On compact submanifolds of nonpositive external curvature in Riemannian spaces

In this paper we consider compact multidimensional surfaces of nonpositive external curvature in a Riemannian space. If the curvature of the underlying space is ≥ 1 and the curvature of the surface is ≤ 1, then in small codimension the surface is a totally geodesic submanifold that is locally isometric to the sphere. Under stricter restrictions on the curvature of the underlying space, the submanifold is globally isometric to the unit sphere. Characterization of totally umbilic hypersurfaces in a space form by circles

In this paper we characterize totally umbilic hypersurfaces in a space form by a property of the extrinsic shape of circles on hypersurfaces. de Sitter空间中有单位平行平均曲率的类空子流形

讨论在de Sitter空间Sp^n p中具有平行的单位平均曲率向量的紧致类空子流形M^n的第二基本形式长度拼挤问题，通过估计第二基本形式模长平方的Laplacian，得到de Sitter空间中的余维数压缩定理，给出了具有常数量曲率的这种子流形是全脐球面的一个充分条件．     

Some slant submanifolds of <Emphasis Type="Italic">S</Emphasis>-manifolds

Summary We study some special types of slant submanifolds of S-manifolds related to the second fundamental form of the immersion: totally f-geodesic and f-umbilical, pseudo-umbilical and austere submanifolds. We also give several examples of such submanifolds.
