Based on the theory of the compound nucleus reaction, a brief review is given on the special aspects of the reaction dynamics
in the synthesis of the superheavy elements (SHE), where the fusion probability is the most unknown factor. A new viewpoint
of the fusion reaction is proposed that it consists of two processes; the first process up to the contact of two nuclei of
the incident channel and the second one of a dynamical evolution to the spherical compound nucleus from the contact configuration.
The fusion probability is, thus, given as a product of a contact probability and a formation probability. Analytic studies
of the latter probability are discussed in the one-dimensional model, where a simple expression is given to the so-called
extra-push energy in terms of the reduced friction, the curvature parameter of the conditional saddle point and the nuclear
temperature. Preliminary results of numerical analyses of the contact probability are given, using the surface friction model
(SFM). Remarks are given on the present status of our knowledge and for future developments.

The proposed model of laser plasma emission spectrum formation enables us to determine the absolute value of the laser pulse
to plasma emitted radiation conversion factor, profile of the emission spectrum, and frequency distribution of the intensity
and energy in the emitted spectra. This is of interest for laser plasma diagnostics and provides a means for direct calculation
of the number of excited nuclei in dependent on the parameters of laser pulse.

The interaction between gene activation and cellular activity has recently emerged as a critical aspect of brain behavior, but the dynamics of networks incorporating these interactions are poorly understood. An interesting phenomena arises when the genetic activation oscillates endogenously and a network of such cells synchronize to a coherent rhythm, such as is the case with the suprachiasmatic nucleus. To explain this synchronization, we propose a model in which a mRNA/protein expression cycle drives neurons electrical activity, and synaptic activation shifts the phase of the protein rhythm. We have investigated the low-lying collective states and electromagnetic transitions in 94Mo within the framework of the interacting boson model. The influence of model parameters on the energy levels and electromagnetic properties has been investigated. The analysis of the obtained results and the parameter values predict that the 23+state is the lowest mixed symmetry state with pure F = Fmax - 1 in this nucleus. The calculated results predicate that the 25+ (two-Q-phonon) mixed symmetry state is closed to the J = 2+ at 2.870 MeV in the experimental data, and the 2.965 MeV state is the lowest mixed symmetry with J = 3+. 相似文献

Elastic electron scattering on the exotic light nucleus28S is investigated in the plane wave Born approximation. The variation of the squared form factors of28S with momentum transfer is compared with that of32S. It is found that the behavior of the form factors near the second minimum (with a moderate momentum transfer) is sensitive
to the alteration of the charge density distribution of halo protons in28S. This indicates that elastic electron scattering can be a good probe of the structure of proton-halo nuclei. 相似文献

The K+−nucleus cross sections have been calculated in relativistic non-linear models taking into account the in-medium modifications of nucleons and mesons properties. More precisely, we have taken into account both the dressing of the nucleon effective mass by the scalar nuclear field in the target and the coupling of the mesons exchanged between the K+ and the nucleons to the polarization of the medium. First, using the most recent relativistic non-linear models, the in-medium σ, ω and ρ meson masses have been obtained in the nuclear matter rest frame. The influence of the non-linear contributions on the K+−nucleus cross sections has then been studied. Finally, we have compared our results with the experimental data. 相似文献

The streaming potential of supersaturated solution of binary carboxylic acids, which have even carbon atoms, was determined to characterize crystallization under different temperatures. The value of the streaming potential was related to the type and solubility of the acids and the starting temperature of crystallization, and was easily influenced by the pressure difference of the liquid or the rate of temperature decline. When the temperature was declined to the point where a crystal nucleus appeared, the streaming potential reached the minimum. Thereafter, as the temperature was sequentially lowered, some minicrystals grew, and the streaming potential presented an ascendant tendency. The higher the starting temperature of the acids saturated solution, the higher is the temperature corresponding to the streaming potential minimum. The less the carbon atoms in the acids and the greater the solubility of the acids are, the higher is the temperature of the streaming potential minimum. Copyright © 2007 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. 相似文献
