In this paper we extend the results obtained in [3], where are investigated the general settings of the two-dimensional complex Finsler manifolds, with respect to a local complex Berwald frame. The geometry of such manifolds is controlled by three real invariants which live on T ′M : two horizontal curvature invariants K and W and one vertical curvature invariant I. By means of these invariants are defined both the horizontal and the vertical holomorphic sectional curvatures. The complex Landsberg and Berwald spaces are of particular interest. Complex Berwald spaces coincide with K¨ahler spaces, in the two-dimensional case. We establish the necessary and sufficient condition under which K is a constant and we obtain a characterization for the K¨ahler purely Hermitian spaces by the fact K = W = constant and I = 0. For the class of complex Berwald spaces we have K = W = 0.Finally, a classification of two-dimensional complex Finsler spaces for which the horizontal curvature satisfies a special property is obtained. 相似文献

Area integral functions are introduced for sectorial operators on Lp-spaces. We establish the equivalence between the square and area integral functions for sectorial operators on Lp spaces. In the framework of inductive limits of partially ordered locally convex spaces, the notions of lastingly efficient points, lastingly weakly efficient points and lastingly globally properly efficient points are introduced. For several ordering cones, the notion of non-conflict is introduced. In this paper, we investigate the use of ultra weak variational formulation to solve a wave scattering problem in near field optics. In order to capture the sub-scale features of waves, we utilize evanescent wave functions together with plane wave functions to approximate the local properties of the field. The inherent heterogeneities of many geophysical systems often gives rise to fast and slow pathways to water and chemical movement. One approach to model solute transport through such media is by fractional diffusion equations with a space–time dependent variable coefficient. In this paper, a two-sided space fractional diffusion model with a space–time dependent variable coefficient and a nonlinear source term subject to zero Dirichlet boundary conditions is considered.Some finite volume methods to solve a fractional differential equation with a constant dispersion coefficient have been proposed. The spatial discretisation employs fractionally-shifted Grünwald formulas to discretise the Riemann–Liouville fractional derivatives at control volume faces in terms of function values at the nodes. However, these finite volume methods have not been extended to two-dimensional and three-dimensional problems in a natural manner. In this paper, a new weighted fractional finite volume method with a nonlocal operator (using nodal basis functions) for solving this two-sided space fractional diffusion equation is proposed. Some numerical results for the Crank–Nicholson fractional finite volume method are given to show the stability, consistency and convergence of our computational approach. This novel simulation technique provides excellent tools for practical problems even when a complex transition zone is involved. This technique can be extend to two-dimensional and three-dimensional problems with complex regions. 相似文献

We discuss various notions generalizing the concept of a homogeneous space to the setting of locally compact quantum groups. On the von Neumann algebra level we recall an interesting duality for such objects studied earlier by M. Izumi, R. Longo, S. Popa for compact Kac algebras and by M. Enock in the general case of locally compact quantum groups. A definition of a quantum homogeneous space is proposed along the lines of the pioneering work of Vaes on induction and imprimitivity for locally compact quantum groups. The concept of an embeddable quantum homogeneous space is selected and discussed in detail as it seems to be the natural candidate for the quantum analog of classical homogeneous spaces. Among various examples we single out the quantum analog of the quotient of the Cartesian product of a quantum group with itself by the diagonal subgroup, analogs of quotients by compact subgroups as well as quantum analogs of trivial principal bundles. The former turns out to be an interesting application of the duality mentioned above. 相似文献
