Minimum selections and fixed points of set-valued operators in Banach spaces with some uniform convexity

A new continuity theorem of minimum selection is presented for a continuous set-valued operator from a topological space into a Banach space with some uniform convexity. As applications, some problems concerning minimum right inverses for linear operators and minimum fixed points for condensing set-valued nonlinear operators are discussed. Also, the existence of minimum solutions for an integral inclusion is proved.     

Hybrid approximation of solutions of nonlinear operator equations and application to equation of Hammerstein-type

In this paper we study hybrid iterative scheme for finding a common element of set of solutions of generalized mixed equilibrium problem, set of common fixed points of finite family of weak relatively nonexpansive mapping and null spaces of finite family of γ-inverse strongly monotone mappings in a 2-uniformly convex and uniformly smooth real Banach space. Our results extend, improve and generalize the results of several authors which are announced recently. Application of our theorem to solution of equations of Hammerstein-type is of independent interest.     

Convergence analysis for finite family of relatively quasi nonexpansive mappings and systems of equilibrium problems

In this paper, a new iterative scheme by hybrid method is constructed. Strong convergence of the scheme to a common element of the set of common fixed points of finite family of relatively quasi-nonexpansive mappings and set of common solutions of a system of equilibrium problems in a uniformly convex and uniformly smooth real Banach space is proved using the properties of generalized f-projection operator. Our results extend important recent results.     

Some generalizations of locally and weakly locally uniformly convex space

In this paper, we prove that strongly convex space and almost locally uniformly rotund space, very convex space and weakly almost locally uniformly rotund space are respectively equivalent. We also investigate a few properties of k-strongly convex space and k-very convex space, and discuss the applications of strongly convex space and very convex space in approximation theory.     

Strongly amenable semigroups and nonlinear fixed point properties

A semi-topological semigroup is strongly left amenable if there is a compact left ideal group in the spectrum of its LUC-compactification. In this paper, we want to study those objects, and study some fixed point property related to non-expansive mapping and other similar kind of mapping.     

Effect of partial immunity on transmission dynamics of dengue disease with optimal control

Dengue fever is one of the most dangerous vector‐borne diseases in the world in terms of death and economic cost. Hence, the modeling of dengue fever is of great significance to understand the dynamics of dengue. In this paper, we extend dengue disease transmission models by including transmit vaccinated class, in which a portion of recovered individual loses immunity and moves to the susceptibles with limited immunity and hence a less transmission probability. We obtain the threshold dynamics governed by the basic reproduction number R₀; it is shown that the disease‐free equilibrium is locally asymptotically stable if R₀ ≤ 1, and the system is uniformly persistence if R₀ > 1. We do sensitivity analysis in order to identify the key factors that greatly affect the dengue infection, and the partial rank correlation coefficient (PRCC) values for R₀ shows that the bitting rate is the most effective in lowering dengue new infections, and moreover, control of mosquito size plays an essential role in reducing equilibrium level of dengue infection. Hence, the public are highly suggested to control population size of mosquitoes and to use mosquito nets. By formulating the control objective, associated with the low infection and costs, we propose an optimal control question. By the application of optimal control theory, we analyze the existence of optimal control and obtain necessary conditions for optimal controls. Numerical simulations are carried out to show the effectiveness of control strategies; these simulations recommended that control measures such as protection from mosquito bites and mosquito eradication strategies effectively control and eradicate the dengue infections during the whole epidemic.

A THEOREM OF UNIFORMLY ASYMPTOTIC STABILITY FOR DELAY DIFFERENCE SYSTEM

In this paper, we establish a criterion of unformly asymptotic stability for finite delay difference systems in terms of two measures by employing Lyapunov functionals method.     

Generalized projection and approximation of fixed points of nonself maps

Let K be a nonempty closed convex proper subset of a real uniformly convex and uniformly smooth Banach space E; T:K→E be an asymptotically weakly suppressive, asymptotically weakly contractive or asymptotically nonextensive map with F(T){xK: Tx=x}≠. Using the notion of generalized projection, iterative methods for approximating fixed points of T are studied. Convergence theorems with estimates of convergence rates are proved. Furthermore, the stability of the methods with respect to perturbations of the operators and with respect to perturbations of the constraint sets are also established.
