Real hypersurfaces with constant totally real bisectional curvature in complex space forms

In this paper we classify real hypersurfaces with constant totally real bisectional curvature in a non flat complex space form M _m (c), c ≠ 0 as those which have constant holomorphic sectional curvature given in [6] and [13] or constant totally real sectional curvature given in [11].     

Totally geodesic submanifolds of maximal rank in symmetric spaces

We gave a complete list of totally geodesic submanifolds of maximal rank in symmetric spaces of noncompact type. The compact cases can be obtained by the duality.     

Valuations on arithmetic surfaces

In this paper, we give the definition of the height of a valuation and the definition of the big field Cp,G, where p is a prime and GR is an additive subgroup containing 1. We conclude that Cp,G is a field and Cp,G is algebraically closed. Based on this the author obtains the complete classification of valuations on arithmetic surfaces. A Remark on Concircularly Flat Totally Real Minimal Submanifolds in CP^n

Let M be a concircularly fiat totally real minimal submanifold in CP4. The infimum Vm of the volume V （M） of M is obtained, also the necessary and sufficient conditions of ＂V（M）=Vm＂ is given.     

Note on elongations of totally projective p-groups by p ω+n -projective p-groups

It is proved that any Σ-group, which is a special elongation of a totally projective abelian p-group by a p ^ω+1-projective abelian p-group, is totally projective. In particular, each p ^ω+1-projective abelian Σ-p-group is a direct sum of countable p-groups of lengths not exceeding ω + 1. This strengthens our recent result published in Comment. Math. Univ. On totally multicolored stars

Given an edge‐coloring of a graph G, a subgraph M of G will be called totally multicolored if no two edges of M receive the same color. Let h(G, K_1,q) be the minimum integer such that every edge‐coloring of G using exactly h(G, K_1,q) colors produces at least one totally multicolored copy of K_1,q (the q‐star) in G. In this article, an upper bound of h(G, K_1,q) is presented, as well as some applications of this upper bound. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.     

Pairwise disjoint eight‐shaped curves in hybrid planes

We introduce a suitable notion of eight‐shaped curve in the product S × ? of a Suslin line S for the real line ?, and we prove that if S is dense in itself, then every collection of pairwise disjoint eight‐shaped curves in S × ? is countable.
