对于三因素完全巢式实验（the three-factor completely enstcd experiment），本就权向量的选取不依赖于样本容量的一般情形，建立了效应检验的公式，并证明了有关效应空间与权向量关系的两个基本结果。     

Self-assemblies of enzymatically degradable amphiphilic oligopeptides as nonviral gene carrier

Novel biodegradable oligopeptide-type gene carriers composed of cationic residues (KRRRKRKRRRKRKRRC) and oligo leucine segments were developed. The amphiphilic carrier was found to form micelle-like assemblies in aqueous solutions, when the oligo leucine is 12 amino acids length (Pep-L12). NMR, CMC, and GPC analysis revealed their hydrophobic/cationic core/shell morphology. Hydrophobic interaction between leucines is thought to be the major driving force behind formations of assemblies. The transient expression of luciferase introduced to COS-1 cells using Pep-L12 below the CMC is as low as that by the control cationic peptides without leucine residue (Pep-L0), while improved transgene expression was observed in the case of Pep-L12 above CMC. The self-assembly raised the apparent molecular weight and gene transfection ability without loosening their low cytotoxicity. These results indicate that the amphiphilic oligopeptides are very promising materials as highly efficient and less toxic gene carriers.     

A general ratio estimator and its application in model based inference

A general ratio estimator of a population total is proposed as an approximation to the estimator introduced by Srivastava (1985,Bull. Internat. Statist. Inst.,51(10.3), 1–16). This estimator incorporates additional information gathered during the survey in a new way. Statistical properties of the general ratio estimator are given and its relationship to the estimator proposed by Srivastava is explored. A special kind of general ratio estimator is suggested and it turns out to be very efficient in a simulation study when compared to several other commonly used estimators.The work of this author was supported by AFOSR grant #830080.     

基于F-DEA赋权耦合的军工企业装备维修能力评价模型

权重系数的确定是多指标综合评价中的核心问题.针对传统数据包络分析评价模型中对指标赋权方法研究的不足,以军工企业装备维修能力的评价为例,在构建装备维修能力评价指标的基础上,利用SPSS软件计算出各决策单元的因子得分,并依据可测函数的有关性质对非正得分进行转换,利用转换结果构建了数据包络分析的有关输入、输出矩阵,最终构建出基于因子分析（Factor Analysis, FA）与数据包络分析（Data Envelopment Analysis,DEA）的F-DEA赋权耦合模型.借助MATLAB 的运算结果,证明了该模型的可行性与有效性;并据此给出提高相应决策单元装备维修能力的关键因素及其改进方案.     

Cohomologie des variétés de Deligne-Lusztig

We study the cohomology of Deligne-Lusztig varieties with aim the construction of actions of Hecke algebras on such cohomologies, as predicted by the conjectures of Broué, Malle and Michel ultimately aimed at providing an explicit version of the abelian defect conjecture. We develop the theory for varieties associated to elements of the braid monoid and partial compactifications of them. We are able to compute the cohomology of varieties associated to (possibly twisted) rank 2 groups and powers of the longest element w₀ (some indeterminacies remain for G₂). We use this to construct Hecke algebra actions on the cohomology of varieties associated to w₀ or its square, for groups of arbitrary rank. In the subsequent work [F. Digne, J. Michel, Endomorphisms of Deligne-Lusztig varieties, Nagoya J. Math. 183 (2006)], we construct actions associated to more general regular elements and we study their traces on cohomology.     

Weighted estimates for maximal multilinear commutators

Let T be a Calderón–Zygmund operator with regular kernel K and T * _b be the maximal multilinear commutator defined by . In this paper, the following weighted estimates for T * _b are discussed. Precisely, for 0 < p < ∞, ω ∈ A _∞ and b _j ∈ Osc equation/tex2gif-inf-5.gif, r_j ≥ 1, j = 1, … , m , there exists a positive constant C such that . For p = 1 and ω ∈ A ₁, the weighted weak L (log L )^1/r ‐type estimates are also established. Our theorems are parallel to the ones of the multilinear commutators of Calderón–Zygmund operators obtained in [18] and extend the main result in [14] essentially. (© 2006 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. Measuring overall efficiency and effectiveness using DEA

This paper presents a framework where data envelopment analysis (DEA) is used to measure overall efficiency and show how to apply this framework to assess effectiveness for more general behavioral goals. The relationships between various cone-ratio DEA models and models to measure overall efficiency are clarified. Specifically it is shown that as multiplier cones tighten, the cone-ratio DEA models converge to measures of overall efficiency. Furthermore, it is argued that multiplier cone and cone-ratio model selection must be consistent with the behavioral goals assigned or assumed for purposes of analysis. Consistent with this reasoning, two new models are introduced to measure effectiveness when value measures are represented by separable or linked cones, where the latter can be used to analyze profit-maximizing effectiveness.     

On the Neumann problem with the Hardy–Sobolev potential

In this paper we investigate the solvability of the nonlinear Neumann problem (1.1) with indefinite weight functions and a critical Hardy–Sobolev nonlinearity. We examine the common effect of the shape of the graph of a weight function and the mean curvature of the boundary on the existence of solutions of problem (1.1). We also investigate the regularity of solutions.      

ON THE ESTIMATION OF GENERALIZED LEBESGUE CONSTANT AND MODULUS OF GENERALIZED SINGULAR QUADRATURE FORMULAS AND ITS APPLICATION

This article, first gives the estimaties of two modulus, namely, generalized Lebesgue constant and modulus of generalized singular integral quadrature formulas, then applies them to obtain the error bounds of the operator BLmp to the operator B.
