. Central to our proofs is the recognition that a given Wigner symmetry can, by post-multiplication by a unitary symmetry, be taken into either the identity or complex conjugation. Our analysis often focuses on the behaviour of certain two-dimensional subspaces of the Hilbert space under the action of a given Wigner symmetry, but the relevance of this behaviour to the larger picture of the whole Hilbert space is made transparent at every stage.  相似文献

The neutral species present in CdS ablation plumes upon nanosecond 532 nm laser irradiation at a moderate fluence of 0.5–0.75 J cm−2 have been studied. Neutral Cd n S m clusters have been identified, some as large as (CdS)33−34 (1–2 nm in diameter). The analysis of the dynamics of neutral species shows an expansion with two components that differ both in composition and dynamics. A fast, high kinetic energy component, dominated by S2 which acquires free-flow conditions at short distances from the target, is followed by a slower component characterized by similar speeds for all species. This slower component shows dynamic features that are expected to favor aggregation processes leading to effective cluster formation.  相似文献

Metal organic frameworks (MOFs) have been well-known and extensively researched due to the high storage /good selectivity for gas molecules. Herein, the structures and electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectra for dicopper paddle wheel MOF compound (Cu22-O2CCH3)4 with various gas molecule are theoretically investigated by density functional theory (DFT) calculations. The adsorption energies and isotherms (including pure gas molecules and the mixed ones) are calculated for the gas molecules interacting with the unsaturated Cu22-O2CCH3)4. Both quantities exhibit the roughly consistent orders (e.g. H2S?>?NH3?>?CO2?>?CO?>?H2O?>?N2?>?NO?>?H2 for isotherms and H2S?>?NH3?>?N2?>?CO2?>?NO?>?H2O?>?H2?>?CO for adsorption energies), possibly suggesting that this material may act as a potential adsorbent of these gas molecules. The catalytic property of Cu22-O2CCH3)4 for oxidation of CO and NO into non-toxic molecules and splitting of H2O into H2 and O2 in the solvent condition are uniformly discussed. Simulation of Grand Canonical Monte Carlo (GCMC) in MS 8.0 and calculations in Langmuir model reveal that Cu22-O2CCH3)4 has good selectivity for CH4 in natural gas (CH4/CO2/N2) and SO2 in fog (SO2/NO/NO2/H2O/O2), which would exhibit potential environmentally friendly applications.  相似文献

In this paper we obtain conditions for a Whitney sum of three vector bundles over a closed manifold, , to be the fixed data of a -action; these conditions yield the fact that if is the fixed data of a -action, where is the trivial one dimensional bundle, then the same is true for . The results obtained, together with techniques previously developed, are used to obtain, up to bordism, all possible -actions fixing the disjoint union of an even projective space and a point.

Freytes proved a theorem of Cantor-Bernstein type for algbras; he applied certain sequences of central elements of bounded lattices. The aim of the present paper is to extend the mentioned result to the case when the lattices under consideration need not be bounded; instead of sequences of central elements we deal with sequences of internal direct factors of lattices. 采用溶胶-凝胶法制备了半导体型金属氧化物Ta2O5,并通过浸渍法与杂多酸H,PW12O40复合,获得了纳米复合光催化材料H3PW12O40/Ta2O5.通过1CP-AES、FT-lR、N2吸附、Tc等手段对其组成、结构及其表面物理化学性质进行了表征,并在可见光下考察了该复合材料对可溶性染料罗丹明B和亚甲基蓝的光催化活性.实验结果表明,该复合材料存可见光下有较好的光催化活性,其中,H3PW12O40/Ta2O5在180min内对亚甲基蓝的光催化降解转化率达到78%.  相似文献

Localization of a particle in the wells of an asymmetric double‐well (DW) potential is investigated here. Information entropy‐based uncertainty measures, such as Shannon entropy, Fisher information, Onicescu energy, etc., and phase‐space area, are utilized to explain the contrasting effect of localization‐delocalization and role of asymmetric term in such two‐well potentials. In asymmetric situation, two wells behaves like two different potentials. A general rule has been proposed for arrangement of quasi‐degenerate pairs, in terms of asymmetry parameter. Further, it enables to describe the distribution of particle in either of the deeper or shallow wells in various energy states. One finds that, all states eventually get localized to the deeper well, provided the asymmetry parameter attains certain threshold value. This generalization produces symmetric DW as a natural consequence of asymmetric DW. Eigenfunctions, eigenvalues are obtained by means of a simple, accurate variation‐induced exact diagonalization method. In brief, information measures and phase‐space analysis can provide valuable insight toward the understanding of such potentials.  相似文献

Let B be the class of 'better' admissible multimaps due to the author. We introduce new concepts of admissibility (in the sense of Klee) and of Klee approximability for subsets of G-convex uniform spaces and show that any compact closed multimap in B from a G-convex space into itself with the Klee approximable range has a fixed point. This new theorem contains a large number of known results on topological vector spaces or on various subclasses of the class of admissible G-convex spaces. Such subclasses are those of O-spaces, sets of the Zima-Hadzic type, locally G-convex spaces, and LG-spaces. Mutual relations among those subclasses and some related results are added.  相似文献
