Interior point cutting plane method for optimal power flow

In this paper, an interior point cutting plane method (IPCPM)is applied to solve optimal power flow (OPF) problems. Comparedwith the simplex cutting plane method (SCPM), the IPCPM is simpler,and efficient because of its polynomial-time characteristic.Issues in implementing IPCPM for OPF problems are addressed,including (1) how to generate cutting planes without using thesimplex tableau, (2) how to identify the basis variables inIPCPM, and (3) how to generate mixed integer cutting planes.The calculation speed of the proposed algorithm is further enhancedby utilizing the sparsity features of the OPF formulation. Numericalsimulations on IEEE 14-300-bus test systems have shown thatthe proposed method is effective.     

Partially Classical States of a Boson Field

Employing positive-definiteness arguments we analyse Boson field states, which combine classical and quantum mechanical features (signal and noise), in a constructive manner. Mathematically, they constitute Bauer simplexes within the convex, weak-*-compact state space of the C*-Weyl algebra, defined by a presymplectic test function space (smooth one-Boson wave functions) and are affinely homeomorphic to a state space of a classical field. The regular elements are expressed in terms of weak distributions (probability premeasures) on the dual test function space. The Bauer simplex arising from the bare vacuum is shown to generalize the quantum optical photon field states with positive P-functions.     

Letter: Note on Invariants of the Weyl Tensor

Algebraically special gravitational fields are described using algebraic and differential invariants of the Weyl tensor. A type III invariant is also given and calculated for Robinson-Trautman spaces.     

利用弧形光栅尺测量大型转轴扭矩的原理研究

利用弧形光栅尺的旋转微位移测量功能,组建一组测量体系,用于测量巨型转轴的扭矩。采用四组相同的弧形光栅尺同时测量两截面的相对转角,通过多点测量实现误差均化,得出了消除转轴直径对测量影响的公式,使仪器的环境适应能力得到了极大地提高。根据不同的工作情况,提出了相应的动态测量扭矩的计算方程。实现了大型机械设备主传动的动力监测,为设备自动化、智能化奠定了基础。

Al/Al2O3P金属基复合材料的静动态压缩性能及损伤分析

用气压浸渗工艺制备了体积分数40％～50％Al2O3颗粒增强纯铝基复合材料，使用了4种不同尺寸的Al2O3颗粒，其平均粒径分别为5μm、10μm、30μm和60μm．测定了这些复合材料的静、动态压缩性能，并通过材料压缩前后密度变化的测量定量表征了材料的累计损伤，结果表明，与基体材料相似，这些复合材料表现出明显的应变率敏感性；当增强颗粒平均粒径小于60μm时，材料的累计损伤基本与应变率无关，而主要取决于材料的应变．材料中颗粒的破裂主要是由颗粒间的相互作用引起的．较小尺寸颗粒增强的复合材料具有较高的流动应力和较小的累计损伤，并随着颗粒体积分数的增加，材料的流动应力和损伤率都相应增加．

A multifractal decomposition according to rate of returns

For one‐dimensional simple symmetric random walk, the Hausdorff and packing dimensions of sets of sample paths with prescribed rate of returns to the origin are determined. Focusing-defocusing phenomena of radio echo signal after passage of the morning solar terminator

Summary Campaign results of high-repetition ionospheric soundings, performed at the ionospheric station of Rome using a Digisonde 128P, are presented. We introduce an index derived from run rapid ionograms that can be used to detect oscillations of isodensity surfaces ofF ionospheric region started by morning solar terminator.
