Marcinkiewicz–Zygmund Strong Laws for Infinite Variance Time Series

We study rate of convergence in the strong law of large numbers for finite and infinite variance time series in both contexts of weak and strong dependence.     

Long Memory with Seasonal Effects

This review is devoted to stationary discrete time second order processes whose covariance asymptotically behaves like an hyperbolically damped oscillating sequence. We present the two main ways of generating parametric models of this type. Then we gather some results concerning the influence of seasonality on the classical limit theorems. Finally, we present a simulation method which we use to try a semi parametric estimation procedure adapted from the non seasonal situation.     

Borel Subalgebras Redux with Examples from Algebraic and Quantum Groups

Both building upon and revising previous literature, this paper formulates the general notion of a Borel subalgebra B of a quasi-hereditary algebra A. We present various general constructions of Borel subalgebras, establish a triangular factorization of A, and relate the concept to graded Kazhdan–Lusztig theories in the sense of Cline et al. (Tôhoku Math. J. 45 (1993), 511–534). Various interesting types of Borel subalgebras arise naturally in different contexts. For example, `excellent" Borel subalgebras come about by abstracting the theory of Schubert varieties. Numerous examples from algebraic groups, q-Schur algebras, and quantum groups are considered in detail.     

Gaussian Limiting Behavior of the Rescaled Solution to the Linear Korteweg–de Vries Equation with Random Initial Conditions

We analyze the asymptotic behavior of the rescaled solution to the linear Korteweg–de Vries equation when the initial conditions are supposed to be random and weakly dependent. By means of the method of moments we prove the Gaussianity of the limiting process and we present its correlation function. The same technique is applied to the analysis of another third-order heat-type equation.     

X射线探测器图像的恢复研究

图像退化是引起X射线探测器图像质量下降的主要原因。图像恢复,可以提高系统的分辨率和对比度灵敏度。通过对射线成像系统图像退化的分析,介绍了反滤波信号恢复方法,并提出了一种近似恢复算法,该算法将反滤波恢复近似为除法运算的恢复。给出了恢复前后的图像及标准差的对比,实验结果表明了该算法的有效性。     

A Mechanical Model for Analyzing the Runaway Solutions in the Radiation Reaction Problem

In order to understand the rise of runaway solutions in the radiation reaction problem a mechanical model is used. An alternative demonstration of Daboul’s theorem, through Hurwitz’s criterion, is given. The origin of runaway solutions in electrodynamics is discussed. They arise when the particle has a negative mechanical mass or when approximations are used in the equation of motion. In the 1-dimensional mechanical model an exact and linear equation of motion for the particle is obtained, the corresponding exact solution is again runaway when the mechanical mass is negative. The exact solution is not runaway when the mechanical mass is positive. However, the use of approximations leads to an equation of motion which has runaway solutions. It is exhibited that the use of approximations in the 3-dimensional mechanical model is completely necessary because the general equation of motion for the particle is non-linear. The analysis of this case proceeds in a very similar way to the one carried out in electrodynamics. This means that the number of dimensions also plays an important role in the analysis.     

Data acquisition in the EUDET project

The goal of the EUDET project is the development and construction of infrastructure to permit detector R&D for the international linear collider (ILC) with larger scale prototypes. It encompasses major detector components: the vertex detector, the tracker and the calorimeters. We describe here the status and plans of the project with emphasis on issues related to data acquisition for future test beam experiments.      

摄像机标定技术在活塞视觉检测与分选中的应用研究

在机器人视觉检测及自动化分捡中,准确地校正摄像机镜头畸变对获取物体精确图像及确定物体准确位置具有重要意义。采用了带有径向畸变的小孔摄像机模型及基于线段斜率的标定方法。在标定过程中,应用线性算法求解出了镜头的径向畸变系数。实验表明,采用的标定方法简捷有效,其标定结果能够满足研究需要。     

基于选择性支持向量机集成的混沌时间序列预测

提出了一种基于聚类的选择性支持向量机集成预测模型.为提高支持向量机集成的泛化能力，采用自组织映射和K均值聚类算法结合的聚类组合算法，从每簇中选择出精度最高的子支持向量机进行集成，可以保证子支持向量机有较高精度并提高了子支持向量机之间的差异度.该方法能以较小的代价显著提高支持向量机集成的泛化能力.采用该方法对Mackey-Glass混沌时间序列和Lorenz系统生成的混沌时间序列进行预测实验，结果表明可以对混沌时间序列进行准确预测，验证了该方法的有效性. 关键词： 支持向量机 集成 混沌时间序列 聚类
