Measurement uncertainty of selenium determination in the reference material Seronorm Trace Elements Serum by hydride generation atomic fluorescence spectrometry

 An analytical result is not considered to be complete without a statement of the measurement uncertainty associated with it. Evaluation of measurement uncertainty is therefore an essential part of every determination. In the present study the measurement uncertainty of the result of determination of selenium in the reference material Seronorm Trace Elements Serum was studied. The combination of a digestion procedure using sulfuric acid, V₂O₅ in H₂SO₄ and hydrogen peroxide and the continuous flow approach of hydride generation atomic fluorescence spectrometry (HG-AFS) detection was used for selenium determination. The total uncertainty budget was calculated with the help of the GUM Workbench program, in which computations follow the rules of the ’ISO guide to the expression of uncertainty in measurement’. The major sources of uncertainty were found to be due to the recovery of the procedure, measurement of peak heights and the purity of Na₂SeO₃. A selenium mass fraction of 77.1±4.8 ng/g (with a coverage factor of 2.1, 95% probability) was determined, which is comparable with the recommended value of 80 ng/g. Sufficient Stochastic Maximum Principle for the Optimal Control of Jump Diffusions and Applications to Finance

We give a verification theorem by employing Arrow's generalization of the Mangasarian sufficient condition to a general jump diffusion setting and show the connections of adjoint processes to dynamic programming. The result is applied to financial optimization problems.     

Note on André's reflection principle

This note generalizes André's reflection principle to give a new combinatorial proof of a formula for the number of lattice paths lying within certain trapezoids.

近些年来，许多处理近似问题的方法陆续被提出，其中利用Rough集理论计算两个集合的并和交的Rough隶属函数方法是被用较多的一种方法，但毕竟该方法精度较差。为此，介绍了一种精度较高的计算两个集合的并和交的Rough隶属函数方法，它克服了前者利用Rough集理论计算Rough隶属函数的复杂性，而迎来了简单和高精度的特点。     

HILBERTIAN INVARIANCE PRINCIPLE FOR EMPIRICAL PROCESS ASSOCIATED WITH A MARKOV PROCESS

The authors establish the Hilbertian invariance principle for the empirical process of a stationary Markov process, by extending the forward-backward martingale decomposition of Lyons-Meyer-Zheng to the Hilbert space valued additive functionals associated with general non-reversible Markov processes.

Classical Limit of Expectation Values in a Wave Packet Involving Few Stationary States

Expectation values of physical quantities in a wave packet involving few stationary states in an infinite square well are calculated. Explicit results show that the expectation values in the classical limit go over to the corresponding classical quantity in the form of the arithmetic mean (in mathematical term, the Fejér's average) of the partial Fourier series converging to the classical quantity. The number of the stationary states is that of the partial Fourer series in the Fejér's average. The quantum uncertainty is then demonstrated to have a classical counterpart.     

一种基于闭环优化的新型鲁棒预测控制方法

针对带约束的凸多面体线性不确定模型，提出了一种新型鲁棒预测控制方法，它采用离散化的不确定模型构造最小－最大优化控制问题，并在其中直接引入状态反馈机制，与其他最小－最大预测控制方法相比，这种方法等效于增加了控制序列的长度，为优化问题增加了更多的自由度，从而扩大了可行域，作为最小化目标的是离散化不确定系统在整个预测时域上二次型成本函数的最大值，而不是各预测阶段应成本项的上界之和，从而减少了与最小－最大优化相关的方程个数，有利于降低计算复杂性，文中进一步证明了不确定系统的闭环稳定性取决于优化问题在初始时刻的可行性，并将优化问题转化为线性矩阵不等式形式。最后，以数值仿赵例子验证了方法的有效性。     

Heat Kernel and Hardy’s Theorem for Jacobi Transform

In this paper, the authors obtain sharp upper and lower hounds for the heat kernel associated with Jacobi transform, and get some analogues of Hardy‘s Theorem for Jacobi transform by using the sharp estimate of the heat kernel.
