Weak Noether Symmetry and non-Noether Conserved Quantities for General Holonomic Systems

A new kind of weak Noether symmetry for a general holonomic system is defined in such a way that the methods to construct Hojman conserved quantity and new-type conserved quantity are given. It turns out that we introduce a new approach to look for the conserved laws. Two examples are presented.     

The Weak Convergence for Functions of Negatively Associated Random Variables

Let {X_n, n1} be a sequence of stationary negatively associated random variables, S_j(l)=∑^l_i=1 X_j+i, S_n=∑ⁿ_i=1 X_i. Suppose that f(x) is a real function. Under some suitable conditions, the central limit theorem and the weak convergence for sums are investigated. Applications to limiting distributions of estimators of Var S_n are also discussed.

对所设计的北京τ-粲工厂(BTCF)高亮度对撞模式下电子环中的离子引起的束流不稳定性做了研究.计算了不同束团填充空隙下的离子俘获比,然后用自编的模拟程序对BTCF上快束流–离子不稳定性做了模拟跟踪,得到的快束流–离子不稳定性的增长时间和理论解析计算值基本一致.     

Blow Up in a Semilinear Wave Equation

We consider a semilinear wave equation of the form u_tt(x, t) - Δu(x, t) = - m(x, t)u_t(x, t) + ∇Φ(x) ⋅ ∇u(x, t ) + b(x)|u(x, t)|^{p-2}u(x, t) where p > 2. We show, under suitable conditions on m, Φ, b, that weak solutions break down in finite time if the initial energy is negative. This result improves an earlier one by the author [1].
