From Fibring to Cryptofibring. A Solution to the Collapsing Problem

The semantic collapse problem is perhaps the main difficulty associated to the very powerful mechanism for combining logics known as fibring. In this paper we propose cryptofibred semantics as a generalization of fibred semantics, and show that it provides a solution to the collapsing problem. In particular, given that the collapsing problem is a special case of failure of conservativeness, we formulate and prove a sufficient condition for cryptofibring to yield a conservative extension of the logics being combined. The Universal Plateau Structure of Lyapunov Exponents for Period Doubling Cascade Attractors

Using algebraic. analysis method for periodic orbits of Hknon map, we derive the boundary equations of stable window and Lyapunov exponent plateau region on the space of nonintegrability parameter A and dissipation parameter J. Ekom the real root of these equations, we obtain the plateau width of Lyapunov exponent Wp = Ap,max - Ap,min and the stable tvindorv width Ws = Ap,max - Ap,min for high periodic orbits. The calculated result of plateau structure ratio α4 = Wp/WS for period-4 orbit agrees with the conjectural analytical formula: α4 = 2J2/(1+J4). Hence our result presents further evidence of universal dependence of Lyapunov exponent plateau structure on the dissipation parameter for period doubling cascade attractors of nonlinear system in transition from order to chaos.  相似文献

Angular anisotropy and dichroism in molecular Auger spectroscopy following photo-absorption

This paper shows that angular distribution of spin-unresolved Auger electrons emitted in the decay of a vacancy created by the absorption of a photon in a certain class of free, unpolarized and gaseous non-linear molecules is completely characterized by three, rather than by two well-known parameters. The presence of this additional third parameter gives rise to circular dichroic effect which varies as cosine of the angle made by the departing Auger electron with the direction of incidence of the circularly polarized radiation. Linear dichroic effect varies as the square of sine of the angle made by the direction of emission of Auger electron and the polar axis of the space frame. Linear and circular dichroism in the angular correlation between theE 1 photoelectron and Auger electron emitted sequentially from a molecule belonging to one of the 32 point groups has also been investigated.  相似文献

The synthesis of novel polyisobutylene (PIB)/poly(dimethylsiloxane) (PDMS) bicomponent networks is described. The synthesis strategy (see Figure 1) was to prepare well-defined and -characterized allyl-tritelechelic polyisobutylenes [ϕ(PIB—C—C=C)3] and SiH-ditelechelic poly(dimethylsiloxanes) (HSi–PDMS–SiH) and then crosslink these moieties by hydrosilation. The ϕ(PIB—C—C=C)3 was prepared by living isobutylene polymerization followed by end-quenching with allyltrimethylsilane, whereas the HSi–PDMS–SiH was obtained by equilibrium polymerization of octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane and tetramethyldisiloxane. The detailed structures of the starting polymers were characterized by GPC and 1H-NMR spectroscopy. A series of PIB/PDMS bicomponent networks of varying compositions and average molecular weights between crosslinks (M c) of ∼ 20,000 g/mol were assembled. Optimum crosslinking conditions were defined in terms of H2PtCl6 catalyst concentration, nature of solvent, time, temperature, and stoichiometry of ∼ CH2CH=CH2/∼SiH groups, allowing for the convenient synthesis of well-defined model bicomponent networks. In this study, the electrical properties of the new polyamide–urea (ICIC–MPD) reverse osmosis composite membrane were analyzed via two self-made test cells. The electrical potential difference across membrane was measured via a perpendicular flow through mode potential difference measurement cell, and the electrical conductivity of membrane was tested by a tangential flow across mode conductivity measurement cell. Both streaming potential coefficient and gap between the upward and downward curves were determined by the plot of electrical potential difference versus up-loading and down-loading external pressure difference at both sides of membrane. It was found that pH of electrolyte solution has strong impact on streaming potential coefficient and electrical conductivity due to the dissociation of COOH group and protonation of NH2 group of the active layer of ICIC–MPD membrane. It was also observed that both concentration of monomer 5-isocyanato-isophthaloyl chloride (ICIC) in the organic phase and contact time of organic phase with aqueous phase play an important role in salt rejection rate, gap between curves and electrical conductivity of the prepared ICIC–MPD membrane, and experimental results indicate that salt rejection rate of ICIC–MPD membrane is closely correlated to gap between curves at either polymerization condition. In addition, the effects of fouling behaviors on electrical potential difference and electrical conductivity of membrane were also discussed.  相似文献

本文研究了来自同一页印刷品的中、英文文字文件,在规则的横、纵切割方式下,碎纸片的拼接复原方法.文中利用碎纸片图片边缘灰度值数据的匹配度和行间距、字高等文字排版数据,建立了一系列拼接复原模型.首先对仅纵切方式下的碎纸片拼接问题,建立了基于碎片边缘匹配的图像拼接复原模型,根据碎片边缘灰度值向量间的距离来衡量两张图片的匹配度.然后对中、英文碎纸片分别提出基于像素点投影和灰度计数的分类方法,将处在同一行的碎片分为一类,使用拼接复原模型完成行内的拼接.最后通过行间距信息完成了行与行之间的匹配,从而完成了整份文件的拼接复原.  相似文献
