We prove that the free metabelian Lie algebra M ₃ of rank 3 over an arbitrary field K admits strictly nontame primitive elements.     

On the McKay quivers and <Emphasis Type="Italic">m</Emphasis>-Cartan matrices

In this paper, we introduce the m-Cartan matrix and observe that some properties of the quadratic form associated to the Cartan matrix of an Euclidean diagram can be generalized to the m-Cartan matrix of a McKay quiver. We also describe the McKay quiver for a finite abelian subgroup of a special linear group. Geometry of the Moment Map for Representations of Quivers

We study the moment map associated to the cotangent bundle of the space of representations of a quiver, determining when it is flat, and giving a stratification of its Marsden–Weinstein reductions. In order to do this we determine the possible dimension vectors of simple representations of deformed preprojective algebras. In an appendix we use deformed preprojective algebras to give a simple proof of much of Kac's Theorem on representations of quivers in characteristic zero.     

GIT-equivalence and semi-stable subcategories of quiver representations

In this paper, we answer the question of when the subcategory of semi-stable representations is the same for two rational vectors for an acyclic quiver. This question has been previously answered by Ingalls, Paquette, and Thomas in the tame case in [14]. Here we take a more invariant theoretic approach, to answer this question in general. We recover the known result in the tame case.     

Moduli Problems of Sheaves Associated with Oriented Trees

To every oriented tree we associate vector bundle problems. We define semistability concepts for these vector bundle problems and establish the existence of moduli spaces. As an important application, we obtain an algebraic construction of the moduli space of holomorphic triples.

In this paper,we introduce a polynomial sequence in K[x],in which two neigh- bor polynomials satisfy a wonderful property.Using that,we give partial answer of an open problem:ifφ(x,y,z)=(f(x,y),g(x,y,z),z),which sends every linear coordinate to a coor- dinate,thenφis an automorphism of K[x,y,z].As a byproduct,we give an easy proof of the welt-known Jung's Theorem.     

Generators and Relations for O

Tate's algorithm for computing O for rings of integers in a number field has been adapted for the computer and gives explicit generators for the group and sharp bounds on their order – the latter, together with some structural results on the p-primary part of O due to Tate and Keune, gives a proof of its structure for many number fields of small discriminants, confirming earlier conjectural results. For the first time, tame kernels of non-Galois fields are obtained.     

Slice modules over minimal 2-fundamental algebras

We consider a class of algebras whose Auslander-Reiten quivers have starting components that are not generalized standard. For these components we introduce a generalization of a slice and show that only in finitely many cases (up to isomorphism) a slice module is a tilting module.
