It is well known that there is a close connection between tame kernels and ideal class groups of number fields. However, the latter is a very difficult subject in number theory. In this paper, we prove some results connecting the p^n-rank of the tame kernel of a cyclic cubic field F with the p^n-rank of the coinvariants of μp^n×CI(δE,T) under the action of the Galois group, where E = F(ζp^n ) and T is the finite set of primes of E consisting of the infinite primes and the finite primes dividing p. In particular, if F is a cyclic cubic field with only one ramified prime and p = 3, n = 2, we apply the results of the tame kernels to prove some results of the ideal class groups of E, the maximal real subfield of E and F(ζ3).  相似文献

We describe the valued Gabriel quiver of a wedge product of coalgebras and study the category of comodules of a semiprime coalgebra. In particular, we prove that any monomial semiprime k-tame fc-tame coalgebra is string. We also prove a version of Eisenbud-Griffith theorem for coalgebras, namely, any hereditary semiprime strictly quasi-finite coalgebra is serial.  相似文献

We investigate the comodule representation category over the Morita-Takeuchi context coalgebra Γ and study the Gorensteinness of Γ. Moreover, we determine explicitly all Gorenstein injective comodules over the Morita-Takeuchi context coalgebra Γ and discuss the localization in Gorenstein coalgebras. Buch and Fulton [9] conjectured the nonnegativity of the quiver coefficients appearing in their formula for a quiver cycle. Knutson, Miller and Shimozono [24] proved this conjecture as an immediate consequence of their component formula. We present an alternative proof of the component formula by substituting combinatorics for Gröbner degeneration [23, 24]. We relate the component formula to the work of Buch, Kresch, Tamvakis and the author [10] where a splitting formula for Schubert polynomials in terms of quiver coefficients was obtained. We prove analogues of this latter result for the type BCD-Schubert polynomials of Billey and Haiman [4]. The form of these analogues indicate that it should be interesting to pursue a geometric context that explains them.  相似文献

We study the relationship between representation theoretic properties and homological properties of orders. We show that there is a close relationship among Auslander orders, τ-categories and Auslander regular rings.
