On the Patterson–Sullivan Measure for Geometrically Finite Groups Acting on Complex or Quaternionic Hyperbolic Space

The goal of this paper is to provide a tool, the Global Measure Formula, that will facilitate the study of the limit set of discrete geometrically finite groups of isometries of the rank one symmetric spaces. We consider the shadow of a ball from a fixed reference point onto the boundary, and prove a formula that describes the measure of the shadow in terms of the center of the shadowed ball, generalizing a result from real hyperbolic geometry.     

Domain decomposition for an asymptotic geological fault modeling

We present in this paper a domain decomposition method to treat faults in geological basin modeling. The particularity of this model is that the faults whose widths are very small in comparison with the basin size, are not characterized as subdomains any more but as interfaces between sedimentary blocks. The originality of this work lies in the formulation of this new fault model and in the definition and the computation of the interface conditions between the subdomains. Sobolev空间H~s(R~n)上矩阵伸缩的多尺度分析特征刻画

本文对高维Sobolev空间Hs(Rn)上具有矩阵伸缩的多尺度分析特征进行了 刻划,特别给出了稠密性特征的一个充分必要条件,从而解决了文献[4]中提出的一个 问题.所得结果覆盖了这方面的已知结论.     

Geometrical study of paraxial light beam transmission in free space

By introducing an imaginary space transform curvature ρ_s, a complex space called Riemannian space is constructed, in which the light propagating in free space has the trajectory of straight line while propagating. Moreover, this curvature couples with that of the wave front of the paraxial beam ρ_w, and therefore a complex curvature ρ_c is constructed, which can be employed to investigate the behavior of the light transmission and to generalize the ABCD law. A note on conservation laws for a multiclass service queueing system with setup times

This paper derives a conservation law for mean waiting times in a single-server multi-class service queueing system (M ^X/G/1 type queue) with setup times which may be dependent on multiple customer classes and its arrival batch size by using the work decomposition property in the queueing system with vacations.     

GDDP: Generalized Dual Dynamic Programming Theory

This document presents theoretical considerations about the solution of dynamic optimization problems integrating the Benders Theory, the Dynamic Programming approach and the concepts of Control Theory. The so called Generalized Dual Dynamic Programming Theory (GDDP) can be considered as an extension of two previous approaches known as Dual Dynamic Programming (DDP): The first is the work developed by Pereira and Pinto [3–5], which was revised by Velásquez and others [8,9]. The second is the work developed by Read and others [2,6,7].     

On the Solvability of the Multidimensional Version of the First Darboux Problem for a Model Second-Order Degenerating Hyperbolic Equation

A multidimensional version of the first Darboux problem is considered for a model second-order degenerating hyperbolic equation. Using the technique of functional spaces with a negative norm, the correct formulation of this problem in the Sobolev weighted space is proved.     

事件空间中二阶非Четаев型非完整系统的守恒律

研究事件空间中二阶非чeTaeB型非完整系统的守恒律。提出事件空间中的Jourdain原理，引入事件空间中的Jorudain生成元，给出无限小变换下的Jourdain原理的不变性条件。在一定条件下得到事件空间中系统的守恒律。并举例说明结果的应用。     

Banach空间值鞅不等式与弱大数定律

本文证明了Ｂａｎａｃｈ空间值鞅的一些不等式，讨论了Ｂａｎａｃｈ空间的凸性及光滑性与某些鞅不等的式的联系，给出了Ｈｉｌｂｅｒｔ空间的一个鞅不等式刻划，同时还讨论了一致Ｐ光滑空间中鞅的弱大数定律，本文的结论推广与改进了很多熟知的定理。
