设F为一个域,R为一个带有对合的F-代数,如果R上每一个矩阵都有奇异值分解(简称SVD),则称R为一个有SVD性质的F-代数.本文指出:R为一个有SVD性质的F-代数的充要条件是:R同构于R~+,或R~+上二次扩域,或R~+上四元数体((-1,-1)/R~+),其中R~+为R的对称元集合,并且R~+为一个Galois序闭域.     

A Survey on Explicit Representation Formulae for Fundamental Solutions of Linear Partial Differential Operators

In the present article, we aim at treating the existence of fundamental solutions of linear partial differential operators with constant coefficients from the viewpoint of setting up explicit formulae yielding fundamental solutions.     

Some new classes of stochastic order relations among arithmetic random variables, with applications in actuarial sciences

Recently, Fishbum and Lavalle (1995) and Lefèvre and Utev (1996) have considered some stochastic order relations specific for arithmetic random variables. The present work is concerned with these orderings, together with two other classes of stochastic order relations closely related. First, attention is paid to characterizations and various properties of all these orderings. Then, sufficient conditions of crossing-type for the two new classes of orderings are derived and extrema among discrete random variables are deduced. This is applied in actuarial sciences to obtain new bounds for the classical single life premiums as well as for the probability of ruin in the compound binomial risk model.     

处理原子-辐射场相互作用系统的变分方法

用Heisenberg-Weyl(简H-W)群直积SU(2)群上的相干态表述了原子-辐射场相互作用系统的非平衡态统计力学.引入一个新定义的含时分布函数,将非平衡态下密度矩阵所满足的von Neumann方程转化成可分离变量的偏微分方程,给出了方程的形式解,算符的平均值表示.本文还就便于作微扰展开的相互作用绘景作了讨论.     

A globally convergent Newton method for solving strongly monotone variational inequalities

Variational inequality problems have been used to formulate and study equilibrium problems, which arise in many fields including economics, operations research and regional sciences. For solving variational inequality problems, various iterative methods such as projection methods and the nonlinear Jacobi method have been developed. These methods are convergent to a solution under certain conditions, but their rates of convergence are typically linear. In this paper we propose to modify the Newton method for variational inequality problems by using a certain differentiable merit function to determine a suitable step length. The purpose of introducing this merit function is to provide some measure of the discrepancy between the solution and the current iterate. It is then shown that, under the strong monotonicity assumption, the method is globally convergent and, under some additional assumptions, the rate of convergence is quadratic. Limited computational experience indicates the high efficiency of the proposed method.

本文引进了广义极限鞅的概念,证明了 L~1有界的广义极限鞅 a.s.收敛于—可积随机变量。这样推广了通常极限鞅的相应收敛定理,并回答了 Stout 提出的问题:L~1有界的弱鞅在一定的条件下是 a.s.收敛的。     

Riemannian Manifolds in Which Certain Curvature Operator Has Constant Eigenvalues along Each Circle

Riemannian manifolds for which a natural curvature operator has constant eigenvalues on circles are studied. A local classification in dimensions two and three is given. In the 3-dimensional case one gets all locally symmetric spaces and all Riemannian manifolds with the constant principal Ricci curvatures r ₁ = r ₂ = 0, r ₃= 0 , which are not locally homogeneous, in general.     

自相似结构壳模型

为了扩展以简谐振子为基矢的常规壳模型（ＳＭ）计算到晕核，提出了自相似结构壳模型（ＳＳＭ）．通过对简谐振子动能项和势能项的重度规以及单粒子平均场模拟，可以得到ＳＳＭ中的单粒子轨道有态相关的圆频率，在ＳＳＭ中，晕核大的均方根半径、厚的中子皮以及Ｂｏｒｒｏｍｅａｎ晕核和的束缚态性质能够再现出来。     

一类新的插值结点

有界单连通区域Ｇ，其边界θＧ＝Г∈（１，α），α〉０。本计算节以广义Ｆａｂｅｒ多项式φｎ（ｚ）的零点为插值结点的Ｌａｇｒａｎｇｅ插值多项式的逼近性质，得到了它对Ａ（Ｇ↑－）中的函数的一致逼近阶和平均逼近阶的估计，并且得到了它对Ｅ＾ｐ（Ｇ）中函数的平均逼近阶的估计，还指出关于平均逼近阶的估计是不可改进的。     

Optimal algebraic multilevel preconditioning for local refinement along a line

The application of some recently proposed algebraic multilevel methods for the solution of two-dimensional finite element problems on nonuniform meshes is studied. The locally refined meshes are created by the newest vertex mesh refinement method. After the introduction of this refinement technique it is shown that, by combining levels of refinement, a preconditioner of optimal order can be constructed for the case of local refinement along a line. Its relative condition number is accurately estimated. Numerical tests demonstrating the performance of the proposed preconditioners will be reported in a forthcoming paper.
