Effect of nonlinear electrodynamics on shadows of slowly rotating black holes

In this study, we investigate the effect of nonlinear electrodynamics on the shadows of charged, slowly rotating black holes with the presence of a cosmological constant. Rather than the null geodesic of the background black hole spacetime, the trajectory of a photon, as a perturbation of the nonlinear electrodynamic field, is governed by an effective metric. The latter can be derived by analyzing the propagation of a discontinuity of the electromagnetic waveform. Subsequently, the image of the black hole and its shadow can be evaluated using the backward ray-tracing technique. We explore the properties of the resultant black hole shadows of two different scenarios of nonlinear electrodynamics, namely, the logarithmic and exponential forms. In particular, the effects of nonlinear electrodynamics on the optical image are investigated, as well as the image's dependence on other metric parameters, such as the black hole spin and charge. The resulting black hole image and shadow display rich features that potentially lead to observational implications.     

Continuity in law with respect to the Hurst index of some additive functionals of sub-fractional Brownian motion

In this article, first, we prove some properties of the sub-fractional Brownian motion introduced by Bojdecki et al. [Statist. Probab. Lett. 69(2004):405–419]. Second, we prove the continuity in law, with respect to small perturbations of the Hurst index, in some anisotropic Besov spaces, of some continuous additive functionals of the sub-fractional Brownian motion. We prove that our result can be obtained easily, by using the decomposition in law of the sub-fractional Brownian motion given by Bardina and Bascompte [Collect. Math. 61(2010):191–204] and Ruiz de Chavez and Tudor [Math. Rep. 11(2009):67–74], without using the result of Wu and Xiao [Stoch. Proc. Appl. 119(2009):1823–1844] by connecting the sub-fractional Brownian motion to its stationary Gaussian process through Lamperti’s transform. This decomposition in law leads to a better understanding and simple proof of our result.     

On Compressible Smooth Viscous Fluids in Slowly Expanding Balls

In[17]and[19,20],the global existence and large time behaviors of smooth compressible fluids(including inviscid gases of Euler equations,viscous gases of Navier-Stokes equations,and rarified gases of Boltzmann equation,respectively)have been established in an infinitely expanding ball with a constant expansion speed.This paper concerns with the viscous fluids in a slowly expanding ball.By involved analy-sis on the density function and the weighted energy estimates,we show that the fluid in the slowly expanding ball smoothly tends to a vacuum state and there is no appearance of vacuum in any part of the expansive ball.Our present result is a meaningful supplement to the one in[19].     

光学孤子在色散缓变光纤中的传输特性研究

从理论上分析了超短光脉冲在色散缓变光纤中无畸变传输所要求的色散变化关系，设计了单模缓变光纤结构参数。数值模拟验证了理论分析结果，指出改变光纤色散参数完全可以克服光纤损耗对光孤子波形的畸变影响。     

Multiscaling analysis of a slowly varying anaerobic digestion model

We construct the slowly varying limiting state solutions to a nonlinear dynamical system for anaerobic digestion with Monod-based kinetics involving slowly varying model parameters arising from slow environmental variation. The advantage of these approximate solutions over numerical solutions is their applicability to a wide range of parameter values. We use these limiting state solutions to develop analytic approximations to the full nonlinear system by applying a multiscaling technique. The approximate solutions are shown to compare favorably with numerical solutions.     

缓变地形下Rossby波振幅演变满足的带有强迫项的KdV方程

一类慢变参数振子系统的同宿分叉及其安全盆侵蚀

分析一个具有慢变参数的非线性系统,利用Ｍｅｌｎｋｏｖ方法,分析了系统在参数发生变化时的同宿分叉,同时利用分叉结果,数值讨论了当系统参数发生变化时安全盆的侵蚀及分叉,混沌的联系。     

缓变下垫面对浅水方程的动力学订正

讨论了当下垫面随时间缓慢变化时浅水方程的形式. 从控制大气运动的连续性方程和动量方程出发, 将下垫面的缓慢变化作为一个小量叠加到固有下垫面函数上, 利用大气的上下边界条件, 得到改进的浅水方程. 在改进的浅水方程中, 由缓变局部水平体积散度, 订正了局部水平体积散度和流体局部厚度变化之间的平衡, 在此基础上得到包含下垫面缓变的涡度方程.
