The Segal-Bargmann transform for Lévy white noise functionals associated with non-integrable Lévy processes

By using a method of truncation, we derive the closed form of the Segal-Bargmann transform of Lévy white noise functionals associated with a Lévy process with the Lévy spectrum without the moment condition. Besides, a sufficient and necessary condition to the existence of Lévy stochastic integrals is obtained.     

Common fixed point results for noncommuting mappings without continuity in cone metric spaces

The existence of coincidence points and common fixed points for mappings satisfying certain contractive conditions, without appealing to continuity, in a cone metric space is established. These results generalize several well-known comparable results in the literature.     

A new method for characterizing patterns of neural spike trains and its application

A method for characterizing and identifying firing patterns of neural spike trains is presented. Based on the time evolution of a neural spike train, the counting process is constructed as a time-dependent stair-like function. Three characteristic variables defined at sequential moments, including two formal derivatives and the integration of the counting process, are introduced to reflect the temporal patterns of a spike train. The reconstruction of a spike train with these variables verify the validity of this method. And a model of cold receptor is used as an example to investigate the temporal patterns under different temperature conditions. The most important contribution of our method is that it not only can reflect the features of spike train patterns clearly by using their geometrical properties, but also it can reflect the trait of time, especially the change of bursting of spike train. So it is a useful complementarity to conventional method of averaging.     

Iterative proximal regularization of the modified Lagrangian functional for solving the quasi-variational Signorini inequality

The iterative Uzawa method with a modified Lagrangian functional is used to numerically solve the semicoercive Signorini problem with friction (quasi-variational inequality).     

Global asymptotic stability of solutions of a functional integral equation

Using the technique of measures of noncompactness we prove a theorem on the existence and global asymptotic stability of solutions of a functional integral equation. The investigations are placed in the Banach space of real functions defined, continuous and bounded on an unbounded interval. A few realizations of the result obtained are indicated.

Strong convergence theorems for approximation of common fixed points of asymptoticallyφ-quasi-pseudocontractive mappings and asymptoticallyφ-strictly- pseudocontractive mappings are proved in real Banach spaces by using a new compos- ite implicit iteration scheme with errors.The results presented in this paper extend and improve the main results of Sun,Gu and Osilike published on J.Math.Anal. Appl.

Iterative convergence theorems for maximal monotone operators and relatively nonexpansive mappings

In this paper, some iterative schemes for approximating the common element of the set of zero points of maximal monotone operators and the set of fixed points of relatively nonexpansive mappings in a real uniformly smooth and uniformly convex Banach space are proposed. Some strong convergence theorems are obtained, to extend the previous work.     

MULTIPLE POSITIVE SOLUTIONS TO SOME SECOND-ORDER m-POINT BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEMS

Multiplicity of positive solutions to some second order m-point boundary value problems are considered. By fixed-point theorems in a cone, some new results are obtained. The associated Green’s function of these problems are also given.
