308nmXeCl准分子激光双侧面对称泵浦之形腔染料激光器研究

描述了用３０８ｎｍＸｅＣｌ准分子激光双侧面对称泵浦之形腔染料激光器，重点探讨了这种激光器的输出光束质量改善问题，实验发现这种双侧面对称泵浦较传统的横向泵浦，光束质量有较好的改善，对于２×１０－３ｍｏｌ／ｌ浓度的ｃｏｕｍａｒｉｎ４６０染料甲醇溶液，在波长４６０ｎｍ处，实验得到１１．７％的能量转换效率     

HYPERFINITE TRANSVERSAL THEORY. II

We continue the investigation of validity of Hall's theorem in the case of the Loeb space of an internal, uniformly distributed, hyperfinite measure space initiated in1992 by the author. Some new classes of graphs are introduced for which the measure theoretic version of Hall's theorem still holds.

     

MM-Wave Band Transversal Filter with Improved Spurious Characteristics

A spurious-suppressed transversal filter using the multiple-coupled line is proposed. The frequency characteristics of the multiple-coupled line are analyzed in detail. In order to compare the performances, the novel spurious-suppressed transversal filter using triple-coupled half-wavelength directional couplers is designed at 30 GHz. The spurious-suppression characteristics of the proposed transversal filter are verified by the full wave analysis and the measurement. The spurious response of the fabricated filter is effectively suppressed and the large attenuation is obtained in the stopband.

On generalized inverse transversals

Let S be a regular semigroup, S° an inverse subsemigroup of S.S° is called a generalized inverse transversal of S, if V（x）∩S°≠Ф. In this paper, some properties of this kind of semigroups are discussed. In particular, a construction theorem is obtained which contains some recent results in the literature as its special cases.     

The nonexistence of projective planes of order 12 with a collineation group of order 8

In this article, we prove that there does not exist a symmetric transversal design which admits an automorphism group of order 4 acting semiregularly on the point set and the block set. We use an orbit theorem for symmetric transversal designs to prove our result. As a corollary of the result, we prove that there is no projective plane of order 12 admitting a collineation group of order 8. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Combin Designs 16: 411–430, 2008     

A Three‐Factor Product Construction for Mutually Orthogonal Latin Squares

It is well known that mutually orthogonal latin squares, or MOLS, admit a (Kronecker) product construction. We show that, under mild conditions, “triple products” of MOLS can result in a gain of one square. In terms of transversal designs, the technique is to use a construction of Rolf Rees twice: once to obtain a coarse resolution of the blocks after one product, and next to reorganize classes and resolve the blocks of the second product. As consequences, we report a few improvements to the MOLS table and obtain a slight strengthening of the famous theorem of MacNeish.     

On the state of strength‐three covering arrays

A covering array of size N, strength t, degree k, and order υ is a k × N array on υ symbols in which every t × N subarray contains every possible t × 1 column at least once. We present explicit constructions, constructive upper bounds on the size of various covering arrays, and compare our results with those of a commercial product. Applications of covering arrays include software testing, drug screening, and data compression. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
