On the construction of periodic solutions of kaplan-yorke type for some differential delay equations

In this paper we point out the main idea to yield periodic solutions of Kaplan-Yorke type of differential delay equations. Some new sufficient conditions for the existence of Kaplan-Yorke type periodic solutions have been given. Many interesting examples are also disscused.     

DFT Simulations as Valuable Tool to Support NMR Characterization of Halide Perovskites: the Case of Pure and Mixed Halide Perovskites

Solid state NMR spectroscopy is swiftly emerging as useful tool to characterize the structure, composition and dynamic properties of lead halide perovskites. On the other hand, interpretation of solid state NMR signatures is often challenging, because of the potential presence of many overlapping signals in small range of chemical shifts, hence complicating the extraction of detailed structural features. Here, we demonstrate the reliability of periodic Density Functional Theory in providing theoretical support for the NMR characterization of halide perovskite compounds, considering nuclei with spin I=1/2. For light ¹H and ¹³C nuclei, we predict NMR chemical shifts in good agreement with experiment, further highlighting the effects of motional narrowing. Accurate prediction of the NMR response of ²⁰⁷Pb nuclei is comparably more challenging, but we successfully reproduce the downshift in frequency when changing the halide composition from pure iodine to pure bromine. Furthermore, we confirm NMR as ideal tool to study mixed halide perovskite compounds, currently at the limelight for tandem solar cells and color-tunable light emission.     

Global asymptotical stability of a unique almost periodic solution for enterprise clusters based on ecology theory with time-varying delays and feedback controls

This paper is concerned with some dynamic behavior of enterprises cluster constituted by n satellite enterprises and a dominant enterprise. We present a model involving time-varying delays and feedback controls based on ecology theory, which effectively describe the competition and cooperation of enterprises cluster in real economic environments. Applying the comparison theorem of differential equations and constructing a suitable Lyapunov functional, sufficient conditions which guarantee the existence of a unique globally asymptotically stable nonnegative almost periodic solution of the system are obtained. Finally, we present an example to explain the economical significance of mathematical results.     

Derivation of invariant varieties of periodic points from singularity confinement in the case of Toda map

We have shown in [1] that the invariant varieties of periodic points (IVPP) of all periods of some higher dimensional rational maps can be derived, iteratively, from the singularity confinement (SC). We generalize this algorithm, in this paper, to apply to any birational map, which has more invariants than the half of the dimension.
